Ricardo's Mediterranean Kitchen"Our first evening with Ricardo"I had heard a lot of good things about Ricardo's so I was expecting to be impressed but the food and the service exceeded my expectations. I hope we can be back one of these days.

We had our wedding reception there in August and it was perfect - from the outstanding service to the food and atmosphere. We weren't crazy about the garlic prawns from the appie menu as it seemed like they were a little too plain and not a lot for the price. The rest of the menu items we ordered were top notch. We were there on a Thursday night so had the added benefit of a live jazz group and reduced prices for bottles of wine. We got there early but they had a table ready for us. My only criticism was that the tables for 2 people were very close together to other tables. This is a great spot for a larger group where you don't expect privacy. Relaxed, helpful, knowledgable, something that is a precious find. We liked the charming patio, but by the end of the night moved inside to finish desert because of the Mosquitos. Service was great - server was friendly. Husband has pork roast, really enjoyed it. I had lobster pasta, very good, nice and light, not the heavy cream sauce type. Our dinner guests also had the lobster pasta and said it was good, not great. Would definitely eat there again. Took my elderly Mom for her birthday and it happened to be Jazz night with 2 lovely ladies entertaining and reaching out to the patrons for requests and bits of teasing. Well enjoyed by my Mom, and all.
