  • "This place had a large space and a modern decor feel. The service was quick and the pizza was very good. My only critique would be the price. $2.00 for some veggie toppings and a $10 glass of wine gave me a $100 bill by the time I left (for 2 people). My suggestion would be be prepared to spend a lot."

  • "Had it not been for the noise level, I would have given this restaurant a better review. The service and food were excellent. The place had been recommended by Italians and the pizza was indeed authentically Neapolitan. The problem was with the music. First, it was so loud that I had to shout at the person sitting beside me to carry a conversation. Second, we went on a Friday and they had a DJ, but what they played was just really abrasive top 40 music totally inappropriate to mealtime."

  • "I've been to Ribalta a few times and have loved everything I've gotten- the pizzas are great, especially the truffle white pizza if you're into mushrooms. I'm personally a huge gnocchi lover and the pesto gnocchi here is divine. Usually I'm stuffed from gnocchi after a few bites but I honestly wish there was more of it on the plate with this one The portion sizes are fitting overall though! Only downer was that service was a bit slow, we can to flag down the waiter to order and get the check more than once. But that aside, I'd definitely come back here a 4th time!"

  • "I love this place, it makes me feel at home...even if you are not Italian, I mean , the food is great, the place is big, nice , for any kind of event, it's the right place to go. Rosario , the manager and Pasqual, the chef, are nice, friendly and very professional also! And all the staff is kind patient and very very professional also! I recommend Ribalta Pizza for sure!"

  • "Made a 5:30 reservation for a pre-Vineyard Theatre dinner. It was a great choice, three blocks away. At that early hour the place was empty but the staff was pleasant, attentive and helpful. It has a bar and its red house wine was surprisingly tasty. The food was simple and delicious. We were looking for simple light dinner before going to the theater and we weren't disappointed. Would definitely go back."

  • "The pizza here is outstanding, but it's a bit it on the pricey side. My girlfriend and I ordered two Margherita Rossas, one with broccoli rabe and spicy salami ($12 + 3 + 3 = $18), one with speck ($12 + 4 = $16); we had two pieces left over. We skipped the deserts; they were all $9. It's worth it despite the price. The decor is nicer than your typical pizza joint, more like a modern, casual Italian restaurant. Another option for excellent Neopolitan style pizza is Luzzo's (1st Avenue near 13th Street)."

  • "As titled: the food was good, but the service left something to be desired. Took a while to take our orders, the Brussels sprouts came with pancetta even though we'd asked for it to be vegetarian, and we didn't have water for a while. Pasta dishes were al dente with fresh tasting ingredients. Pizza had a pleasantly chewy crust, although I would have preferred the ingredients go a bit further to the edge. Wine was fine, nothing special."

  • "We had the most terrific time at Ribalta on Wednesday night! We were with a friend of ours, who cannot eaten gluten and Chef and owner Pasquale made his famous gluten free pizza for her. She just adored it. We always love the pizza doc, with fresh Buffalo mozzarella and are sure to have their delightful "small plates". Our favorites are melanzane a funghetto and the zucchine scapece. For dessert, i cannot leave without their pizza Nutella or the frutti di bosco, which is the most divine fresh fruit, vanilla gelato and it is presented in a homemade biscuit shell! Ribalto promises and delivers! Molto bene!"

  • "I tried the Buffalo pizza and it was really good! I am from the south of Italy so pizza for me is a fundamental comfort food and I am always looking for the one that tastes close to what I eat at home. This pizza is so far the best one I have had in Manhattan. The size is just right, not too heavy, the buffalo mozzarella actually tastes like buffalo mozzarella, but maybe the tomato sauce could be better and fresher. Still 5 starts out of 5 tho!"

  • "We split 4 appetizers (meatballs, zuchini, brussel sprouts and sauteed shrimp and beans). The first three were outstanding, the shrimp/beans were good, not in the same class. We also had the Anguria salad (outstanding) and a gluten-free Doc pizza (good, not great). We really liked all of the wait staff, but they did bring an incorrect appetizer (quickly remedied) and didn't bring the salad until I reminded them (again, instantly corrected). We would definitely go there again. Not the quietest spot to catch up with friends, but still worth it."

  • "Went with a group -- they were able to set 8 of us up in an alcove that felt like a private room. Food was perfect, pizzas were great sharing size, and they even gave us all a round of shots at the end of the night. Great first experience, highly recommended for groups or dates!"
