The food is very good, however the prices are high. For a beef filet 6 oz. with green beens & mashed potatoes cost was $26.00. My husband had the rib eye steak & was $29.00. The food was good, service good, however this would be a special occasion & not a regular go to. Soup, Salad etc. was all extra. Would recommend if you wish to spend over $100.00 on one meal for 2 not including drinks.

We decided to go out for a family dinner and wanted to try somewhere new. The Ale and Whiskey House theme was appealing to my son and myself for the beer variety. We did enjoy sampling the beers but also we were very happy with the steaks and burgers (especially my wife and daughter loved it). To my pleasant surprise we also enjoyed the ambiance and service. My wife tried a beer that she did not like and I was going to switch with her. However, our waitress insisted on replacing the beer without another type at no extra cost. Overall it was a very good experience and we will keep Rib Eye Jack's in mind for future dinner outings.

Baby back ribs were tiny. They really put the baby into baby back ribs. Had the half rack which to me looked like a half of a half. Really should've sent it back. I'm not the complaining type so I never complained - but then again should I have to complain when it was so obviously small. My wife laughed when the waitress out it in front of me. Quality was ok but the quantity was a joke at $18. My wife had an aged NY steak - she said the flavour was great and cooked right but it was a little tough. A quality cut of steak should be butter tender when aged so I have to assume it wasn't a top of the line cut which you expect when ordering a steak. Yes we should've complained but didn't. Lots of other options and won't be back.

My Boyfriend and I decided to take our chances on trying something new. After a bit of research we settled on trying Rib Eye Jack's. It was such a great choice! The Onion Rings were HUGE and paired well with their dipping sauce. The Crab Cakes were amazing, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious! The servings were generous and definitely worth the price. My Boyfriend ordered the Cheeseburger, I ordered the Cajun Chicken Club Sandwich and neither of us could finish our meals. Between the amazing food and responsive staff who were completely on the ball and courteous even as the restaurant got busier we had a wonderful experience at Rib Eye Jack's and will definitely be back again! Thank you!

This was our second time at Rib Eye Jacks...and we brought some friends along this time. The food certainly didn't disappoint...its great but a little on the pricey side. The bar menu of craft beers is incredible! The service was pretty good for the most part but we did wait with empty glasses a couple of times, waiting for the waitress to take another order. And we did have to wave her down to request the bill after we had already told her we were not interested in coffee, dessert or another round of drinks after our meals were done.

Very disappointing. We made reservation for a quite booth and had a confermation number. When we arrived they could not find our reservations and set us at a table in the middle of the room. Our server was extermly slow. Customers showed up after us and got served first. The food took a long time to come to the table. Our table ordered steaks as this was their specialty. The food was very dissappointing and the service was very poor. For a lesser price we could have gone to the Keg for better quality food and service. For the food and service we were given, this place is way overpriced

The atmosphere was dull and simply lacked any real theme at all. About the only interesting feature is the list of available beers. Food selection was acceptable, but limited and just a touch over priced - eg. $6.99 to add a chicken breast to a salad??

Great craft beer selection and food quality is well above 'pub' level, though some might mistake it for not being that way with the craft beer focus. Steak is one of the best I've had anywhere while eating out.

We were a group of 6. We started with an order of their colossal onion rings and their crab cakes, both had good taste, but were over cooked. They were crispy to the point of almost burnt. All of us enjoyed our meal, I had the shrimp tacos, they were really good, my husband the pork chop and he said it was good, still juicy. There was also a order of the Tennessee chicken which had good feedback along with the burger and the tilapia, the steak salad was the only meal that was only So so. Overall it was good.

I met a friend for lunch at Walker's Fish Market in Burlington (we both live outside of Burlington ) but to our surprise the restaurant had closed and reopened under Rib Eye Jack's Ale House. Considering we weren't much into steak and ale we wee a bit apprehensive about staying. We did and had a lovely quiet lunch. The food was good and the server pleasant. We sat for hours enjoying our leisurely lunch. Odd thing... window shutters remained closed the entire time. It would have been nice to see the outside especially since it was a sunny day.

A neat place with a unique design sense. Light coloured furniture makes it light and comfortable and I noticed several larger group seating areas, which was nice. Big screen TV's everywhere (even the bathroom!) but they weren't loud like some places. Lots of food choices and TONS of beer options. Various promos and deals daily, and they have evening live entertainment. Was very good! Pricey (~$100 for 3 of us to eat with drinks) but fine if it's a special occasion or every once and a while.

Called ahead to let them know we were celebrating a 40 bday so they could make sure our night was special. Didn't help...our waitress got our drink orders wrong 3x...we (customers) finally figured out which paddle (trio sampler of beer) belonged to whom. Oh, & the bday girl had a cup that was half full. We pointed out to the waitress who giggled & said she would get her another...she never did. Then the waitress forgot to put in one of our meals...can u guess who's...yup bday girl. So we waited over 1/2 for our meal. When it came one meal was missing something listed on the menu. Try & guess who's it was... The waitress did bring over a birthday dessert with a sparkler...as I was still eating!!!!! No compensation we paid for everything :(

Went to celebrate my husband's birthday. Had been a couple of times before and food was good as was the service. This time not so much and what a disappointment that it was a celebration. The restaurant was not busy which might have been a clue. While we did have a server at the table right away, it took 20 minutes to get our drinks and it went downhill from there. Food was good but the bad/slow service (including a fruit fly in someone's beer!) overshadowed it all

We went to Rib Eye Jacks for my Son's 18th Birthday. We found it very noisy, even in the restaurant. The decor did not fit the overall feel of the place. It seemed more like a place to drink beer and hang out at the bar than to have dinner. The food was good, but the portions were tiny, we all ended up snacking when we got home. While I understand it's meant to be an "Ale House" and there was no shortage of beer selections, there were very few decent wine selections. Needless to say, we were all dissapointed and likely won't go back. Oure watiress was great, friendly and attentive.

This was not our first time to the restaurant. The server was really un attentive and we waited a long time for drinks and our food. When food arrived it was very over cooked, two of us at our table had burgers and they were very dry and hard. The third dish was fish and chips, the fish was burnt as well. This is not typical of what we experienced the first time. I give the restaurant full credit that they did take care of the issue once brought to their attention but no one checked on us early on in the meal, only after we had our plates in front of us for about 25 minutes.
