Daily specials, for both lunch and dinner, include items prepared in a contemporary style with American and Mediterranean flavors. A strong emphasis is on fresh seafood and homemade pasta………
Desserts are freshly prepared on premise by Chef Mario with specialties like elegant flan, zucotto, and mouth watering cheesecake.
An impressive wine list is available for your review and can be purchased by the bottle or glass. Cocktails prepared at our handsome bar are both generous and delicious.
Rialto offers various event packages for both lunch and dinner designed to meet your catering needs.

  • "Me and my girlfriend first went here initially due to it's quaintness, and we haven't regretted it yet. The portions are perfectly sized to fill you but with enough room for one of their delicious desserts. The almond crusted stuffed chicken in raspberry brandy sauce is my default go to -- absolutely to die for. We've converted a few people to this restaurant and can't wait to go back."

  • "The food was amazing! Exquisitely prepared to perfection. Service can be crank up a notch, or probably it was Valentine's Day so it's a tad busier than usual, will try it again on a regular night. Place is too tight, not enough elbow space between the other person's table, you can actually hear an earful of everyone's conversation. I guess it could be romantic if not for the way too close proximity of customers with each other. Will come back for the food definitely."

  • "The Sarturday 6:30 pm seating starts off nice, then slowly turns to a loud noisy crowd where you can't hear the person next to you. I dined with my husband. The veal picatta, was not tender and had no sense of lemon in the sauce at all. Home made pasta dish was very good. The salad leaves were turning brown at the edge and the walnuts were so heavily coated with sugar, we had to remove them. No one offered to take our dessert order until we were ready to leave. Then I noticed that it was time for the next "shift" to take over the table. My husband said he wouldn't go back to this restaurant. There are better neighborhood choices for finer dining. A visit during the week versus Saturday night would be worth the trip for good pasta."

From the gracious greeting by Tara (the owner) to the outstanding food (cooked by her husband Mario) everything about the restaurant was wonderful. I will definitely be back."

  • "Went here for husband's birthday dinner on a Sunday night with the kids...hostess/owner was very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent--service was beyond excellent and they make this insanely awesome dessert called 'Zuccata' that you MUST order if you like cake and almond flavored whipped cream!"

  • "Made reservations for 8 pm on saturday night. I know it wont be exactly on time bc it "8pm on a saturday night" but to wait for 1 hour 35 min was excessive. We wait their small bar and they did buy us a round of drinks but the wait was tooooo long. We stayed, enjoyed our dinner but the restaurant has to learn how to schedule tables better. As SEINFELD SAID "you know how to take the reservation but you need to learn how to keep the reservation"."

  • "This restaurant was recommended by a friend. The food was good but a little overpriced. NYC prices in LI. I had one of the specials, black linguine with lobster tail, mussels, shrimp & clams. It was very good but not $32 good. Staff were very friendly, atmosphere was nice & cozy. Overall very good!"

  • "Rialto has been a consistent favorite of ours for a couple of years. Their food on New Years Eve did not disappoint--it was truly outstanding. The service once we were seated was also top shelf. Unfortunately, they were busy and we had to wait for our table. Their small bar is not the worst place to spend an hour on New Years Eve."

  • "New owner/chef has things just as, if not better than the previous. We had reservation and were seated promptly. Our waiter had class, style and a great sense of humor. All the wait staff was exceptional, noting could have gone better as far as service. I had the pineapple salad with crab meat, the dish was fantastic and the presentation in half a pineapple was terrific. My girlfriend had Butternut Squash soup followed by the Filet of Branzino with shrimp, both of which she said were perfectly cooked and seasoned and delicious. I had the Veal Scaloppini Bolognese which was tender medallions of veal with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella in a wonderful brown gravy sauce. I give this restaurant five stars and can’t want to go back again!"

  • "Christmas Eve must be a nightmare for those of you who own restaurants! The three of us chose to spend the evening with Tara and her staff, even though she is a full 45 minute drive from home. We waited over an hour past our reservation time and were finally seated. End of bad news. The good news is that we wound up having one of the nicest Christmas Eve's possible, and without a doubt, were served the most delicious dinners by one of the most professional servers, Mike. Alex helped us finish up our night with delectable desserts. He's a gem. Thank you everyone, and a healthy and happy new year to all! Millie Cappoli"

  • "The Rialto was an excellent experience for us. We had a party of 12 and all of our meals were sumptuous. The menu selection was inventive and the variety was excellent. From the very basic spaghetti & meatballs to the complex mix of flavors in the specials. The service was attentive without being overbearing and the head waiter was entertaining and informative. Portions were generous and complemented by tasty sides. We were so full, but the desert was so good we had to split some. Overall it was excellent and I'd gladly return."

  • "The food was excellent with an outstanding list of specials. We had an excellent appetizer lobster tail spinach salad. An entree special was a black ink pasta with seafood in a fra diavolo sauce that was delicious. The wait staff was uppity and there were peculiar pauses in service waiting for menus and between courses. They also spoke amongst themselves in another language in the dining room except when addressing diners which seemed rude. The hostess was warm and friendly and there was live music with a singer which added a nice ambience."

  • "This restaurant does not honor reservations. We had an 8:45 reservation and we were not seated until 9:30. In addition, when we voiced our unhappiness and told the restaurant we were starving, they said they would send us appetizers. When the bill came, we were charged for all the appetizers that they "sent us", none of which we ordered. This is not the first time they have not honored reservations, but this is the last time I will give them another chance."

  • "Rialto proved to be a restaurant where all the favorable reviews were spot-on! Rialto is a small restaurant that is BIG on style, flavors and presentation. While this was our first visit, it was obvious the room was filled with patrons that were well known to the staff. Tara and Mario Fuentes have created a dining destination for which I and my party had been searching: a warm atmosphere in which elegant service allows you the time to savor the phenomenal food from Rialto's kitchen. Each member of my party ordered a different appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Each of us tried to force a taste on our dining partners while guarding our own plates. It was that good! Do not pass on the house Sicilian specialty!"

  • "I always wanted to try Rialto, having passed by for years. Until reading recent reviews I didn't know it was new ownership, but tonight we gave it a try and are so glad we did. A lovely restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. Between the specials and the regular menu there was so much to choose from it was hard to decide. The clams casino were amazing. Loved the veal chop valdostana, though I expected it to be flat. Everyone I was with cleaned their plates! They have many beautiful desserts, but I am not a fan of cakes that sit out on a cart -- with my highly sensitive stomach, I avoid these. I chose a delish tartufo with a perfectly made cappucino to finish my meal. We had a lovely evening and will be back soon."
