This was our second visit to Rezaz and far from our last. I have loved Mediterranean food since first sampling it in a Miami taverna in 1971 and have enjoyed it in Greece, Turkey, and the Aegean Islands. The felafel at Rezaz was the best I've ever tasted. My wife raved about her soft shell crab and even let me have a sip of her curry lentil soup. Again - the best! For dessert (her birthday treat) she had a chocolate tort with raspberry gelato and port wine reduction. I am ordinarily not a dessert person - but there was no way that I could follow that habit faced with this spectacular treat. And finally, our server was excellent - never hovered and no silliness - just very professional.

We found Rezaz on a trip to Asheville four years ago, and have returned for dinner every time we have been in Asheville since then. It was completely up to expectations this time - great food (we never pass up the mezze platter), attentive but not overbearing service, and an overall great dining experience. The strawberry shortcake dessert was outstanding. Highly recommend taking a pint of muhamarra home with you.

We would highly recommend Rezaz. We split a salad which came served on two individual plates. Our meals were delicious. My husband had the filet and I had the vegetable spankopita. The pot de creme for dessert was amazing! What a gem, and a short walk from out hotel to boot.

Rezaz is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion with the innovative and fresh mediterranean cuisine and cozy atmosphere! No need to dress to the nines here, but the menu and service will make you feel that you are dining in a 5-star upscale restaurant without the pretentious feeling.

Our first visit to this restaurant after many trips to the Asheville area. The food was amazing, the flounder fin starter was delicious, the lamb shank entree was by far the best lamb shank I have had in a very long time. Our waiter, Ben (prefer to call him our tour guide), was friendly and explained the menu items with great detail. After our meal he invited us to the kitchen to see the chefs table should we wish to reserve a place on our next visit, which no doubt we will. All in all a wonderful experience and memorable evening.

We love the new lunch boxes - bento gems with a variety of tastes. I ordered the grilled Scottish salmon which came with lentil salad, basmati rice with veggies, a spring salad, and a spanakopita treat. My daughter had an all vegetarian couscous box with the same sides. We both ordered dessert - a homemade pound cake topped with strawberry jam (also homemade and NOT too sweet) and goat cheese cream.
The owner is Mediterranean and it shows in the flavors and balanced nature of the meals. Healthy cooking and taste are at home here! BTW, one has two dining options - the restaurant and the enoteca. We prefer the latter because of the variety of choices and smaller portion sizes.
