A word from Revolution Wines
Revolution Wines is the first full-scale working Winery in Midtown Sacramento. We source local fruit, and do everything from crush to bottle at S and 29th streets. We offer wine tastings, wine by the glass or bottle, and memberships to our wine club in our Tasting Room, while our Bistro offers house-made, local and seasonal eats with an ever-changing menu. At Revolution Wines, we see our mission as producing and selling our wines and eats as local and seasonal, vineyard-to-table and farm-to-table. The addition of a Bistro, Tasting Room and Patio complete the experience of Sacramento terroir, and at Revolution Wines, it is a rare place for Sacramento Terroir Immersion. We invite you to visit us and experience the best that our locale and region has to offer!

*please note, we only accept reservations for parties of 6 or more on Friday and Saturday nights.

Diner Reviews
  • "Although we didn't know what to expect, we found both the food and the (Sacramento-made) wine to be very, very good. You may select small plates or larger ones, and it is easy to see (and taste) that both the winemakers AND the chef are serious about the endeavor. I hope we return soon –– this a real gem in Midtown Sacramento. (And, of course, superb coffee right next door, at Temple.)"

  • "I have been to Revolution Wines on several occasions and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, the food, and the wine selection. It's a great place to meet friends and explore the various wine and food options available at the winery. The outdoor seating is ample however, when the sun starts setting in the west, it can get a bit hot and bright. Otherwise, it's an ideal location for a relaxing evening on the patio with a great glass of wine."

  • "My friend bought me a Groupon for Revolution Wines and we finally went this week. We didn't realize it was so close to our jobs which we liked. Our server was phenomenal. It was funny because most of what we wanted to eat the restaurant was out of, and we were trying not to go over our $20 limit that the Groupon stipulated for us. However, the server recommended the toasted nuts and the bruschetta. I was blown away with how good they both were!!! It was definitely a nice relaxing way to end our day. I will definitely be going back."

  • "It was hard to choose because there were so many wonderful choices on the menu and wine list. My friend and I ordered an appetizer, a salad, and a sandwich to share. All three items were absolutely wonderful. Quality ingredients, good mix of flavors...I bet everything they make here tastes spectacular!"

  • "After discovering that the winery we'd planned to go to was over an hour away, we needed something close by to try. We visited with friends on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was wonderful! The fruit bruschetta is a must try. We enjoyed the wine tasting and left with a bottle of Chenin Blanc."

  • "It's a tasting room with dining service so it's nice to have the tasting room experience while dining on warm olives, mixed nuts and a wonderful charcuterie plate. Although it got busy and service wasn't as personal as it was earlier, it was still attentive. Very relaxing atmosphere with a simple menu and above average food. We look forward to dining here again."

  • "The atmosphere was good and casual but food was over priced . Very skimpy and the toasts were overdone however......the Miso salad was good and so was the Merlot and Cab that we had."
