Revolution Grille is a chef owned and operated restaurant that offers eclectic American cooking produced with classical techniques and ethnic influences from around the world. The ever-changing menu is a new take on American cuisine based on Chef and Proprietor Rob Campbell's direction. The menu will feature local and seasonal items and guests will appreciate the exceptional value and moderate pricing.   • "We're spoiled with dining options in Washtenaw County, so even though I've been wanting to try Revolution for a while, I hadn't taken the time to make the 40 minute drive to check it out. It was definitely worth the drive and I think a monthly trip there might not even be enough to satisfy my palette. From the small plates to the entrees, everything we ate was outstanding, unique and fresh. The brussels sprouts do not disappoint and might be the best I've had...EVER! Just do yourself a favor, go eat here."

Brilliant use of iPads for menus, out-of-the-ordinary mixed drinks, eclectic menu selections, vibrant ambiance, and reasonable prices. Our table sampled the fried brussel sprouts, mahi mahi tacos, pork cheeks, and chicken schnitzel. All outstanding selections. We would love to go back again."

Waitress was outstanding - Becky- did a great job of helping us select from an outstanding menu. Only drawback - no espresso - would have been the perfect end to the meal. But the coffee was very good."

  • "While the taste of our food was generally good, there were several details that had a significant negative impact on our experience. The iced tea was pale and tasted mostly of water, and only faintly of tea. The manager asked for another to be brought, but the second had the same color and taste. The manager came again and this time reported a problem with the brewer. But why would they have served the tea (twice) if they could clearly see the problem? Other issues: the spring rolls were tiny and overpriced, they did not have any chopsticks for the sushi, and they gave us chips instead of the fries we ordered. Our server had a commendably positive attitude, but the restaurant's service was slow, and not well under control."

  • "We're huge fans of Revolutin. They've recently changed chefs and altered the menu a bit. They have a little work to do to get back to the high standards we've come to love. The brussel sprouts are still really good but not as addicting as we have come to expect. I wouldn't order the cashew and avocado sushi again. My husband's schnitzel was good but a little overcooked and could've used a little more sauce. We'll still dine here as it's one of the best places in Toledo."

  • "Pleasant atmosphere with personable servers that know the menu and speak about the food with enthusiasm. Ordered a fish entree and the ribeye steak. Both were outstanding. Great wine list and large selection of beers. Probably the best (and most creative) selection of salads that I have seen at any restaurant. No reason to be disappointed at Revolution Grille. We will return. Glad we made reservations."

  • "wife and I enjoyed the dinner experience. The bread served was mediocre but the other parts of the experienced was good. The dessert selections were so-so. Would go again but in the winter, I would wear a vest sweater since the restaurant was cool and a lot of patrons were wearing their coats around their shoulders. The music was not good for the evening meal. It should have been Jazz selections which would have added to the experience. Stella's in Perrysburg offers Jazz music and it adds a lot."

  • "Very good food usually, although i find the chicken schnitzel a little too bland for my tastes. Other menu items such as the pork rolls were very tasty. We enjoy the interesting mixed drinks. I wish the entree menu was a little larger as that would entice me to come back sooner. The vibe is very nice and our waiter had excellent mannerisms and was very courteous. Great customer service so far."

  • "This was our fourth or fifth visit to Revolution Grille and as with previous visits, it was excellent. The service is always prompt and friendly - it's evident that the servers were properly trained to be attentive despite a busy room to work. The food always delivers and we've never been disappointed when trying something new off the menu. The brussel sprouts that the server recommended to us were fantastic and we loved our entrees - the Ribeye and Chicken & Waffles. Love the food and ambiance - we decided Revolution is our favorite area restaurant."

  • "I have been to this restaurant twice and each time with different friends. The menu varies based on season and local availablity of foods. Presentation is always great, flavor of entrees and appetizers is fantastic, unique and delicious cocktails, and desserts are divine. We think this would be a great spot to get engaged (if we were in that age group) - quiet, small and great ambiance!! Don't let the exterior fool you!!"

  • "Very much enjoyed our first time at Revolution. The fish tacos were outstanding - the mahi mahi was the best I ever had. The lamb meatballs were excellent - a symphony of flavors - and the leftovers were even better! The beet salad was quite good - my friend loved it, I liked it. I really enjoyed the banh mi sandwich - I had it without the pate, since I prefer not to eat pork. Again very good combination of flavors. The frites with the ribeye were great, my friend's ribeye itself, though, was somewhat chewy, though done to perfection. My friend loved the coconut creme pie for dessert. The waitress was very helpful, especially in the beginning, answering the many questions we had about the menu items."

  • "Tried on a Saturday night with another couple & sat at a 4 -top in the center of the PACKED dining room. We bumped elbows with fellow patrons, which we debated as both cozy and intimate, but also a little claustrophobic. Menus are tablet-based, & we chose some Very spicy and delicious drinks, plus a wine. Bar was a little backed up, but our server was Top Notch with helpful recommendations so the time passed quickly. We opted for 4 apps to share, the Brussels Sprouts, the Buffalo Calamari, the cheese curds, and a flatbread pizza. We also split 2 entrees, the Swordfish with Pumpkin Risotto & the Chicken Holstein. I wish I had more room to tell you about the dishes, but just take me at my word: I wish I could eat here every day. Skilled Chef!"

  • "While we enjoyed our dinner tremendously, everything from hors d'oeuvre on was very highly seasoned. It was good at the time but did not agree with any of us later. There were four of us. We had a wide variety and it was all tasty but, as I said overly seasoned. It seems as though the food would not have to be so covered up with flavor if it were really fresh food which I presume it was. Thanks"

  • "My wife and I had heard about the Revolution Grille but had not gotten there until recently. Shame on us! We've been missing what has to be one of the best restaurants in northwest Ohio. Everything was great. Ans although not inexpensive, the value was outstanding. I have the ribeye and my wife had the pumpkin risotto swordfish - both were cooked to perfection! I highly recommend the Revolution Grille."

  • "Four of us went on a recent Wednesday night, right after 3 days of blizzard. Revolution was a great choice to rid us of "cabin fever". Service and food were both very good. Some highlights were the bbq shortribs, pierogis, and the mussels. This is one of our "go to" restaurants in the area and they never fail to impress. Thanks Chef Rob and your hard working staff."

  • "The intimate atmosphere is great for couples, especially for special occasions. Loved the brussel sprout appetizer and presentation of our meals. We split the coconut cream pie to finish our meal which was fabulous. Our very friendly waitress was attentive but not hovering."
