I went to this place because I purchased a voucher however didn't realize until we got there that brunch was only on Sunday. Well we stayed anyways and it did not disappoint! For lunch we had the penne pasta with shrimp which didn't sound so amazing but was delish, and the short rib sandwich which was cooked perfectly! The restaurant is beautiful and everyone who worked there was very friendly! I will be going back for brunch on Sunday!

We went on restaurant week. We enjoyed the meal very much. The braised ribs were excellent. There was a surcharge for them from the price fix. Worth it. Caesar salad was sparse. The noise level is high but you can still hear each other. Energetic bar.

We ate here one week earlier and the food blew us away, especially the ricotta gnocchi. We called friends to join us for Restaurant Week and to sample the gnocchi which we raved about. It wasn't the same. Whereas the first time it melted in our mouth, this time it was very al dente. The sauce was also nondescript. The calamari appetizer which was perfectly cooked the first time was not as crisp this time.We will try it one more time as every restaurant has an off night.

We went on Sunday night for Restaurant Week. We started with the brussel sprouts with cherries, which was really good and was a very large portion and the caesar salad, which was good but not memorable. They ran out of the cavatelli pasta, but they made the dish substituting with garganelli, it had a strong brussel sprouts flavor, but was pretty good. I had the ricotta gnocchi, which wasn't bad but was definitely more gummy than I would have liked. When the server came back to take our dessert order, they had run out of both the peanut butter mousse and the creme broulee, which was very disappointing. They did offer several other options not on the Restaurant week menu, though. I had the pecan pie, which was huge and very good.

Went there recently with a small group and we were very impressed! Décor is chic and hip and there was a terrific "vibe" to the place. Our friends are very picky eaters, but there was something for everyone on the menu and our server was very helpful in describing the dishes as well as ingredients used. Great wine selection with fair prices. Don't forget to order the Banana Nutella gelato for dessert! Can't wait to return!

Was taken here by a friend once before and the food was amazing, it was moderately loud and the crowd was young and vibrant. I hyped it up to my friends and encouraged them to make this the place that we go out. The second time around was underwhelming in all things. The food, drinks and scene were fine but nothing to rave about. I'll go back but it won't be a first choice.

The server recommended the osso bucco and described it as falling off the bone. It was listed as a special served with mashed potatoes. When the meal arrived there were 4 small carrots in place of the mashed potatoes. The meat was stuck to the bone and when I was finally able to cut a piece, it was 50% fat. I was still hungry at the end of the meal. The iced cappuccino was almost all water.

This was my not our first to Revel but apparently will be our last. We had 2 staffers wait on us with no explanation as to why there were 2. Typically one is new but nothing was forthcoming. We ordered off of the prix fixe ( which was shown to us with an incorrect pronunciation ) and it was pretty bad. The corn soup tasted like chemicals - water and corn. Horrible. I had pasta with spinach ( there were small strips of green) and tomatoes I guess? I honestly don't recall cause the pasta was literally swimming in oil. My husband's burger left a very oily mess once he picked it up. Strange right? So there ya go. I know it will still bring crowds in but minus 2. Just so disappointing.

Definitely an interesting menu. From the Heirloom Beet Salad to the Brussel Sprout Appetizers we then devoured our Hamburgers. To top it off we had an amazing piece of Key lime pie for dessert. Our waitress Stephanie, was attentive, but not rushed. All of us had an enjoyable meal. Would definitely return.

Service was awful. Inexperienced wait staff and bar staff resulted in delayed and incorrect drink and food orders, and negatively impacted on both food and drink quality. Inadequate staffing also resulted in the failure to clear away any plates before next course served and overall level of confusion which made for an uncomfortable and unenjoyable experience.

Had the Crispy Fried Rock Shrimp Roll Appetizer and Horiataki salad the first time I visited. Both were delicious and hit the spot. I went back another night for their Pre-fixe menu. A tasty three-course meal for $25? Who wouldn't love that? I had the revel salad, parpadelle, and lemon sorbet. All were very tasty and I would definitely go back.

Food was excellent with a really diverse menu. Ambience was just too noisy to totally enjoy the dining experience. Perhaps it would be fine for really late night dining and bar chatting, but a way should be found to dampen the noise level, say, before 9-10 pm. Keeping the piped-in music level lower would help so patrons wouldn't think they need to shout over it.

This was my 2d visit for dinner and it was just as good as the first. Our group of 5 were originally seated in the main dining room. When we requested a move to the dining area in the bar room the staff graciously accommodated us. Comfortable decor, unique cocktails, interesting appetizers and an excellent burger did the trick. Eager for my next visit.

The restaurant decor was modern chic and comfortable. The service was very good, however our waiter made a few mistakes and lacked knowledge of a menu item, resulting in sending a dish back to the kitchen. As far as the food, the menu offerings weren't anything very different, and presentation was very simple; the taste was alright. I wouldn't be talking about the food I ate there all week. Overall, it was just an ok experience.

The food was, for the most part, interesting and well prepared but there was too much salt on a number of the dishes. An exception was the Brussels sprouts, which are as good as all the reviews say. Service was very friendly and accommodating, but a little amateurish. A few examples: wine, requested to be served with our entrees, arrived and was opened before we got our cocktails; a steak knife had to be asked for; and two of the orders requested with minor changes were screwed up, including a burger ordered with only a little cheese that came with none at all. All of the mistakes were quickly and courteously fixed, though. This would have been a solid 4 star were it not for the salt and the service lapses.

My first time here was June 24. I didnt write a review that visit ( never written a review in my life)this is my 1st. Our planned BBQ plans changed due to the rain. Went to Revel Restaurant(all 15 of us, with no resveration)The place was very busy and the staff was running around. Had great food & drinks. Kudos for the delicious short ribs, octopus & brussels sprouts.Loved the bananna nutella. We had a great time, great service and great food. One of the reasons I am writting this is because our waitress was trying super hard to please our large loud table along with the many other tables she had . I believe they were either short staff or just didnt expect the place to be completely full on 4th of July. Either way, we are happy customers

My 2nd dinner in a few weeks at Revel & I have to say that this place is really growing on me. The food, service & ambiance make for a great combination. The timing and taste of the food has been perfect & the staff knows when to be at your table and when not to be. I've had both the grill octopus & wedge salad for starters and they were great. I've had the short ribs & osso Bucco for entrees and they were excellent too. Jim & Francine are wonderful hosts. Will definitely be back soon.
