  • "Must make a reservation and try this place if you have not been here! The filet was not only tender but the sauce on it made it scrumptious! For dessert, we had the special. It was a peach bread pudding with habanero infused vanilla sauce - I think. But no matter what it was, it was incredible. Let your taste buds have a party and try these two items. We'll definitely be back! Oh yah, the ice tea was also very tasty and refreshing."

  • "I really wanted to like this place, but I didn't love it. We were virtually ignored for at least 45 minutes to an hour and had to flag down waiters twice. Not good. The place is really loud. The food was good but not great. My entree was delicious but my salad was soggy. Then they didn't even bring a side dish we asked for. We decided we didn't care because it took too much effort to get it. I won't rush to go back."

  • "Sea bass was overcooked and soggy; ribs were good; crab cakes were 98% breading. Server seemed surprised and not thrilled with request for a taste of a by-the-glass wine she recommended. One couple ordered the Caesar salad to share; it was "artistically displayed", but definitely NOT a share-able portion size. I expect servers in restaurants that charge $30+ for an entree to share this info and recommend they order their own. It wasn't a horrible experience, but definitely not worth the drive or the money."

  • "The place is sort of less than, which I guess is okay, but the food prices are not in line with the limited interior. That would have been fine, but our server, while efficient and I guess professional, was basically dismissive and sarcastic, so the whole experience was odd. I got the feeling that this was the server's normal demeanor, not a bad night. But each of us at the table expressed that we did not feel at all welcome all evening. The food was good, but again, our server just made the whole thing weird."

  • "I was excited to try this place, but unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. First off, the restaurant was very loud. It's a small space so the people hanging out at the bar often overpowered the rest of the restaurant. I ordered the filet, medium, and when I received the filet it was rare. The waiter explained that the cooks didn't want to cook it any longer because the outside was getting charred and they didn't want it to burn. I may not be an expert chef, but isn't that what the oven is for? They took the meat back and cooked it a bit longer and it still was medium rare when returned. Moral of the story is that the food was alright, the drinks were good. I see this place as more of a happy hour hangout after work."

  • "The food was a little disappointing. The menu should have stated that the crab cakes were actually crab balls instead of cakes. Although, the sea bass was cooked perfectly, it was bland. However, there was a dribble of sauce around the plate to pep it up. The best part of the dining was our server Alyssa. She was adorable, perky, and helpful. The cheese/sausage plate was good. We enjoyed the refreshing specialty drink called Trinity 75, made of vodka, champagne, blackberries, and another ingredient that skips my mind. I think it would be a fun place to have drinks outside."

  • "Dined on a Saturday evening, peak time. Dining room was crowded and lots of servers but they seemed to be frantic to keep up with the large groups and balance them with the smaller ones. We had dined here before and the food was amazing. We ordered the same thing this time and the portions were noticeably smaller than before. The prices are mid to high but for what we got, inwould say over priced. The food tastes delicious though and maybe the small portions are to leave you wanting more??? Crab cakes app, and twisted chicken piccata are great! Also the corn pasta dish is good. Will go back."

  • "We started off with the seared wagyu beef and the horseradish tofu cream was a perfect compliment for the beef (just enough hint of horseradish as to not overpower the flavor of the beef). Right after our meals arrived, the chef stopped by to say hello and we thought that was a very nice touch. For our main dishes we ordered the filet and the pork shank and the sauce on the filet saved this entree. I could have eaten just about anything with this sauce but the filet itself wasn't what we expected. We were hoping for so much more and it was cooked med rare but we expected a better quality meat. On the other hand, the pork shank was amazing and you could just pull the meat off the bone. We're definitely hooked but we'll pass on the filet!"

  • "I was in town on business and deicded to go here for dinner with a friend. The food and service was excellent; however, there was a problem with flies. We could not enjoy our meal or finish our meal due to the number or flies swarming. After some time, I just gave in and let them have it. Something needs to be done about that. It ruins the ambiance and mood when you're constantly swatting your food. Sitting outstide, I expect it but we were inside the restaurant."

Food was outstanding both times and we tried different things to make sure the experience was across the board good on the menu. Service could be better. Female owner was available during first visit and she was wonderfully charming and was able to "sell the menu". Servers need to become more invested in their restaurant, it's a gold mine. Learn the menu and about the exec chef and sell the experience to all your guests. Overall, this is one if my new favorite restaurants in Dallas!"

  • "Our group enjoyed the delicious food...the BLTE burger was a stand out as well as the flat iron steak and eggs with mushrooms. It was cooked perfectly and the flavors worked together. The Bloody Mary bar had everything we could ask for! Wish our waiter had been more attentive; he was friendly, but not overly so and he was not very helpful with recommendations from the menu. Speaking of the menu, wish there were more choices for brunch. The menu items were very limited and when one person in our party asked for something off the regular menu the request was denied and the waitstaff did not suggest anything else. "

  • " Everything about our dining experience was fabulous. The weather was lovely. David, our server provided the BEST service possible. Each course was brought in a timely fashion so the food was still hot. The food was all delicious. We had the lobster corn dogs, pear salad, sea bass, and profiteroles with coffee for dessert. It's very difficult to get both your coffee hot and your dessert together. Restaurants always bring one before the other and the coffee is usually warm at best. David brought them together and the coffee was piping hot. We'll be back soon! Great dining experience. "
