food was tasty, but portions were ridiculously small (and overpriced, considering). very quiet foofy/stuffy restaurant. does have a view of lisbon, but it's kinda far removed from main part of the city so looks like a speck of lights (i.e. in reality view is just ok, nothing to write home about). staff tried to be accommodating

  • This restaurant is overrated

This restaurant is overrated and the waitstaff take themselves way too seriously. Did a tasting menu and it dragged on forever. Very nice view and food was very good. Considered one of the best restaurants in Lisbon. And why zero OpenTable points?

Great design went into the building, the location at the top of Edward VII park and the menu which is a very refined and high-end version of Portuguese cuisine. Can recommend an excellent lobster appetizer served in the traditional cataplana pan with peas and mint and from the entrees the suckling pig sided with fruit chutney was expertly balanced and prepared. Cheese cart has Portuguese and other cheeses and the wine list similarly combines both. Very good chocolate creme brulee for dessert. It does come at a price but our meal here was the best we had in a week in Portugal.

The food and ambiance were excellent, but the cost was disproportionately high. Nice, but not a good bargain

  • Beautifully situated on hill

Beautifully situated on hill above Parco Eduardo, below medieval high security prison. Decor modern, clean lines. Had tasting menu, unfortunately food rather bland, and uninspired. Salvaged by delicious cheese tray however, with detailed descriptions of provenance. Noisy only because seated beside 2 large groups. Sadly disappointed.

Amazing. Great view over Lisbon and great ambiance, service, and cuisine. Worth every penny (quite a few are required). Don't miss this place!

  • This was for our last night
    OpenTable Diner Since 2004

This was for our last night in Lisbon - very exclusive, very beautiful. And VERY DISAPPOINTING. The service was "in your face" - in a bad way, "hey, bring back my plate!", or on permanent break - the prices were way over the top, and the food could in no way make up for the first two problems. We spoke to the General Manager who could have cared less. So did the British couple, currently living in Portugal's Algarve, who were celebrating their first evening away from their newborn ... bitterly disappointing to them as well. This place is definitely NO ELEVEN - barely a 5!

  • We have been to numerous Michelin

We have been to numerous Michelin star restaurants this year, but Eleven beats them all, even the two and three starred. The food was excellent and didn't suffer from what we would define as Michelin star restrictions such as requirements for foie gras and truffle. The service was impeccable and the atmosphere was very relaxed and comfortable. Will definitely go again next time we're in Lisbon.
