The food is great and so is the atmosphere. Very large portions of some of the menu items...large enough to share. The restaruant is busy, but the service was very good. Our server was attentive and didn't let us sit too long without checking back on us.

I took my friend here to celebrate her 40th. It was a fun experience overall. Our reservation was on a Wednesday, and unfortunately we were late due to a closure on the strip and lots of detours. We called to let the restaurant know that we were going to be late & we were very pleased and appreciative that Serendipity was able to accommodate us. The highlight for us was being able to sit outside and right on the strip. Neat experience even for us LV locals.

Frozen hot chocolate was amazing. Service wasn't the best seemed a little understaffed. Great view of the strip for people watching or can sit inside for a fun atmosphere as well. Definitely get the nachos but stay clear of the quesadillas they were extremely cold and tasted pre made and microwaved.

We has high hopes as we are familiar to the new york original iced hot chocolate. Wait was fine (thanks open table), but it went pretty downhill from there. Had to speak to front desk to request for our server. It took 20 minutes for the serve come to our table. We ordered only one drink item and that took unusually long time as well. What we got was an overpriced watered-down green tea frappachino. Our server never returned with our water, so we left the table with the money without waiting for the bill. Don't bother wasting your time here & avoid at all cost.

Im sure the food is great...Unfortunately we left after being seated at the only table in direct sunlight and after asking our server if we could move we were told we'd have to go back inside and ask the hostess. So we asked the hostess and she was very rude and said no we can't move you (even though there were 5 open tables behind us)...we got up and left. The whole atmosphere seemed very unprofessional and unorganized. Its a shame, I had been wanting to try their food.

Very affordable for Las Vegas. The food was good, just not outstanding. I wish we would have had the appetite or reservation for dessert (which is what I believe they are known for) but it didn't work out which is not their fault. I had a very good time.

I had heard such great things about this place and having already been to the NYC location, I had great expectations. However the food was okay and not worth the amount of money we paid. I had the chicken alfredo, which I believe is a easy dish to prepare. The chicken had the mouth feel of rubber and was unpleasant. The sauce was fine and the garlic bread too was good. I am sure that if we were to get the frozen hot chocolate or some other sweet treat, it would hold up to it's reputation.

Truly a gem. Ate there for my Best-friends birthday and we had an incredible time. As two people who have eaten EVERYWHERE: we were beyond delighted. The food was amazing, the service was top notch, and the drinks were the best we had the whole trip. The decor is super girly and cute, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Great for lunch or dinner before you go out.

  • A Taste of New York in Las Vegas
    BroadwayFanVIP
    Dined on 3/5/2013
Having grown up in New York City, the original Serendipity is an old familiar stand-by. This new restaurant located right on the Las Vegas Strip, feels like everything else in Vegas: bright lights and bold colors, but you always know that it's a fake version and a hollow facsimile of an original. The food here is just so-so, but thankfully the portions are large and not too salty, and of course the desserts are the standout, and certainly what brings in the crowds.

They have ice cream (actually....frozen hot chocolate)...what more do I need to say? We headed here for dessert and it was just perfect. The portion sizes are huge, we split the "small" bananna split and it was still too much for two people. The service was super fun and really good and the atmosphere is very energetic. It was too chilly to sit outside and eat ice cream - but I'm sure sitting on their patio would be awesome. You must visit when in Vegas!

Always a great place to eat! I love their salmon! Best salmon I've ever had and completely worth the bill. Only down side to the whole place is the cramped in door seating and the noise level, but I also realize it kind of comes with the territory. The staff is always great and friendly. My husband and I will keep coming back!

Since my stay in Vegas I have been to Serendipity three times in order to try different items on the menu. I liked the menu selections although I think a few more dinner options would be nice. I liked the onion rings and the dessert options and I liked the view from the patio. The servers were all nice and provided good service. I expected a bit more of the ambiance, the outside of the restaurant is nice but the inside decor is a bit drab and childish. I enjoyed the pizza but the Monte Carlo grilled chicken sandwich was a tad dry, if there was some sort of sauce other than barbecue sauce, maybe something creamy and garlic based would have made it better but I liked the arugula in the sandwich. The restaurant doesn't have any parking

We sat outside on the terrace, it was a great spot for people watching along the strip. They served amazing comfort food! I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup, which was perfect and my wife ordered the foot long hot dog, really good, too big to finish! We topped it all off with a frozen hot chocolate, their claim to fame, which was delicious! Defiantly worth making a reservation with open table, we only waited about 5 minutes, otherwise the wait was an hour.

The food was terrible. I've had fast food that was better than the food here. We had a party of 2 and ordered the ceasar salad which was not chopped but rather left on the plate in full leafs drenched in too much dressing and soggy. It was no better than picking the salad out of a garbage bin. The pasta was cold and hard and the chicken wings were overly cooked to the point the inside was dry and hard. The service was slow and terrible. We got sat at around 6:15pm, when we sat down we had advised our waitress that we had to be out of the restaurant by no later than 8pm as we had a flight to catch. The food items that we ordered should not have taken long but the food did not arrive until 45 mins to 1 hour later.

Ate twice at this very busy restaurant - truncating the wait at lunch when seats opened up at the VERY small bar. Great food for both meals. Had dinner outside - quieter though it overlooks the strip in Las Vegas. I was there in February and they had heaters outside to keep off the cool weather so we could be comfortable outside. The frozen hot chocolate is a great dessert drink for two. Service was not the best. Food very good, great variety.
