Landmark Americana City Line is across the street from Saint Joseph's Hagan Arena and does a great job handling the pregame crowds. The place is full of alumni of all ages it is the equivalent of indoor tailgating . Large portions and good food with a huge variety of specialty brews make this a great spot. They also have daily specials on food and drink as well as entertainment. Plenty of TV's to watch games too.

Landmark is a great spot for casual dining. Excellent choice of craft beers. Servers are pleasant and efficient. For pregame- get there 2hrs before game time for food. Glad to have this great spot at SJU!

Landmark Americana - City Line is a very good local bar and grille. The restaurant is very energetic, especially on St. Joseph's University Basketball game nights. You will certainly need a reservation if you are planning on eating here before the big game as the restaurant is right across the street from Hagan Arena (Hawk Hill). The food is good with some twists on your typical bar food. The service is friendly and the prices are comparable to other bars in the area.

I took my niece who is a college student at SJU here for dinner and found the place to have an excellent selection of beers and a full and diverse menu. The food was excellent. The waitress was good considering she was in training. I would definitely come back and I recommend it to anyone although I would hesitate to bring small children since it does get frequented by a large number of college students.

  • It is great to have a restaurant
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012

It is great to have a restaurant to have a meal and drink before a Hawks basketball game and I've had other meals at Landmark (non-basketball nights) at which the food is good. The service is always, however, terrible -- and perhaps they are too new, training staff. The restaurant was packed. Few waiters. Had to wait to get beer while they washed glasses. Had to wait for water too. Food was almost inedible.

Great location for pre-game meal prior to Hawks Hoop game. Make your reservations in advance, as game the game day wait is longggg.... Seated right away, service pretty good considering number of people in the restaurant, food above average quality and decent value. Beer specials are a great idea.

  • I was invited to Landmark

I was invited to Landmark by my husband who was going there to support his student. When we arrived, I learned it was a great Jazz band setup (student band) that was performing while people sat and ate. That part of the experience I loved. However, the space to view the band was small, and our reservation couldn't guarentee a table near the band. Once the band was finished, we arrived back to our table and from there the evening went downhill fast. The service was slow and not attentive at all. It took several minutes to get water, then even longer for our food order to come out. Overall, the food was good, but the service makes us not want to return to this restaurant.

The reason I only gave three stars on the service question was because after 15 minutes on NO SERVICE I had to go to the hostess desk to ask for a waitess. After we got our waitess she was great.

What a find! Just off City Ave, this restaurant offers a varied menu with well prepared and attractively presented food which the three of us gobbled down with great joy and enthusiasm. Although too noisy for a romantic evening, it is more the "fun night out." The wings are just 50 cents on Tuesday and they pleased even the Syracuse grad in our group. Every day they offer a special and there is a generous happy hour. The adult version of grilled cheese hit home and the garlic truffle french fries brought tears of happiness. My Cobb Salad was fresh and crispy with an ample chicken breast cut on top. Televisions abound for sports enthusiasts and there is a bar section separate from the dining area. We expect to return often.

The food was line up was solid, with ample portion sizes and unique takes on traditional staples (the grown up grilled cheese was AMAZING). Service was quick, the restaurant was super clean, great for the casual dinner or the sports fan. The only complaint would be the lack of natural light in the actual dining areas...it was different.
