Had heard good things about a(MUSE), but was blown away by the experience on my first visit. It was an outstanding dining experience from beginning to end! The menu is creative and playful, but most importantly the food is delicious. I will definitely make it a regular dining stop whenever in the Rehoboth Beach area.

The food and the service were excellent. The server knew the menu in-depth and was able to answer all questions, as well as, make very good suggestions. The ambiance was simple. yet comfortable. The entire dining experience was one to be repeated. However, if there could be suggetions for improvement there be only two. One, put a carpet on the floor to absorb the noise and Two, kill the music. People go to dine and have conversation. With the loud rock music playing in the back ground, it makes conversation next to impossible. I go the a restuaurant to dine, not listen to a rock concert. Just turn the music off and do your patrons a favor.

Entrees and appetizers were very good, but desserts sounded better than the actuality. My peach dessert prepared small slices or cores of a peach in different ways. But the peach was hard, and I couldn't taste any distinction from one to another. The rose gel on one slice was totally flavorless; you could not tell it was rose. I make grilled and broiled peaches at home and mine are vastly better, yet without the complex concept at Amuse. I once had a dessert there made with nitrogen-infused marshmallow, turning it into brittle chunks. Absolutely without merit, but it sounds creative. Save the creativity for things that benefit the food, not trick it up. That said, I did return for a second meal and I'd be willing to try it again.

Chef Henri is a genius!! Everything went together perfectly. All the flavors and textures of the food were blended together beautifully. We had the suggested wine pairing with the Dine Out Rehoboth 3 course meal and the selections really complemented the food wonderfully. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I just hope whenever everyone figures out how fantastic the food is, I can still get a table there without booking weeks in advance.

Such a great little gem! My husband and I went for a special anniversary dinner and had the tasting menu (6 courses). We were not disappointed by any! The dishes were unique, inventive, and fabulously well-balanced. The duck scrapple with seared fois gras and apple butter was simply amazing. Chef Cameron's combinations were inspired and beautifully presented. Highly recommended!

Before delving into the review of my experience at a(Muse.), I'd like to provide a brief backdrop. I live and work in Rehoboth at an upscale hotel as the concierge of the property. a(Muse.) opened their doors at the beginning of the season and I have sent many guests there and they always returned with rave reviews. After the busy season that was summer of 2012, I picked a midweek night to finally venture out to a(Muse.) to find out for myself. Hands down, this was one of the best meals in my life. Of course I love some home cooking, but this? This was an adventure through truly imaginative and inspired food. I opted for the 11-course tasting in an attempt to immerse myself in all a(Muse.) has to offer. Chef Hari Cameron and his crew did

Oh, my! Just my second visit to aMuse. Even more impressed than I was the first time (doesn't seem possible). Incredible food, lovely atmosphere. The potted chicken is to die for...the soft shell crab is just as it was meant to be...crisp on the outside and moist and creamy on the inside. Had the bleu cheese to dessert..who would think that bleu cheese could be such a delightful dessert? Crisp, refreshing and a perfect ending to a perfect meal. Our waitperson was delightful and knowledgeable. Thank you so much man-whose-name-I'm-ashamed-to-admit-I-can't-remember. In a word..WOW!

The service was horrible. The hostess would not allow us to sit near the window, yet we watched those 2 window tables remain open for almost an hour. I asked to substitute potatoes for another vegetable and was told they can subtract, but not sure about substitute. After 5 minutes, the waiter returned & was pleased to tell me they had extra potatoes for me. The last and most egregious part of our experience was about 2 minutes after our dessert plates were removed from the table, while we were finishing our dessert wines, the hostess came to our table and offered us a free drink if we would go to the bar because they needed the table. We were offended to say the least and left.

On both of our recent visits the food was excellent. Interesting combinations of fresh ingredients, creatively and very well prepared. But the odd strategy of, "We are all your servers" wherein you have one waitperson introduce him/herself as your primary contact, but ostensibly the whole team is available to wait on you ends up meaning nobody's taking responsibility. Or at least in our case, especially on our second visit this translated into super long waits for everything from taking our order to delivering our food and drinks. But once management works out this kink this will be a super dinig destination.

a(Muse), recently opened in downtown Rehoboth Beach to instant success and acclaim, and for good reason. Hari Cameron’s restaurant is a temple to local, sustainable, and flavorful food. The small plates that dominate the menu will attract even the pickiest eater. The “potted chicken,” for example, is sublime—and unlike any potted chicken I have ever tasted (Hari’s version includes fois gras). The libations are imaginative as well. Like its sister (brother?) restaurant, Nage, a(Muse)employs a staff that is both knowledgeable and friendly. Chris, a former Nage waitstaffer, is particularly welcoming and professional--both at the same time. I look forward to many excellent meals at a(Muse). I just hope there will always be room for me.

Very nice effort from a Nage alum. Food pitched a bit higher than rock-solid Nage, sometimes the effort shows and their reach exceeds their grasp. Family of 4 dined on 17 Aug 12. Kids 7 and 10 at the adventurous end of the spectrum. 7 yo was starving when we arrived. Bread was in the oven & couldn't hit the table immediately. Before melt down, his Egg in a Hole appeared; just afterwards, the bread. Success #1, disaster averted! His main course (and 2 more to share) was tomato soup: big hit all round. We had 2 Day Boats (they loved the scallops) and 1 chicken (very good.) A Yelp review got my taste buds primed for the chicken which was as moist and tender as billed, not as crisp. Loved the Lavender but not the peach dessert.

Wonderful food preparation and presentation; however, service was spotty at best. I ordered a bottle of Ferrari-Carano Chardonnay and was served a bottle of Ferrari-Carano Fume Blanc. The server presented the bottle so quickly that I only checked the name and the year which was 2011 instead of the 2010 listed on the wine list. In fact I think she had her hand over the bottom of the label where it listed the grape variety. We each drank about half a glass before we realized that this wasn't a Chardonnay. Server couldn't rectify the situation, saying I had tasted the wine. After several discussions with the hostess, they removed the charge from the bill. Less than pleasant wine experience, and the restaurant didn't feel it was their error.
