The restaurant is beautiful. The bar scene is excellent. We were seated at a short 4 top in the bar area, not a table in the dining room. Not sure how you get those. There was barely enough room at the table for our plates. Food was very good. Authentic greek.

So excited about this new place! Everything was wonderful... Food, service, decor! The fresh fish was perfect. We tried most of the appetizers across the table and were very pleased. Desserts were the cherry on top. We went on a warm night and could sit outside which is beautiful.

You must go. I look for excellent food, beautiful ambience and a sturdy wine selection. This place has it in spades. The grilled Octopus was phenominal paired with a bright Santorino. The mussels were also good and the crab cake didn't disappoint but the octopus was out of this wrold. It sits right on the harbor and has beautiful decor is fresh blues and whites, with almost a seaglass feel.

Walking into Ouzo Bay, the scene is like nothing else in Baltimore. I feel like I'm on a mini vacation, with an open floor plan and great lighting separating the space into comfortable vignettes while still having a cohesive, inviting feel. The food is impeccable Greek cuisine, sticking to the traditional method of simple seasoning and only the freshest ingredients. My favorite menu option is the whole grilled fish selection. The fresh fish display does not disappoint, you can taste the quality in every bite. For appetizers I highly recommend the avogolemono soup, octopus and grilled langostinas. Ask Julian for cocktail/wine suggestions, he is extremely knowledgeable. And don't forget to top off your meal with a baklava by the pastry chef!

  • First Impression

One's first impression is of a comfortable elegance ambiance set by the open indoor-outdoor dining space, by the multiplicity of subdued lights and by the warm textured walls. This carried through to the food and service. The octopus appetizer was beautifully grilled and the lamb entrees beautifully prepared, but almost over shadowed by the presentation and taste of the pastry deserts. An experience to return to.

My experience at ouzo bay is very mixed. The server was kind and knowledgeable but service itself was slow. My wine glass was empty most of the time as I waited for the serve to retrieve our bottle from 3 tables away. The food was great, but with the exception of the octopus nothing was outstanding as you would expect at such high prices. The outdoor seating was fantastic but the majority of it looked out at a parking lot. The decor was fabulous and modern. I especially liked the lighting fixtures. So yes I would go back but it wouldn't be my first choice. I guess it's hard to complete ith Samos' food which is cheap, plentiful and just like yia ya's, but ouzo bay can not be matched for it's atmosphere. So yes my opinion is mixed.

The food was absolutely delicious and offered a well rounded menu that all could enjoy. The wine list was extensive and the staff very knowledgable about each individual wine. The staff was also very accommodating and went the extra mile to make the experience enjoyable. Cannot wait to go back!

My husband and I had a delicious dinner on a Thursday night. The appetizers, salads, main courses and dessert were all perfection. The restaurant is gorgeous with all the walls open to the harbor overlooking the marina and the boats it feels like you are on vacation. We can't wait to return. I already made reservations for a Saturday night in the future.

I think this is the best new thing in town. Love both the bar and the food and the interior is incredible. I will be a regular - that's for sure. Bar service is great and friendly. Table service needs some work.

This is a new restaurant and felt as such. The service was not bad, but the wait staff did still seem to be working out some kinks in the system. The food was mixed, appetizers (mussels and zucchini chips) were quite good while the main course (lobster tails) were over cooked. The atmosphere was pleasant, but the bar had all of the sliding doors open to the outside, which while providing a nice breeze, also let the noise from a carnival being set up a couple of blocks away drown out any hope of carrying on a conversation while the carnival blared loud music. I would give this one a couple of months to work out the kinks then maybe give it another shot.

I have waited for this restaurant to open. I love Greek food. The restaurant has a great setting. The decor is very well done. However, I was somewhat disappointed in the food. The food was not bad, it just didn't measure up to the venue. I started with the Avgolemono soup. I found it to be too thick and somewhat starchy. I then had the octopus. It had a very good taste, but the octopus should have been more tender. on the other hand, my wife had the chicken kabob and really enjoyed her meal. I am going to attribute the food faults to still getting things right in the kitchen, so I will give Ouzo Bay another chance. I so want this to be a good Greek restaurant.

I feel thus Greek restaurant run by a family involved with this business did very poorly. I understand it has only been open a few weeks. Our meal took about two hours to come to the table. The first two appetizers arrived within half hour of us sitting and the Greek salad took about forty minutes after that. One of the young owners came over to ask if everything was well and I commented that our food was taking a very long time. He never returned to our table. I did catch him watching from a short distance a few times. The food was extremely salty. The bronzino was excellent. I noticed people who knew the owners coming in and getting their food right away with wonderful service. I wish I them. Go to Mezze! Better!,

This is a new restaurant that just opened in Harbor East. As expected, the cuisine seems to overlap with Lebanese Taverna a few doors down, although it does offer a slightly more "greek-centric" menu. the food was good. It was well cooked and just what we'd expected. The Zucchini chips were delicious. Similar to Black Olive they have a "fish section" where you're allowed to go visually inspect the fresh fish they have available. The service was good, (especially considering it's just opened). One thing we liked was that they offer "half" glasses of wine. The only drawback is the price. While the food was good, it was quite simply overpriced for what it was (both quantity and quality).

My husband and I really enjoyed the delicious foods with friends. The lamb was succulent and the lobster was so worth the cost! Also the lemon herb potatoes were awesome. The staff and overall service was outstanding. Amy, our waitress was professional and a sheer delight. Alex the owner, provided us with VIP attention. We will definitely place Ouzo Bay in our top ten places to dine. Despite it being day 2, the place ran like a well oiled machine. I can't wait to return!!!!!

I visited right after they opened and so they were working through opening week. I thought the food was pretty good but also very expensive for the portions. I did like that they can open up the entire restaurant to the street. It makes it a very romantic place.
