  • My First Michelin Star Experience.

It was profound. I'm a recent graduate from culinary college and have never had the chance to enjoy fine dining at its best. Canada has no Michelin stars yet and I am only 23 years old. I was extremely excited for this. At times I can be a fussy eater but every single bite of food was simply exquisite. The ambiance and decor are divine and plush. The tables are few and the rooms are intimate. You can hear your neighbours on either side of you but it was nothing but pleasant. You are sitting at a table for a few hours, why not share the experience with some wonderful conversation? Each table has a purse stool! The maitre d', servers, runners and hostess were all extremely friendly and helpful. I felt luxurious in every sense, so pampered!

This is an outstanding dining experience. We enjoyed the Menu A with two appetizers, two main courses, and dessert. With the bread cart, cheese cart, pastry cart selections, and amuse bouche in addition we were well satisfied. The staff is very attentive and the smaller rooms feel intimate for a very romantic evening. We decided to travel to Las Vegas just to dine here and we were not disappointed.

This restaurant is expensive but it does not disappoint. The service is impeccable. The food is creative and tasty. The atmosphere is decadent. We especially enjoyed the amazing selection of the bread cart as well as the petit fours at the end, all made in house, beautifully presented and something for every taste. Especially outstanding was the appetizer Le Caviar, and the beet gazpatcho amuse bouche. Also very wonderful is the chance to tour the kitchen at the end of the meal and met the executive chef! Enjoy!

We were absolutely delighted with this restaurant from the minute we walked through the door. The food was incredible as was the service. Our only criticism was of the sommelier who didn't appear to have a huge amount of knowledge of the wines we wanted advice on. A truly amazing experience as a special treat whilst on holiday.

Food at Joel Robuchon is very good, but not great Don't be fooled by the Michelin stars like I was. Only go if you prefer fame over food. It's old-fashioned and there are better, cheaper places in Vegas. Service: The hostess went from aloof to sycophantic, after seeing the nice label in my husband's coat. It's very offensive to be judged that way. Pierre Gagnaire (another 3 star) in Paris was far less snobby! Food: I had the langoustines, It was 90s french-asian fusion. Tasty but uninspired. Served with potato puree? It may have been innovative, before everyone had a high speed blender at home. They brag about it as they serve it! Honestly it's almost funny. Pros: Desserts were stunning. Incredible presentation and great ambiance.

It couldn't have been a more spectacular celebration for Lori Ann's 50th birthday! The food was beautiful and delicious. We were also amazed and impressed with the bread cart, the cheese cart, and the finale sweets cart. The service was impeccable, and the decor exquisite. It's not a place I can afford very often, but it was truly an unparalleled experience in dining, and if we make it to Tokyo for the Olympics, we'll have to try one of Robuchon's other restaurants. Hard to believe this is his only restaurant in the U.S. And the surprise birthday cake they made for Lori Ann was deeply appreciated. To top that off, as we were leaving they gave us a delicious lemon cake to take home!!! Thank you Joel Robuchon!

The ambience was great as was the service. It was obvious that quite a bit of effort had gone into the details: great art, décor, Baccarat hooded-candlestick on the table, etc. The waitstaff was very friendly and extremely professional. The food was very good but, for the price, the portions were quite small which is my only criticism. I'm not the typical American wanting a pound of over-sauced pasta, for instance, but do wish to feel that an entrée priced at over $100 should be more than can fit in a child's cereal bowl. Dinner for two with at $169 per person (amuse bouche, appetizer, entrée, desert selection) plus cocktails, 1/2 bottle of wine, and port ended up costing, with tax and tip, about $324 per person.

Everything is extremely perfect you might find the staff too servicial if you are not use to it Even the butter is custom made just for them The food is extremelly good you might eat a couple of flavors or textures you are not normally used to it The desserts were to die for If you want to live the complete experience make sure to be very hungry and try the 14 course menu It changes every day or maybe share it with our love one You might find it a bit over price 450 each menu but you can go as low as 600 for 2 with wine plus tip and taxes 31%

Did the degustation menu, aka the big one. And while several of the 16 courses featured some of the best versions of those things I'd ever had, and while many of the preparations were inventive and subtle, and exhibited real mastery in thought and execution, it somehow left us (my wife and I) wanting, just a touch. Maybe it was the price point. Maybe at 1/4 the cost, it would have been as satisfying as most 5-star restaurants we've experienced. Again, there WERE things like the chocolate souffle which are almost always just average elsewhere, but here... divine. Absolute perfection (didn't know it was possible!). And yes, that's worth something. But when tax + tip are more expensive than a place like Osteria Mozza, you kinda have to shrug.

overall the experience was lovely however very over priced if you want a miniscule portion for $200 set meal consisting of 1 appetizer and 1 main meal and some bread and sweets. not worth the money but a nice experience.

My wife and I spent a romantic evening at Joel Robuchon in the MGM Grand to celebrate our anniversary. This without a doubt the best that we have ever had. We were expecting to be underwhelmed, especially after having enjoyed a sublime lunch at Thomas Keller's The French Laundry 3 days prior. Where Keller's flavors were clean, fresh and spotlighted the quality of the seasonal ingredients, Robuchon's dishes seemed slightly more inventive and with a greater melding of flavors. Case in point: Robuchon's spaghetti with sea urchin, soft-boiled egg, and caviar...or his amuse of corn soup with duck and marshmallows. This is not meant to be a Keller vs Robuchon review, as both restaurants are surely worthy of your visit at least once in your life.

This was the most wonderful dining experience I've ever had (my wife also loved it, but wasn't as enthralled as I was). Every bite was lovingly prepared, elegantly presented & a delight for all senses. The staff are great & the room is beautiful (we were on the "patio", which was fabulous). JR's right there with Alinea, Fat Duck, Taillevent, French Laundry, Vetri etc - you cant do better!

The best meal I've ever had. It was truly an amazing, unique, and special experience. While hard to imagine that anything could top the quality and taste of the food, the service was actually even better - the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, perfectly attentive, and welcoming which made the evening a very special one for my wife and me.
