My dining experience at Le Cirque was absolutely amazing. From the delicious and delicate flavors of the food, to the whimsical plating , to the attentive service - it really is a 5-star restaurant. My only gripe is the seating and noise level at the restaurant. It's a small space inside the Bellagio--with great view of the fountains--but the tables are closely fitted together. We can definitely hear other people's conversations and the server nearly skinned himself while trying to serve us and the table next to us.

I can't say enough about how good the food was. This restaurant is on the main floor of the Bellagio and we had a table by the windows so every fifteen minutes we got to see the wonderful fountains. This is a great date spot or for any romantic occasion!

The restaurant is small, loud and the servers are rushing you to turn tables or go home early. I have never experience a so called Michelin starred restaurant rush the service. Food was good, but the pompous servers detracted from the experience. Will not recommend or return.

  • My expectations for Le Cirque
    AKCuisineVIP
    Dined on 12/15/2012
My expectations for Le Cirque were high, and both the floor staff and kitchen fully delivered with an amazing meal and a memorable evening. Definitely go with the dégustation menu rather than a la carte, and do opt for the lovely wine pairings. Exemplary service from the wait staff and sommelier at Le Cirque is professional and attentive without feeling at all intrusive. I was surprised when the waiter brought a lovely amuse bouche of uni with lemon grass gelée and a fennel puree. It was sublime, as was my actual starter of snow crab with turnip, apple, avocado and pomegranate. Sautéed foie gras with pear confit and a salty caramel sauce was delicate and well balanced, as was the Alaskan black cod with citrus and coconut nage. A gem!

We dined at Joel Robuchon two nights earlier and expected this to be the second best dinner we had. It was the best. The pre fixe dinners with wine pairing just plain worked. The sommalier did a great job with the pairings and the choices for the dinners were enough that we both loved what we picked. The Waygu beef had an upcharge and was worth it. Decor is the same as when we last dined there 8 years ago, but it still elegant and romantic. Service was impeccable. The only downside is that there is no dresscode. Most men had ties, but there were several tables with men in jeans and t-shirts and one with a ballcap. Huh? Didn't ruin the experience but c'mon people, pay attention.

We had stayed at the Bellagio for four nights and put our reservation in 2 months in advance for this restaurant. Needless to say, they sat us at an undesirable table whilst only one other table was occupied in the dining room, and frankly felt that we were treated poorly, even though we ended up spending over $600 for dinner. The waiter was very polite, but, the French manager(?) seemed very put off our presence until we ordered a $300 bottle of rose champagne. We were dressed nice as we had tickets to go to a concert later that evening. Given the money and quality, I would suggest eating at Circo.

Everything about Le Cirque is exceptional. This is a restaurant that appreciates its customers and provides outstanding attentive service and well executed, delicious food. My husband and I enjoyed the 5 course tasting menu with the premium wine paring. The food is wonderful and the portion sizes for a 5 course were perfect. The food is visually stunning and the flavors do no disappoint. The wine parings were spot on and a little bit surprising. We especially enjoyed drinking the light red with our fish courses. The sommelier was wonderful, coming over throughout the evening to explain each wine and the background of the winery. Our experience at Le Cirque was worth every penny. This is a restaurant worth checking out. Highly recommend!

A beautiful restaurant overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. When you want a romantic dinner, be sure to ask for a table at one of the windows. Food and wine are exquisite and the menu has some unusual dishes (e.g. the sea urchin) and beautiful deserts (e.g. the boule de sucre). The service is what you would expect from a restaurant with a Michelin star. We would have appreciated the wine pairing with half glasses, as is fairly common in similar restaurants in Europe. The end of our dinner seemed a bit rushed, though.

We had been waiting a very long time to dine at Le Cirque and unfortunately, we were utterly disappointed with the food and service! We ordered the Degustation menu and everything was bland and underwhelming! After waiting over 35 minutes for our second course, the waiter chose to embarass the food runner by saying that this is not Greece, we pay taxes and the food needs to arrive more timely! For the price, we prefer Guy Savoy, Joel Robuchon or even McDonalds!

The price for what you receive on your plate are way out of line. $140 for a piece of beef the size of the palm of you hand. Go to Outback. No restaurant is worth the prices charged here. The Eiffel Tower, Stratosphere revolving restaurant, Kokomo's, Emeril's and on and on are a much better meal/value.

BEST dining experience of our lives & we are VERY experienced diners. Food & service were flawless. Food was delicious, beautifully presented, reasonably portioned. Service was attentive without being intrusive; professional without being stuffy. The room was small, cozy; it was full but somehow still quiet. Attention to detail: bringing black napkins so the white napkins did not lint my black dress; offering both salted & unsalted butter. We already ordered a bottle of red wine for our entrees; I wanted a glass of white for our appetizer; I asked for something similar to Prosecco; he offered a sparkling California wine; but, said that if I really wanted the Prosecco, he would be happy to go out and get it for me; can you believe it?
