A word from NORTH Arcadia
North is offering a prix fixe menu and accepting reservations this Valentines Day! Please visit our website to view the menu and contact the restaurant directly to save your seat. We hope you will join us! Thanks, North
We’ve turned a modern lens on traditional Italian cooking. North Italia is our love letter to Italy—a place that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped off a charming side street to discover a culinary gem. After a decade in business, we’ve learned a thing or two and we’re approaching perfection in the art of handmade pasta and pizza. Every day, we start from scratch to create dishes like Strozzapreti with Bloomsdale spinach or supple ribbons of tagliatelle for our Bolognese. Our pizza is a revelation: an airy, barely chewy center embraced by a perfectly crisp crust. With the spirit of the Italian taverna, North is the place to talk shop over a cocktail or swap gossip sharing delectable chef creations.Every neighborhood would be lucky to have a place like North.

North Arcadia is fantastic - a really great concept, you feel you are in an Italian farmhouse and get to watch the chef staff creating the fresh pastas and meals. I highly recommend it and visit the sister restaurant at Kierland which has undergone some major updates to the restaurant as well as menu. Another hit out of the park for Fox Concepts.

Great food and pricing. I really like the layout and open kitchen area. The seating area was a little warm during the summer.

I brought a friend here for his birthday - it was his request, and I'm so glad! What a wonderful meal and a wonderful time we had. We sat outdoors, and it was an unusually rainy/cloudy/breezy day. Such a perfect escape from the typical Phoenix summer days! Our food was great - we shared a margherita pizza and the pork belly dish, with farro and spinach instead of lentils and sofrito to accomodate for some food allergies. We also had the crispy chickpeas and they were SO GOOD we had to order seconds! Delicious stuff! Our server was very attentive and knew the menu well, answering our detailed questions about ingredients and how things were cooked, without skipping a beat. I think both of us agreed that we'll definitely return to NoRth!

The service was really good and the ambiance was good. The food was average. They were having issues with the pizza dough so there was no pizza. I think when cooler sitting outside in the late afternoon for a drink and an appetizer would be nice even though you are almost onto the road .... you do car watching instead of people watching. We did make the mistake of parking the car across the road and came out at 9.30 to find our car towed so it was an expensive evening. I guess from talking to the chef from another restaurant that there is no love lost between the landlord of the grocery store and the owners of North. Be aware of this and valet your car at the restaurant it is the cheaper option.

We are long time supporters of any Fox Restaurant not only because we know Sam Fox but because the food and service is always exceptional. Until tonight when we went to North Arcadia. Everything was fine until the desert. First the waitress got the order wrong and delivered one of two deserts claiming the second desert would be sent over in minutes. Second, we waited 35 minutes for the second desert which never arrived - finally we had enough. Our waitress assured us we were not charged for the second desert but we were. No one came to the table to apologize or offer to correct the bill. This was the worst service we have ever had at a Fox Restaurant and I am hoping it was an anomaly.

Loved the happy vibe of the restaurant and the menu was outstanding. For the most part, our food was great and the service was pleasantly attentive. The only criticism was that my ricotta gnocci was SWIMMING in butter. It was a rich dish to begin with and the excess butter was off-putting.

Occasionally you look at a menu or listen closely to the off-menu specials and a combination clicks. That's what happened on my first visit to NORTH Arcadia. An octopus appetizer with crispy fried potatoes and a few other things was a taste treat unlike anything I have ever eaten. That preceeded by a beet salad with shaved cheese and walnut created the perfect light dinner.

Went to North for our Anniversary Dinner on a Thursday. It was not too crowded so it was not too loud but I can see the volume going up on a weekend. It was very open and bright, a little more casual than I had expected. The food was excellent, the calimari appetizer was so unique and true italian we loved it! Also a favorite was the bread and cheese, heavenly! My husband an I both had pasta, (the pesto and the shortrib) both wonderful and the desserts were fun too, loved the serving in a jar idea. We will be back, a great place to go with friends.

Food, staff, drink, ambience - North Fattoria Italiana gets it right! I could eat lunch and dinner here every day and never get tired of North's take on rustic Italian food. My perfect meal: Steamed mussels, Bucatini with sausage, and a Quiet Italian Gentleman. Or a Chef's Board, Chicken & Prosciutto, and a Ducati. With a Pig to go...

We arrived a bit early for our reservation and were asked to have a seat at the bar until the table was ready. Tables seemed to be kept empty for a longer period of time than quick turn-overs at other restaurants. The bartender was very nice and funny. We were seated as a table for 4, including glass placement after we got there, even though our reservation was only for 2. We did not have to wait long for our food and my dining partner enjoyed his italian beer and his “Pig” pizza. My rigatoni was a bit too spicy, but was at the proper temperature. The restaurant was very lively, bordering on noisy. Parking seemed extremely tight.
