  • Great anniversary!

A fine reputation and well deserved! Dinner was a pure culinary delight and an absolute gem to celebrate our anniversary. A charming historic inn that is busy with locals and tourists alike. We started off the with the mussels....delicious and tasted just like we were on the coast of Maine. I had the duck breast and my husband had swordfish with a tomato & dill fresco. For dessert we shared an amazing berry crisp with a local ice cream. Our server was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and the menu.We will definitely be back again!

The Dorset Inn is getting by on its past reputation. Our dinner was unremarkable at best especially for the price. My wife's duck was overcooked, my pasta special was something I could easily have cooked at home. On the positive side, our server was friendly and attentive and we were able to sit outside which is an idyllic setting for a meal.

Lovely setting. Typically representative of a Vermont Inn. Service was perfect and very accommodating. We enjoyed our meal and the ambience. The fresh vegetables were perfect. We were two of eight. We asked for a round table and it was set for us upon arrival.

Great place for a special night to celebrate! My husband loved the turkey croquettes. A birthday cake I ordered in advance was beautifully decorated and so delicious!
