Everything about our meal was amazing. The service was impeccable. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. It was our first visit to Amada and he took us through the entire menu and made recommendations, which were spot on for what we were looking for. We were completely stuffed at the end of the meal but just wanted to continue eating. Highly recommend to anyone!

First off the service at Revel is top notch! Second being extremely unfamilar with this place the wonderful server Wences was right on top and helped my girlfriend and I with the entire menu, third and finally the food was top notch and didn't leave us full, wonderful throughout.

  • My second time eating at Amada.

My second time eating at Amada. Just not a fan of this fare! I tried it twice because the first time I had the Chef Selections I thought well maybe I was unlucky with his or choices. This time I made my own and hated it! The hostess also sat us 8 feet in front of the entertainers performing Flamenco. They were great, but we didnt enjoy them in our ear the whole dining experience! Too loud to enjoy any conversation. There were plenty of tables open, and we were seated before they started. I asked the server if she had any other tables away from stage and she said no... Didn't care to accommodate and move our table bc she was probably worried about her tip! I love every other Jose Garces restaurant! Just not Amada

Had the $75/person chefs tasting menu and it was worth every penny. 4 courses that had 3-4 dishes per course. Loved every morsel I tasted. Unique and fun. You get to use your hands and lots of sauces and condiments that come to the table with different foods. Cannot say a bad thing about it. The view is amazing, right on the water but also on the perimeter of the busy casino floor.

Food and service were both excellent. Only problem is the chairs at the tables were incredibly uncomfortable. We moved to a booth as the restaurant wasn't crowded. The booth was comfortable with a great view but once the summer comes that won't be possible.

Fantastic Food and yet I doubt we would ever go back. While I hate to pass judgement while they are obviously still getting the kinks out, a few things are not subject to a young age and others are not likely to change. We ordered the wine pairing to complement the wonderful chef tasting menu. Again, the food was impeccable but with the exception of the first glass, we had to remind the waiter for every subsequent pour and each time it would arrive after the food was gone. Loud, loud joint (both canned and live music) as well as the patrons. AC restaurants have their share of rowdy bachelor/ette parties but the nature of a shared menu and open space makes these particularly overwhelming.

We had an amazing dinner at Amada for my Parents' anniversary. The small tapas style plates are perfect for everyone. The food was amazing and the waiter was extrememly knowledgeable. The view of the Atlantic Ocean from the entire restaurant is incredible and makes you forget where you are. I would go here again and again.

  • A touch of Spain in A.C.
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 4/21/2012
Overall, if someone had not had a previous experience at a Garces restaurant, I believe they would be pleased with the ambience (rustic yet modern, dim candlelight, exposed bulbs, the best ocean view in Revel), service (friendly, knowledgeable staff), and food experience. We started with olives and tortilla espanola (very close to what my family makes in Spain). We tried the langosta for the first time, but were disappointed; it was a bit underdone. Other staples that were spot on were the albondigas (reminiscent of Spain), the short rib flatbread, grilled chorizo, and the aged manchego (too dry, but served with a truffle honey that you'll want to bottle and take home). The beer selection is awesome, along with either sangrias!

  • Philly Quality in AC
    OpenTable Diner Since 2011
    Dined on 4/20/2012
My wife and I are huge fans of Chef Garces, we live near AC but would frequently take the drive to Philly to visit his places, so we were very excited to hear he was bringing Amada and others to Revel. I had some concerns about the prices going up and the quality going down. I have to say while there are a few price adjustments (nothing major a few $ here and there) the food is just as good as Philly. Our favorites where the cheese mixto (that garlic dulce de leche will rock you!) the short-rib flatbread (I don't even like horseradish and it was wonderful) and the pork and white beans, perfect crisp skin, melt in your mouth tender. And be sure to get some Sangria. The place was very loud though, hard to have a conversation.

A great experience. The tapas sampler for two generously provided a delicious overview of the menu. The view of the ocean, even in mid spring, is stunning and will only get more so in the summer. A suitable wine list, although I wish they had some more exotic Spanish styles and varietals. Sangria seems to be their specialty. Amada is definitely a go to spot.

We had traveled to Spain in October and were happy to find a tapas experience here at home. It was a very enjoyable evening. Another excellent meal at Jose Garces' newest restaurant in Atlantic City. Have eaten at Amada and Garces Trading in Philadelphia and once again every morsel of food is delectable; that lavender truffle honey with selection of great cheeses is so amazing. I have finally convinced my husband that tapas/small plates paired with good wine is the way to go for a fantastic dining experience. Thank you Amada and chef Garces. Congratulations on your newest venture!

We were a group of 5 and we had so much fun at the Amada. Our waiter, Antonio (Tony), was so helpful and guided us through the menu. He was very attentive and a real asset to the restaurant. We started with tapas (small plates) shared within our group, and worked our way to Chicken and Chorizo Paella. Everything was delicious. The paella is to die for. We each had different desserts and shared amongst ourselves. The desserts were delectable. To make a wonderful night even better, we got to meet Iron Chef Jose Garces. He was very nice and very friendly. We will be back.

They have sweeping views of the ocean and boardwalk in the back part. The decor is very modern. The waitress could not have been nicer and helped us with some things. Now Amada if you didn't already know is Spanish Tapas, so we ordered 7 dishes between the 2 of us. They have some INCREDIBLE things to eat there. There were a couple miss steps with our order but they are new and it was immediately fixed/struck from our bill so absolutely no complaints. The band playing was a nice touch but the sound is REALLY bad and jarring. Also avoid the jelly things they give you at the end of dinner with your check if you don't like super super super sweet. Overall we found some unique choices, amazing Absinthe cocktail and had a fabulous time.
