We asked for more bread and butter before the entrees came and got it when our plates were empty. They charged $3 per soft drink including the children's sizes! We had to have her correct the bill because she charged the appetizers when they were included in the special. Just felt we were charged a large amount with very poor service!

Food was delicious. Service could have been better. Our waitress didn't know how to use the gift card and instead of asking for help she told me that there was no money on the card. Which caused an argument at our table. We were also there at happy hour and we were told happy hour prices are only at the bar. Not very smart when you eat there you tend to stay longer.

I made reservations for 5:45, but when we arrived (on time) we weretold they were running 15 minutes behind. They were slammed, so I totally understood. But, at 6:30, and we still werent seated, I called The Keg to see how long their wait was and they said they could seat us immediately. Once I told the host our intentions he sat us. The food was good but the service was slow. I don't mean to be too harsh, but overall we were there 3 hours! We probably won't go there on a holiday again.

This is my second year going to Black Angus in Chandler for Thanksgiving, and had a fantastic experience both times -- very polite, friendly, and attentive staff, and the food was terrific, very tasty and super value for the price. I enjoyed EVERYTHING served very much. In spite of being PACKED, the staff did an amazing job of still being so nice. If you are looking for a place to eat on Thanksgiving, I think you would enjoy yourself at Black Angus Chandler.

3 out of 4 of us were disappointed. I actually made this reservation (Helene). We did get seated within a reasonable time. Our order took a long time just to get taken and we ordered soft drinks and one of them never came until later when mgr. came to table and even then took time. We never got our setups even when the food came and againe waited. The waitress was very pleasant and said yes to everything but never followed thru. It took so long that I took my turkey home and gave it to my dogs. I guess Thanksgiving Day you shld stay home.

We went 15 minutes early so we were sure to get our name in. We had reservations for 3:15 and were finally seated at 3:45. Unacceptable. After we were seated we waited quite a while for our waitress to come to the table. She was very nice and helpful but the restaurant simply overbooked. The food was very salty. We usually like the arrangement of enclosed booths because it keeps the noise level down, but we had a very loud diner in the booth next to us and could hear his entire conversation. He must have had one of those voices. We always go out on Thanksgiving but I think I will cook at home next year.

All I will say is....I have been making reservations at this Black Angus on Thanks Giving for the wife and myself ever since we moved to the Phoenix area (as well as Birthdays & anniversary's). This Thanks Giving I was thoroughly disappointed in this restaurant, it was obvious they had over booked after talking to a number of guest waiting in the lobby I found there were a lot of walk in's as well (Who by the way were getting seated in the bar area before any of us were asked if we wanted that seating). They did ask me (as I had been waiting now for 30min. if i wanted to sit outside?). After 35min's past our 2:45 reservation and three trips to the reservation desk asking how long will it be(without a reasonable answer). We were seated

We were seated right away. The waiter ( sorry I don't remember his name ) was cheerful and friendly. We ordered the Thanksgiving feast and it was a feast, The potato soup was great. The turkey both white and dark was cooked just right. We were surprised to get both kinds of potatoes . The stuffing, my favorite, was yummy. Next time I think I might asked the waiter if I could only have one potato. I couldn't finish the mashed potato. I could barely save room for the pumpkin pie. Overall excellent!

We had our annual board dinner here this year. Everything about the experience was great. No problems. You did not know the wait staff was there, but they took care of every need and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend, if you need a place to have a dinner with a group (ours was 10 people) you consider this restaurant.

I've eaten at quite a few Black Angus restaurants in different parts of town and different parts of the country. This one was a pleasant surprise because although the quality of all of them have been "ok" this particular locations food and service were top notch. Was one of the best lobster tails I've had short of getting them straight out of the ocean in Boston.

With so many steakhouses to compete with and perceptions not many would see Black Angus as a higher end choice. I have eaten at higher end steakhouses, some others that are a little below those and Black Angus has never disappointed me. The steak is always tender and flavorful, the wine list is decent, the restaurant is clean, the service is wonderful, and the price is competitive.

The food and service were very good. We did not like the layout of the restaurant because the tables face each other and we were staring at other customers the whole time. One party chose to sit somewhere else when they saw they were going to have to sit in our line of view. We also had a very fussy, screaming child that was not taken outside and we were celebrating our anniversary and it did set well for a romantic dinner. Other than that our service was great, we were in and out of there in an hour.

Overall, my girlfriend and I had a great time at the restaurant. My only issue was that I booked the reservation using Open Table and left a comment mentioning that it was my girlfriend's birthday dinner. We heard about three birthday songs as we sat there, but she never got her song, which I can only assume means the staff never looked at the comments/request section of the reservation and/or didn't communicate it to our server. Either way, it was a little disappointing.

My MedWell steak was served med rare. When ordered, told her chef could butterfly filet to ensure temperature. She sounded condescending and bothered by statement & said they know how to prepare. But served MR and she didn't come back to check on food. Asked another waitress to get our waitress. Finally she took steak for recook. When she brought new steak, she Never came back to check. Also Waitress forgot husbands drink. Brought to table after entrees delivered while we were waiting for recooked steak Sat it on table & said 'do you still want it" he said I wanted it sooner but...and she whisked it away without an apology. She could have handled better & it wouldn't have been a big deal. But her attitude was dreadful!

Went out for dinner with friends we hadn't seen in a while. Wanted an atmosphere conducive to quiet conversation. Remembered (from back in the 80's) how nice Black Angus used to be in this department, with the smoked glass partitions, high backed booths, dim lighting, etc. We really miss that style. Anyway talking about how it "used to be" made us decide to go there anyway even though we knew it wasn't the same anymore. It still was quieter than most restaurants nowadays. So main goal of pleasant conversation achieved. However, the prices were higher than I think we're appropriate. You can get a better meal at Outback for less money.......BUT of course it is a bit noisier, so..... Food was good, just not outstanding. Great for this event

I found a coupon for 2 in one of the advertisers from the mail. Thought we'd try it because of the variety of food selections. We ordered an appetizer, prime rib and filet mignon, a few side orders and dessert. Meat was tender and juicy. Side orders were plentiful and fresh. Dessert topped it off. Generous portions. Josh, our waiter, was engaging, courteous, and prompt. Our 10 year son enjoyed the evening too. They have a nice selection for the kids too. We'll definitely come back.

Our steaks were cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. My lobster was very succulent. This will become one of our favorite places to dine and we'll be back to try other things on the menu.

Have had good experiences at the somewhat underrated steakhouse in Chandler. Been there 4 times, always felt comfortable with the food, service and value. Somewhat limited menu, but all good. Recommend the Sirloin over all the other steaks. Actually better than the filet, and much cheaper. Nice portions, and the sirloin looks bigger than the advertised weight. Tuesday has half off bottle of wine. Look for their advertised specials, had the steak and shrimp, was excellent.

Ribeye was like something you would get at Denny's (thin). Not a ribeye served at a steak house. The manager needs to know the menu. Did not receive our appetizer and waitress forgot it completely. We like trying a different steak house at least twice a month with our neighbors. The lobster was great!!!! The other three steaks were great (fillet).
