A word from Woodside Lodge
The Woodside Lodge is located on the back side of Spring Mountain. It was built in the early 1920's and is the last standing Inn among several that catered to that periods travelers who came by train to Schwenksville to escape Philadelphia 's summer heat. Our vision is to restore the Woodside Lodge to the wonderful meeting place that so many travelers and locals remember. Our Menu is Upscale American Comfort Food. We have Soups, Salads, Starters, Light Fare (Sandwiches), and delicious Entrees ranging from 14.99 to $26.00 that include House Salad, Bread Basket, Chef's Choice of Vegetable and Choice of Buttermilk Whipped Potatoes or Chef Michael's Famous Vermont Cheddar Stuffed Potato Cake!

Loved the service for Burger night. I thought the sheet that you fill out to order your burger was great. Not only are you sure you have all the options you want, but there is no confusion on price. When you offer a deal such as 1/2 price burgers many people get upset on the up charges, but you covered that in a fun way. New England Seafood Chowder and Crab Cake were definite winners. Thank you!!!

Service was slow. We were a group so did not mind the wait so much but if I was there for dinner with my significant other I would not have appreciated the wait as much.

Everything was top notch--food, service, atmosphere--and they were only open for a week and a half! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will be telling all our friends that it's a great place to go. We will definitely go back again. We even got a tour of the lodging upstairs. The suites have all been redone and are very charming. This would be a wonderful place to stay while enjoying winter or summer activities at nearby Spring Mountain Ski Area.

We arrived at 5:25, had a reservation. It took from 5:25 to 7:00 to get served salads and dinners . We were seated immediately. The bar was very full. We sat in the dining room, there were two other tables there , about 6 people total. It took forever for someone to come to our table and ask if we wanted a drink. Our waitress was friendly, took our drink order, another 15 minutes until she came back to take the food order. Caesar salad was swimming in dressing, croutons were spongy. House salad was good, thousand island dressing was very thick and had no taste. Ny strip steak was tough, cooked correctly, but bland. Chicken Marsala was good, vegetables under cooked. Had to take our check to hostess ,no waitre

What a charming place! My husband and I had a nice time. The food was excellent. And the service was exceptional. My only recommendation would be to request a table in the fireplace room. In the room we were seated in, the nearby table was too close for comfort. I felt like I was a part of their table. Awkward.
