  • The Restaurant is well decorated

The Restaurant is well decorated and it is a place to see beautiful people and to be seen. As food goes it is good at best and has no relation with its price. The wine list while extensive is highly overprice for the quality of the wines. The tables as very close to each other which does not allow any privacy, especially if you are a couple. If you want to visit a trendy restaurant in SOBE and you do not care about the quality of the food or the value, this is a great place.

  • We arrived early for our reservatio

We arrived early for our reservation, but after tipping the hostess and waiting more than 30 minutes for a table, we left. During this time the hostess never stopped by to apprise of our table status. I had to seek out the hostess for this information, very discourteous. The entire time we were there, no server ever approached us to obtain a drink order.

The place is gorgeous, worth a drink at the bar, but they have serious service and sttitude issues. They tried to serve us mineral water without our asking and we had to stop that. Then they presented us with the check without our asking and said they needed our table. When we asked to speak with the manager, they said everyone was too busy. This isn't what you want from an expensive place. They need new management.

This was my second time at the restaurant; the first time was great, and the food was good. The second time was not so great. Place is great and so is ambiance, but service and food were subpar. The seared Tuna i ordered was overcooked and the veal scaloppini was very dry. I would recommend the place for ambiance and drinks, but definitely not for food.

A bit eurotrashy. Food was very good, service was a bit spotty, music got progressively louder and it became impossible to have a conversation. I expect that the die-hard Barry White and Bee Gees fans were delighted with the volume coming from the DJ who probably should have stayed on St. Barth's. The calamari was exceptional and the burratina was delicious although far too large a serving (and vastly over priced). Entrees were reasonably priced yet appetizers were as much as entrees. The waiter brought our friends the wrong fish, but they consumed it anyway. $11,000 for a bottle of champagne? I don't think so.

Really beautiful and the service incredible. The food is really good but a bit expensive. If you are planning to have wine, be prepared to pay at least $80 dollars a bottle.

It's always nice to get a new high end restaurant and Villa Azur is trying hard to be all it's opulent decoration and French influence it can bring to Miami Beach. Straight out of Magic City this is a movie set of a restaurant. The food was great. Four of us had Chateauxbriand (2) which was excellent, Prawns which were too cool and had to be returned for reheating, and Branzino which was also excellent. An ajoining diner had problems with Bouillabaisse with no broth but that's another story. The service was spotty. There are lots of waiters running around looking after who knows what but none available to get you what you need. The wine list at 3X is too expensive although the sommelier found us a nice Margaux for $145.

This place is new and it is tremendous! we usually go to the Delano, but this year, under new management, they wont let you even walk in the place in dress linen shorts or w/out showing ID!!!! Villa Azur and Open Table had some glitch in that that our reservation didn't show up, but they handled themselves beautifully, brought us to a table and we had incredible service in a stunning setting (and i am a Decorator). Service and food- amazing! cant wait to tell everyone about this find and will be back next year- if not before! Please don't change a thing and please don't be stupid like the Delano!
