We LOVE the seafood buffet! And sitting outside is really lovely this time of year. The only down-side was that there were a lot of kids at the restaurant last Friday night. So...it's probably best to eat later in the evening when (hopefully) they are in bed.

I am a frequent diner for Sunday brunch and we have always loved it. This past Sunday it was awful. We arrived at 5 mins till 11 and were told it was "changing over to brunch". By 1130 we were then informed Brunch was imminent. Then it was still unprepared. At 11:45 we went up to get our food and were told they will need another 10 minutes. I ordered an Omelette at the Omelette station. The fellow was very confused and his partner a woman was similarly backed up and confused. After waiting for almost 15 minutes, he took my order and said he would bring to my table. 20 minutes later it never showed so I went up there. They apparently gave to another diner so they made me a new one. It was runny and not cooked through- worst Omelette ever.

I called and made a reservation for Sunday brunch. The person who took the reservation asked if there was a special occasion and I explained that it was my mother's birthday. I was then told that they would do something special. Brunch consisted of one carving station with skirt steak & one omlette station. The rest was buffet. The fish dishes were wonderful but the rest of the warm food was average. Cold buffet had very limited section. Had to ask for refills on orange juice and coffee. Our table was never approached by a manager, Host or anyone to check if we're satisfied. Was handed check with no mention of Mother's birthday. Food & service disappointing.

The scenery is beautiful, and the food is decent. Unfortunately the waiters are not well educated about the food, which is a real problem for people with food allergies. The kitchen staff often forgets to make special food requests, and waiters need a better understanding of what they're serving.

Always exhilirating experience to lunch or dine overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and the beautiful ambiance of this classy hotel dining area. Lunch menu changed,so a bit disappointed to not find many of our usual favorites, but great service, friendly staff make it a delight anyway. Can't wait for season to return to the former menu.

We had Father's Day brunch at Temple Orange. Food was great, with a nice (but not overwhelming) selection. Great raw bar of huge shrimp and stone crab claws. Everything looked to be of the highest quality. The setting is beautiful, on an ocean-view terrace, especially when the weather cooperates as it did on our visit. Service was very spotty, which surprised us, given the number of servers working. We had to ask twice for our server to come to the table. Not up to the standards one would expect - even though everyone was very friendly. Definitely worth another visit, for brunch or drinks or a casual meal. Price was very fair considering the quality of the brunch offerings.

  • Typical Ritz prices, not quality
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 5/13/2012
Not only was food overpriced, but made of low quality ingredients. I understand that hotel dining in general tends to be pricier than what it's worth, but the rissotto and flatbread that we ordered (because we're vegetarians and there weren't many other options) were just awful, regardless of what was charged for them. I've had rissotto many times, and from fine Italian restaurants to a casual dinner at a friend's house and I've never had it taste this awful before. The texture of the risotto reminded me of the strange, mushy texture that minute-maid rice gives. I honestly believe that this was what was used. The flatbread was also sub-par and for the price and size it was not worth it.

They had a very busy morning on mothers day but they handled it very well. Everyone was very nice. The food was so yummy! Especially the omelette station the chef did an amazing job considering how many orders he had. I just wish they would have had someone there to help him. I know he was exhausted afterwards! My husband already requested we go again for fathers day :)

LUnch at the Ritz Carlton is all it is supposed to be at such a legendary locale. I can't forget the taste of the chicken salad, atop fabulous greens. The Roast beef is wonderfully sliced, not too thin, and served with caramelized onions. Such attentive service, such delicious food. What a combination!!!

The night we were there was super crowded. Understaffed, for sure. We sat for at least 30 minutes until we flagged down someone and asked if they knew who our server was. The young man was kind enough to help us. My daugher has food allergies, so the server communicated to the chef and he came out to talkt us. Very kind. Unfortunately, the food was not good. My shrimp with my steak was soooo dried out I could not even cut them. My daugher thought the risotto with peas was SUPER starchy. Not good. The server was very kind and kept checking on us. I would not come back to this restaurant. I expect more in the Ritz.

Sitting outside on a warm evening, the sound of the waves in the background, and wonderful food and service...what could be better? The seafood buffet was not a disappointment. Shrimp, crab, sushi, oysters plus roast beef, chicken, salmon and salads made dinner just perfect. The choice of desserts, all in individual tart size was outstanding - creme brulee, cheese cake, lemon tarts...to name a few. If you're looking for romantic, it's here...if you're looking for family dining, it's here...Service outstanding

    OpenTable Diner Since 2011

The service and the attitude of personnel could easily be improved. I attempted to reserve over the phone but was impolitely shut down. However, I was able to reserve via the online system; why this inconsistency? Our table was not ready at the agreed time, then the table in full sun that was offered outside was not an acceptable option for our group (squeezing 12 in an 8 person table). When we were finally seated an hour later, service for drinks took an additional 20 minutes. This is really not fitting to the Ritz-Carlton name...
