The food was just average. Ordered a Gimlet it was poorly made, let the waitress know it was not good, she discussed it with the bartender.....instead of re-mixing the cocktail she returned to the table with a shot glass of sweet and sour and suggested i pour it in the cocktail. They eventually remixed the drin.

  • Ignite is a fun little restaurant.

Ignite is a fun little restaurant. We thought the drinks and appetizers were awesome. The pizzas are really good. We like the concept and the space. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, but it is definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood -- and the prices are really reasonable.

Our server recommended the perfect wine, and the food was outstanding and reasonably priced. We had the pork tenderloin and the beef tips...both were excellent.

This new restaurant has potential, but they are not quite there. The menu is promising, but many of the dishes featured odd food combinations or preparations. For example, the Calamari Frites are just bizarre and the Roasted Beet salad had literally four small chunks of beet mixed with an abundance of spinach. The drinks were noticeably light on the alcohol content, and for $8-10/drink I'd expect a heavier pour. The service and ambiance were great.

First visit. Loved the food. Our waiter was great and other staff also came & refilled drinks. Came on a Wednesday & was surprised to hear about Wednesday's special pricing. I have told many co-workers about experience and Wednesday special. Later in the day I regretted having told them about Wednesday becuz I will have to compete with them to get in :)

Jeff, the manager, does things right. We followed him from his last restaurant and weren't disappointed. The grilled pork was worth the trip, there are many of the better red wines from California to choose from, the mussels were some of the best anyplace, and the oven turned out some great pizzas. Beautiful outside deck will be worth visiting when the weather turns. Friendly, attentive staff too...

My husband and I decided to try Ignite simply because it was new, we didn't really know anything about it. Overall, I thought it was a very good restaurant. While the overall decor and layout feels a bit bar-like, the food was delicious (try the salmon), service was very good, and the prices were very reasonable. I will definitely recommend it to friends and we plan on going back this spring/summer to try out their roof-top bar. A great addition to the neighborhood!

Went with a small group and was pleased to see this place full to the brim in the North Downtown Denver. We were at Trillium next door for drinks before and the place was struggling to fill tables. Ignite's food was good but it's not fine dining...nor are they trying to be. The most notable thing about our experience was the awesome "wine by the glass" list. The entire backside of the menu was WBTG with most of the wines priced at $10 or under. We will go back to check out the upstairs deck and try some different items on the menu.

I live in the LoDo area and gave this new place a try.The ambiance and overall "feel" is excellent. However, the food was not consistent. My boyfriend ordered the Mac & Cheese, which was very good.I unfortuantely ordered the Blackened Salmon Salad, which was drenched in salt (the rub on the fish) and dressing that it was unedible. The server offered to give me another entree,so I chose the Turkey Burger w/ Sweet Potato fries assuming it would be gourmet. Wrong. The burger was not hand made, but rather a Jennie-O patty on a simple bun on a huge plate and the sweet potato fries were staright out of a freezer bag. The presentation was awful.I hope the kitchen can work out these kinks b/c we'd like to return.
