A word from Tango Bistro
Tango's menu offers contemporary American Cuisine in a comfortable setting, located just off the train tracks in Bryn Mawr. You can settle in to our Main Dining Room in a cozy banquette, enjoy dining by the fireplace or perhaps the intimacy of a smaller room with bright French doors. Our Train Room is reminiscent of a dining car as the train whizzes by the window. In the summer, enjoy Tango's deck seating. A large wrap-around patio comfortably seats guests under a shaded canopy or along our fabulous Cantina Bar. Voted "2008 Best Al Fresco Dining on the Main Line" by Main Line Today.

Our menu features the comfortable dishes you always love and we feature seasonal specialties with some cultural flare. Tango offers an extensive beverage menu and wine list to compliment your meal.

Very, very nice ambiance and great food. Ideal for a romantic dinner. Several booths add an intimate feel. Can be a bit noisy from conversation.

The waiter seemed very harried. It was obvious that he had not been trained will. Example "YOu don't want dessert do you?" rather than "What can I get you for dessert" Drinks were late and blamed on the fact that there was one bartender. How can you have one bartender on a saturday night when you seat over 100?

First off, our server (Edward) was one of the best servers I have had. I worked in the fine-dining business for a few years and he is at the top of his game. I will most certainly request him next time if he is working. Our Calamari appetizer came out cold so we sent it back and then it was perfect. That was the only glitch of the evening. I had the Duck Confit salad (highly recommend). Our filets were ordered medium-rare but came out medium. Because they were so flavorful, we didn't want to send them back (just order one heat level above what you want). My wife had a chocolate molten cake for dessert and I had the creme' brulee (both excellent). The cocktails were perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant despite a few flaws!!!

Reliably very good. The entrees on our most recent visit were excellent - surf and turf; shrimp with rice; and scallops with asparagus risotto. Friendly and attentive service.

It is a fallback restaurant. When you can't get a reservation or are too tired to travel to other places you go to Tango. The menu is tired and the food uninspired and lackluster.

  • Tables are way too close together.

Tables are way too close together. I felt like I was having dinner with the table next to us. I had the lobster ravioli, which had tons of lobster in it, but overpriced. I ordered an after dinner drink that was on the menu, and it took forever, and was the wrong drink. My husband did not like the jambalaya.

Wonderful - we came in from Washington, DC to take a client to lunch - very enjoyable right down to your employees recommending taking the local train to the 30th Street Station instead of spending a fortune on a cab - they way we arrived!

Mu evening at Tango was an excellent first visit. the Wine and beer selection was only surpassed by the food. A bit noisy at the beginning of the evening but it turns to nice and romantic once the crowds leave.

This is a nice restaurant on the MainLine. Worth it if you are in the area. I didn't find the food particularly tasty but it was decent. They were very good with coat check, honoring reservations, and service.

As always, Tango never disappoints. The special was a spinach & mushroom quiche with a green salad which two friends ordered. Huge slice which they said was delicious. I had a chicken quesadia that was sweet, not hot, and too much to finish...highly reccommend it. Too satisfied to share desert.

I'm not sure why we don't dine at Tango more often. Our dinner was beautifully presented and most flavorful. The service was outstanding and the ambiance/decor is soothing and chic.

We have not been to Tango in several years but when thinking about where to go Friday..Tango popped up on Open Table we decided to give it a try. Nice evening all around. The food was very flavorful and ambience nice. We will go back (and hopefully be seated in a nicer window seat)...If you have not been give it a try.
