  • The food is extremely over
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 9/3/2008
The food is extremely over priced for the portion size. What looks like a pot-pie is $18.00 and a small serving of fish and chips was $17.50 - both were severed up cold to our table. And don't even think of eating the odd muffins brought before your meal arrives. We took 2 and were able to use them as weights. UGH! I understand this place is in the middle of a tourist trap but as Florida/Orlando residents we never thought it would be so over priced (again for the small, small portions). I'm sure this place could be fun for some special occasion, but for our group it was a bomb and we all left disappointed. Florida residents stay away and dont get sucked in!

    OpenTable Diner Since 2005
    Dined on 8/29/2008
The food is very good, but it used to be excellent. The problem is the service which is at best fair. The seating regime is slow and it really does not seem to matter if there is a reservation or not--one must always wait at least 10-20 minutes to be seated. The process to check in and assign a table and then be seated involves 3 people who often talk among themselves rather than facilitating the seating of their customers.

I reserved a table for 12 people to celebrate my boyfriend's 34th birthday. We had a dedicated waiter and the restaurant was very cooperative about letting us have balloons and our own cake. The food was great - especially because it was not traditional bar food! Instead - it was a nouveau take and upgrade on traditional Irish fare. I wouldn't recommend it for a "date night" - but for larger groups out for good food and very good entertainment - this is the spot!

It was a great place to have fun at, but there are two things that will definitely stop me from going there again: very high prices of wines & other alcohol; way too loud music on stage - couldn't talk to my friends at the table at all.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 8/4/2008
Booked a table with a view of the band. What we actually got was a view of the back of the band stuck right next to the kitchen door. When i politely asked the seating girl if we could sit somewhere where we could see the band like i requested, she sarcastically said the band are there and pointed to the band, or the backs of the band, so in order for us to watch the band we would have had to all turned around and watch the backs of the band and the waiters in and out. Kids shepperds pie was too rich and our friends little boy was throwing up all night. The adult chicken was very dry. Not the evening that we had hoped for.

My husband said the shepherd's pie was good, but he would like to have had vegetables in it. My fish & chips were outstanding, however I was disappointed in the Baileys Crème Brule Tart. It didn't taste fresh. The crust had a "been in the freezer too long" taste. My husband had the Bread & Butter Pudding and it was delicious.

Raglan Road was one of the best dining experiences that we encountered on our Walt Disney World, Orlando, trip. Our server was exceptional. The only real complaint was with the beef 'stew' meat in a bangor/mash entree. The beef was tough and lacked the flavor of that usually savored in a good quality stew. Despite this, the entree was otherwise enjoyable. Thanks!

We have eaten at this restaurant several times before this visit (mostly for lunch) and have noticed the prices have increased while the food quality has decreased. Also, there weren't as many items on the menu as the last time we came for dinner. Would like to see more sandwich fare as dinner options. It is a fun place to go with a large group.

  • I have experienced this restaurant
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 7/4/2008
I have experienced this restaurant before and have always loved my stay. The only complaint I had is that instead of acknowledging they were low on cabbage, they hid it by serving extra potatoes in hopes I would not notice. Sad because their food needs no apologies as its always spectaclular, so an acknowledgment and a different side choice would have been more then suffice. Our server Nathan was fantastic and very attentive and as always the band performed beautifully! P.S. thank you for bringing back Kevin's Ham to the menu and if you are going to mention that a dish has a side, then put it on the plate as a side, not a garnish meant for mice.

  • I would have given Raglan
    OpenTable Diner Since 2008
    Dined on 7/4/2008
I would have given Raglan Rd a 100% rating but for 2 factors - 1) Great food but too little of it (and I'm not even a man with a BIG appetite but merely an average one); and 2) great music/dancing/entertainment but a little too loud for my delicate ears. I am a combat veteran (Vietnam) and am somewhat sensitive to ultra loud noises. But not me alone. My wife, who has NOT been in combat, agreed it was much too loud to really enjoy the sounds. One last complaint: The dancer was excellent but her performance was much too brief. Over-all I'd recommend Reglan Rd. to anyone, but I would have to point out these few flaws. P.S. our waitress was a sweetheart (the music was too loud for us to catch her name) Hugh Akins

The food was second to none. We asked the waitress to pass on our compliments to the chef and 1 of the managers (A fellow Dubliner) came over to us and we had a quick chat. I will recomend this place to everyone I know who will be going to Orlando. It's great to see 2 irish lads going out to America and have done so well.To all the staff and Managment Keep up the great work. Glenn,Dublin
