a little disapointed that there was no shrimp in the "Shrimp Fettchenie". Everything else was good. We had special guests in town and didn't want to have anything to distract from the occasion. The drinks had been made and were left standing some place because the ice cubes were mostly melted and the drink tasted watered down.

    Dinner
    Dined on 7/7/2012
Food was fine. Speed of food arriving was good. Some problems however. Cocktail glasses were never cleared after the drinks were finished; they stayed on the table - empty - until we left. Bread and butter plates were not removed when dinner plates were taken, leaving them in the way when dessert was served. As we exited the dining room, there were many oyster shells on the carpet, obviously dropped off a plate that was cleared. This is unacceptable as a safety hazard but also VERY unappealing. Too bad. This is a nice restaurant but it failed in the above issues.

My wife and I just moved back to the Seattle area after a ten year exile to the East coast. For the most part, it has been great going back to our hold haunts. That's not always the case, unfortunately. We have such fond memories of Anthony's. It pains me to give them anything less than five stars, but it's important to say it like it is. Our two favorite dishes are no longer there. Dungeness crab is only served as part of some other dish, and not whole. The only way to order mahi-mahi is as part of a combo with coconut-shrimp, and if you try to order it, chances are they're out of mahi-mahi, anyhow. My wife tried halibut with the macadamia nut preparation and it wasn't very good. I've more to say, but no space to type it.

We were celebrating two birthdays. Made reservations and asked for a view seat - we were seated in the corner by the window with a great view and more privacy. Food was outstanding - every meal was scrumptious and artistically presented. Service was excellent - fast, friendly, efficient, but not overbearing. Anthony's is our number one choice for special occasion dining!

Great view of Lake Washington. Diners seem to come here for consistently well prepared, however uninspired, seafood. Chowder was spot on and the Copper River salmon (seasonal) was tasty though not sure if it's worth all the hype and up charge. Valet parking is a mess but not a lot of other options in the area.

Our visit was for a birthday celebration and we had an excellent time. One person in our party had some food allergies and the staff were great at finding out how the fish and chip dish was prepared to ensure our friend didn't encounter any allergic reactions. When I made the reservation on open table I requested a window seat since we were celebrating a birthday and Anthony's was able to facilitate this request. The water view is always outstanding and quite relaxing.

You can't beat the view, but I think they use about a 2:1 butter to fish ratio. I ordered the Copper River sockeye, and I think there was more butter than fish on my plate. Why drown top-grade fresh salmon in butter?

The views are spectular and the people at the front desk were very good to us. The woman wanted to get us just the right table because it was our anniversary. We generally find the service to be friendly but not very polished, as if they hire only college students and then don't train them well. Still, it's a lovely place to be on a sunny day and the food is good as long as you're not expecting a true fine dining experience.

I took a group of 6 people there at 5:00 on Sat. night. They put is in the back corner of the restaurant and more-or-less ignored us for the time we were there. We had to ask for everything -- more water, more bread, etc. etc. There were huge gaps between visits to our table. It took forever to get our dinner ordered. The waitress was friendly enough (when she was there) -- but the service was really awful the entire time. Everyone in my group was shocked at the awful service. The food was OK -- nothing special. So, why would I go back again to have average/mediocre food with terrible service?? The view was awesome, however. But that wouldn't bring me back.

Anthony's was a great find as our group was from out of town. The view was spectacular when the sun wasn't directly in your face but great none the less. The service we got was top notch for a group of thirteen I was never left wondering where is the server or where is the food. The calamari was over cooked and really chewy otherwise everyone loved their dishes and for 13 thats pretty amazing. The chairs we uncomfortable the wicker base was astheticly pleasing but the arms were so narrow that it dig into my legs for the entire night which was true of probably half the group. I don't want that to detract from the fact that it was a great experience and prices were less than expected for a waterfront seafood place.
