A word from MIMOSA
Mimosa is a casual French restaurant offering a fresh cuisine with Mediterranean accents.

Mimosa is named after the iconic flower of France's Provence. It's also a French drink made of sparkling wine and orange juice and is served at brunch every Sunday.

Enjoy some classics from Burgundy: Escargots, Gratinee Onion Soup to Roast Duck with fruits of season or try Filet Mignon that goes excellent with any choices of French and Californian wines.

You will also appreciate our salted or sweetened crepes and sandwiches for lunch. You may fall in love with our desserts: Creme Brulee, Cappuccino Truffle or 'Profiteroles au Chocolat'. Every day, there is a new soup, salad or pasta to make your experience more exciting.

With an early bird special, from 4 to 6pm, you can enjoy a full course meal including an appetizer, entree, dessert, and coffee or tea.

Enjoy this variety of flavors in a charming indoor setting or outside near our beautiful fountain!

Tucked in a strip center. Bright and airy dining room. Friendly service. Bread should be warm. Wine list only a handful of bottles labeled by origin and varietal. I've never seen Chilean sea bass in a French restaurant before, nor brocolli. Not exceptionally memorable.

Enjoy this awesome resteraunt with a menu full of deliciousness. They seem to truly understand the art of cooking here, best place I've been to in a year full of dining out. The manager was a wonderful guy who dedicates himself to the customer, and it was a plaeasure. This place is a great treat!

I had the lamb shank with the sauteed zucchini...outstanding! Expertly prepared, braised to a nice finish on the outside, juicy & flavorful on the inside & fork-tender. The zucchini was a perfect just-under al dente texture. Could not have done a better job. The Service- not so much. With only 7 tables seated & 3 servers, we waited so long to be seated, we just seated ourselves. The service was sub-par throughout the meal. I made no complaints, but others did. One couple was denied a seat BEFORE closing, saying it was too close to closing time, & asked to return the next night. Bad practice!

Had a dinner there with my pescaterian teenage daughter, we both found yummy choices from the menu. Little cream on the broth of my PEI mussels rounded up flavors nicely. I eat red meat rarely to avoid disappointment of the way it's cooked, but my medium rare steak was seared perfectly. Our server was genuinely friendly and made us feel really welcome. I don't live anywhere near Boca, but will def go to Mimosa again.

First (and probably last) time at this restaurant. Ambiance, decor and service acceptable, but you just had the feeling the portions were going to be small (which they were)l. That would be okay except that the prices for a shopping center restaurant like this were absurd. That was confirmed when we were served a "deep dish" apple pie for desert which was a flat sliver of pastry for $8.50. Eat here if you enjoy eating average food at four-star prices.

It's Fathers Day and this was supposed to be a pleasant dining experience. There were only 2 tables occupied when we arrived. There was no one at the podium to great us or seat us. My husband had to go to back to find someone and were told "take any table!" Even at I-Hop you get greeted and seated! The waitress was unpleasant, service was slow and the food was mediocre. Except for one other table, we are now the only table in the restaurant. It was not a pleasant conclusion to Fathers Day!

I think they are known for their mussels. They were great. We were 3 people and we shared the mussels as an appetizer. Yum. Two of us had the short ribs in pinot noir sauce. Portions are not huge but they were terrific. The waitress was not the most professional or knowledgeable. The veggies turned out to be the most overcooked sautéed green and red peppers-inedible.Dessert was cold choc cake with "hot fudge sauce" Cake was cold and so was the sauce. It wasn't hot fudge, but melted belgian choc. We commented on the cake being cold and were told that if it wasn't refrigerated it would melt. (never heard of chocolate cake melting). Waitress had a comeback for everything we said. Maybe she was having a bad day. Don't think I'll return.

Waited 15 minutes before anyone even greeted us to be seated. Very loud atmosphere. Took forever for us to get a waitress as there was only one server in the entire restaurant! Food was very plain and unseasoned. Would not allow side substitutions even when explaining I have a severe thyroid condition and am currently pregnant (can't eat potatoes etc) did not enjoy our evening there would not recommend.

We were hopeful that this would become one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. But were disappointed. We sat outside, which was nice. The owner was very nice and took our order. But the food was just okay. We had onion soup and it was bland. Would have loved for it to have more flavor. I had the special; Coq Au Vin. It was overspiced and again would have preferred a wine flavor in the sauce. The vegetab;es that accompanied it were also not very good. My husband had the Frog Legs which he liked. For dessert we shared the the chocolate cake. It was so ordinary. Nothing creative and didn't even taste like it was baked there(which it supposedly was). Wish the owner success but do not think we will return.

Very disappointing after reading other reviews. Only really good dish was the onion soup. Escargots decent but not great Salmon dish on the menu also was just fair. The short ribs of beef tasted like TV DINNER pot roast. The pricing for these entrees far exceeded the quality . The service was friendly and professional but much too slow. We waited 20 minutes to have our dinner plates cleared although we were clearly finished. I think they were short if servers. We dined with another couple and all of us felt the same way. I do not think we will return sorry to say.

While the salad and dessert were good, the entrée (braised beef short rib) was tough with a gloppy port wine sauce over the rib. The mashed potatoes were rather tasteless and the vegetables were overcooked and peppery. Very disappointing. One member of our party tried the salmon entrée and liked it.

This was my third time in 10 days to eat at the restaurant. Iloved it the first to times but last sunday was quite a disappointment. As gpp as the service was the other two times that is how poor it was this time. The restaurant was half full but it took us about 10 minutes to getv someones attention for seating. The waitress took our order but when we wanted to ask for anything we had a hard time getting someones attention. When i complained about the portion of short ribs (my friend got them with me a week before and the prtion was a nice size) instead of the owner bringing out more he first asked if she wanted more. Not very nice of him to put someone on the spot. Being the owner all he had to do was say let me get you more.
