This was our second time that we had dined at Park tavern and we LOVED IT- Already can't wait to come back. One of our favorites on the menu is the Prime Rib. Best prime rib we have ever had- Don't know how they cook it but it's just amazing. Great choices of cocktails, wines and draft beers. Service was great!

Dinner was very good from the chicken to the swordfish to the short rib sliders! No complaints except salads were small to share at $10 and $12. The house Cabernet was great and they have some interesting specialty drinks with a long beer list. Sitting outside is the way to go as inside was extremely noisy. I liked that they called the next day to ask if we liked the food and service. We would go back for sure!

This was our first time dining at Park Tavern. We were seated next to the door which was in the flow of customers. Our waiter had no idea how to be a waiter. We asked what the cheese choices were for the cheese platter and after being very confused had to go ask. There were only five. Next he spilled one of our drinks. When the cheese platter came they gave us a total of 4 crackers, 2 very thin slices of apple and two cherries. Had to repeatedly ask for extra. Dinner was fine although the menu was limited. Noise level was loud. Will be awhile before we would try it again.

  • Food was good, but the music
    OpenTable Diner Since 2007VIP
    Dined on 2/24/2012
Food was good, but the music and background noise was so loud that it was hard to hold a conversation. We were with other people so I didn't want to seem like a cheapskate looking over the bill, but in reflection it was higher than what it should have been with what we ordered. I'd suggest looking at the bill closely to make sure you are not overcharged. My fault for not. In general, this would be a good place for drinks and mingling, but not for dinner....ended up rather pricey. The day after, a friendly young lady called to ask how our experience was. I told her it was okay but that I thought we were overcharged. She did ask who are waiter was, which I didn't remember but made no other comment. So, just okay for drinks with the guys.

for a tavern it was pricy.... very limited menu, if I'm going to spend that type of money, just as well go to Cut 432 (same owners) food is better and about the same price. Chairs are hard!

  • Double cut?
    OpenTable Diner Since 2010VIP
    Dined on 2/24/2012
The first time i had the "double cut" pork chop it was delicious, one of the best i've had, perfectly seasoned tender tasty and thick. I went back for this perfect chop, and it was replaced by 2 thin chops. Not only a disappointment, but still on the menu as "double cut". My chops were still seasoned well, but lost the star quality. They were considerably more firm and less tender, one so thin i sent it back…..The thickness of a double cut chop allows for a good flavorful searing on the outside while retaining a moist tender center. When i asked the server why the 2, his reply was the cook decided it was faster to cook them if cut. Ridiculous, is this fast food? It takes no longer to cook a thick chop then a thick steak. Please change back

From our arrival this was not good. They made us to wait till our reservation time even though there were many available tables. We stood around the reception stand and heard numerous complaints of reservations not honored. When finally seated we waited over an hour for our entrees - only 1 of us had an appetizer, which came right away, and then a 45 minute wait for entrees. The waiter apologized numerous times, but it was clear this restaurant is not ready to be open on Saturday night in Delray. And the food - very noncommittal - could have gotten better in many places. The Shepherd's Pie had ONE tiny piece of carrot and no other veggies - and the spaghetti was cold. There are too many better places to go - forget this one.

Overall food experience was excellent and place is very cool scene. The menu was very different and all food tasted great. Very hip and great crowd. Excellent addition to Delray. However, service was horrible. All food took extremely long time to arrive and many dishes came out wrong when it did arrive.
