Our server was untrained. I asked her if drink specials were going on that day, and she said no. Come to find out there was a happy hour. After ordering my food asked I how many topping I could get on the build your own calzone, and she informed me it was four. When I received my bill I noticed the happy hour price difference and the additional topping charge.Is this helpful?

We love Old Chicago - but place my reservation on the internet & when we got there, they did not have it. We were seated rather quickly for the line that was there. Food was okay - not really that warm. Ordered appetizers - they took forever. Not sure if the waitress forgot or the kitchen. Really think they can do better & we have had better service & food. Will still go back, but kinda disappointed.Is this helpful?

Restaurant seated us 20 minutes late, hostess kept avoiding customers by answering phone (not sure if she was actually talking with someone on the other line, since she was just listening for the most part). Our appetizer of cheese curds took 40 minutes to arrive, then our meal arrived 2 minutes later. Our waitress only offered us drinks once and did not mention that the kitchen was backed up. One table beside us switched their order to-go since the food was taking so long. I understand that the restaurant was kind of busy on a Friday, but the staff needs to be aware of this and make sure guests know what to expect. It's a shame that the hostess and waitress didn't mention anything about the wait, which made them seem inconsiderate and inattentive.Is this helpful?

Service was a bit better than the last several times we’ve gone over the last few years. We stopped going because service was always horrendous. Even on slow nights. Last night we were set up by the doors to the kitchen and that was so loud and annoying because we constantly had to listen to the employees feet kicking the door open. did not make for a pleasant experience. And our Italian nacho appetizer had almost no cheese on it. Was better in the past.Is this helpful?

Food took forever to get. And our waitress didn't pay much attention to us even though we were sitting right next to the entrance to the kitchen. Parmesan garlic fries for an appetizer took over 30 minutes to come out. Pizza crust was soggy and not very crisp. Just over all unimpressive.Is this helpful?

They apparently don’t respect the open table app reservations. Had to wait past our time and ask twice to be seated. After being told “we just have to wipe off a table” twice we were finally seated. Walked by several open tables that also just needed to be wiped off. Not sure why they take app reservations if they aren’t going to respect them. Food was fine. Server was nice. Establishment wasn’t aware of our reservation at first and almost had us wait 25-30 minutes. Until management made adjustments. Love this place, I am a regular here, but not sure how well they can work with this app. Also, they couldn’t fulfill our special request for a booth on the Taproom side (assuming because they weren’t aware of and/or didn’t prepare for our reservation until we showed up)Is this helpful?
