I used to eat at steakhouses like Morton's in the 1980s. The meat was clearly better. Now all steakhouses, including Morton's, leave fat and gristle on fillets and my favorite, New York steaks. I had to spit out an un-chewable bite (discreetly!), and my wife said she did also. Well, prime and choice grades have been compromised thanks to the beef industry, so what can you expect? Fork tender fillets of yesteryear are sweet memories...and maybe labeled "kobe" and cost a hundred bucks.

While our server was very friendly, she was very slow to pour the wine. We had 2 bottles for the table (5 people) and we would try to fill our glasses but the server would get offended but was no where to be found when we needed a refill. The worst part was that 2 of our 5 steaks had to be sent back. They were very rare (we wanted them medium) and by the time they were done, the others had finished their food. We were disapointed, having had a great time at the Vegas location last month.

I had a nice evening with my mom. Morton's has always treated me well, but for my mom's first time, it was o.k. Her filet was very very rare and cold. I had beefing this place up for a while and when you spend good money at a place, you want no flaws. Other than that, it was a nice setting, the wait staff was on the ball, I just wish I would have gotten the really rare one, not my mom. Thanks, Jason rivman962001@yahoo.com

Morton's is about great steak, and doesn't disappoint. The "live" menu presentation is great, and the service was wonderful. Portions are large, so sharing is a great idea. The $25 corkage is a bit high and, considering the already high prices for items, this could be reduced.

Food was prepared excellently, steaks were cooked to order, seafood was fresh and the service was great. We had let them know in advance that we were celebrating my mother inlaw Remy's birthday and when we arrived they greeted her happy birthday, had a menus printed that said happy birthday Remy, and also took a nice photo of all of us at the dinner table and put it in a holder in which they wrote happy birthday Remy. All in all a great dining experience.

Experince was great.and unique. This is the first place Ilve been to that did not give you a menu at first, they explain the food first, then show you the meat and seafood selection first, then the'll give you a menu. Very romantic scenery. Also, there was a board meeting the same night and it took them awhile to bring our food out. my girlfriend and I did not notice how long we where waiting for the food since we were having a good time conversating but they did and they apologize for long wait and they didn't charge us for one of our plate and gave us free desert. That was the very first time ilve been to a restuarant and actuallly have them notice that we were waiting a long time to be served. Usually the customer will notice that first.

We have been to Morton's numerous times and had great experiences everytime. This last time was no different, everything was fantastic! Service was perfect and our server, Marc H., was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and helped us pick out a great wine. My ONLY complaint was that the section next to us had 3 birthday tables and the serving staff sang Happy Birthday to all the tables throughout the course of an hour. I would expect loud songs at Chili's but not here. It was quite obnoxious and loud, and I was somewhat annoyed to be having a quiet, romantic dinner with my husband to hear Happy Birthday over and over. Otherwise, everything was great and we will definitely be back. (Requesting a table near no birthdays.)

Top notch service from this restaurant. All of the food was excellent except the 48 oz. Porterhouse. It was very bland and not even close to command a price of 100.00. It was so bad in fact that even if I had used A1 Steak Sauce, it would not have made a difference. My wife ordered the Ribeye which was incredible. The wine list is wonderful! Dan

I thought they did an excellent job with making the dinner a special occassion and they had added some unique touches to the dining experience including taking a picture of us before dinner and having that attached to a birthday card upon departure, and also they added a complimentary dessert for the occasion. They had a great wine list and menu choices, and overall, it was a memorable dinner for us.

    OpenTable Diner Since 2004

Morton's provides the best of what a great steak house can offer. I should have considered that in my choices from the menu. Unfortunately I chose the Lobster Bisque. In my experience, a bisque is a usually tame blend of creative, subtle flavors in a creamy base that can be exquisite from the kitchen of an expert chef. This bisque was overwhelmed by cayenne pepper making all but the one lump of lobster meat inedible. There was no warning of the spicy nature of this number from the waiter or on the menu. My salad, ribeye steak, grilled asparagas and creme brulee birthday dessert were all delicious. Rob, our waiter, was entertaining, and skillfully intrusive throughout the meal. Finally, the dining room temperature was cold.

Rivals Ruth's Chris with the nod going to Morton's. Service was the highlight. The steks were great. It would be nice if they had a smaller portion for a child or elderly person so you don't have to spend $50 for a steak your kid will have 3 bites of. I had the bone in rib eye and a bottle of 1998 Chimney Rock Cab and they went perfectly together. Morton's is a first class spot!
