Located in the heart of Napa Valley! 1 Mile North of Yountville on Highway 29. Take a walk around the grounds or through the vineyard after your meal. You are sure to fall in love with our property. We have 25 raised beds of herbs and vegetables that supply our kitchen on a daily basis so take a minute to stroll around and see what is ready to be harvested! If you are celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary, or other special occasion, please note that restaurant policy is to provide custom handwriting on the plate of the person celebrating when you order dessert.

    We have eaten twice at Brix - each time with another couple, and each time around 6 pm on the patio. My wife LOVES al fresco dining and this is one of the premier spots for that, on a warmer evening. The service has been outstanding - they seem to have someone assisting the maitre 'd who roves around and notices when a diner has a request, so when our waiter was occupied, this fellow was right there, asking what he could do!) Although we are not "foodies", the cuisine demonstrates consistent care, skill and attention, and was VERY tasty. But, it is the relaxed, classy setting that has us opting for Brix over many other fine and often crowed Napa Valley dining venues.

    Upon entering the restaurant we found the staff to be responsive and engaging. Knowing that it was a birthday, they added "Happy Birthday" in chocolate on the desert. Nice touches and nice attitude in a great setting.

    Disappointing. Wait staff either untrained or unpolished. Musssels arrived without a spoon to enjoy the broth and no bowl for shells and wait staff acted as though I was strange to want them. Busboy training was taking place at the table next to us during our lunchand not very successfully from the look of things...tablecloth on with hem up and stained at our table. At the end our waiter said Brix would be closed for 2 weeks in June for a complete makeover and we would be thrilled with all the new surroundings. I don't think they get it...new surroundings will not help indifferent waitstaff and passable food...not when there are so many great alternatives within a few miles...we will not be returning.

    Service was a trainwreck. It took us 3 hours to eat a meal--and not by choice. Took 20 minutes for us to get a waiter. After seeing us wait (we grabbed anyone we could find), the manager said she would take care of us with some apps. To our surprise, she ordered our party of 6 people only 2 apps (a burger which we requested and a carpaccio-two dishes not friendly for our female guest 3 men/3 women). What surprised us even more: both appetizers showed up on our bill--we thought we would get apps comped for our terrible service. Brix is a joke.

    Beautiful setting. Brix is redoing their garden of herbs and flowers. Staff is friendly and service is excellent. Food was very good. We were there just after they had opened for lunch, so it was not busy at that time. It was very busy when we left. I would definitely recommend Brix for lunch/brunch.

    Our lunch experience was fair. The food was good. But, the menu was not that extensive and mostly featured sandwiches pizza and hamburgers. This is not what I expected from Brix. I wish the menu offered more fish and meat dishes. The service was mediocre. The waiters did not look happy to be there. Also we found that the staff was significantly lacking tact. Being asked "How the food was" and "Is everything ok" every five minutes does not qualify for high class or tactful service. That said, the staff was really nice.

    The food was fantastic but the hospitality was just not there. We had a very disinterested server he seemed annoyed at our presence, hostess was un-notable, it took 10 minutes for the maven to receive a glass of wine during our meal. We have been looking forward to dining at this establishment, unfortunately we will have to think twice before returning to Brix.

    Service was very good. We had a couple of issues surrounding our water and food. The issues were quickly resolved with no questions asked. Any other food related question was also quickly resolved. This was our third or fourth time dining at this establishment and we will definitely be back.

    they no longer serve brunch but they still have brunch listed on the website's hours of operation. we drove 2 hours to celebrate our anniversary over a brunch at brix and they couldnt accomodate us. i even emailed BRIX in advance to make sure they still serve brunch and received no response. I will never go back to BRIX again.

    It was a perfect day to enjoy the early evening outdoors in Napa. The ambiance would have been perfect but we arrived prior to the departure of the vineyard touring crowd who had clearly had a great afternoon. Service was very professional but the mere size of the serving force exceeded the workload and on occasion we were hanging on to our plates to avoid them being wisked away by an over-eager hand. The food was excellent and worth lingering over.

    We had a lovely night and were able to sit out on the patio. Our waitress was very attentive and engaging, although a bit talkative. My wife had the hearts of romaine salad and the halibut while I had a dungenous crab cake and swordfish. All were excellendlly prepared and served attractively. The wine list was extensive. We had an excellent, relaxed and enjoyable meal. We understand that the restaurant will be closed for 10 days in May for remodeling.

    We had a fabulous lunch on the outdoor patio. My only complaints are that it was a beautiful spring day, the birds were chirping and the sounds of spring were everywhere, but they were drowned out by the music playing on the patio. Although the music was nice, I felt it took away from the outdoor experience of being in such a beautiful outdoor setting - and it was a little loud. My second disappointment came when my cappucino was served. I expected it to taste better than it did. Frankly, it tased like house coffee with foam on top- not espresso. Overall though, the food was great, the service top notch, and a great experience asusual.

    We had a lovely anniversary dinner. The food was delicious and very well prepared and presented. It had not been "played with" as some chefs are prone to do.     One of my guests was a bit large for the booths. Unfortunately, the booth tables are bolted in place and could not be adjusted. The waiter was extremely helpful and offered to place us in another table. The entire staff was very friendly and attentive. The goat cheese & roasted beet salad was a bit small, but all of the food was very good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

    Overall our experience at Brix was very disappointing. This dinner was supposed to be our Anniversary dinner and I thought it would be special after viewing the Brix website. The menu online does not resemble the actual menu at all. We thought we were in the wrong resturant! The table we were setted at might have a nice view, but I could not see it due to the sun setting. Our waiter, when we asked to have something done with the blinds, told us the sun would be behind the hills in 5 to 10 minutes! We decided after eating a salad and drinking a glass of wine that we would try to celebrate our Anniversary on another night. Which we did with a wonderful evening at La Toque.

    On Monday I had a 2006 Selene Savignon Blanc at Brix in the Napa Valley. The bottle had a significant amount of sediment in it which the wine expert explained as nitrites. I have never (at least I don't remember ever) seeing such sediment in a good bottle of recent vintage white. Selene Winery told me that the wine was stored improperly at the restaurant. (too cold, too long).

    We've been dining at Brix for many years. Although still good, its menu choices have decreased over that time while prices have increased more than warranted. The staff remains excellent. Overall though, I'd say it's declined.

    BRIX was an awesome place to have dinner, the service was excellent helpful and nice and the food was wonderful. The wine list was just right. I would recommend this to anyone who is going to Napa and wants a nice and relaxing place to go with great food and great wine.

    I have dined at Brix many times and absolutely love the atmosphere and would surely return. However, on this most recent visit the food left a little to be desired. The caeser salad did not have the sourdough crutons as the menu suggested and the chicken (my second choice as they were out of the lamb) with spinach and pancetta was missing the pancetta. Our server was I suppose pleasant enough though nothing worth special mention.
