Located in the heart of Napa Valley! 1 Mile North of Yountville on Highway 29. Take a walk around the grounds or through the vineyard after your meal. You are sure to fall in love with our property. We have 25 raised beds of herbs and vegetables that supply our kitchen on a daily basis so take a minute to stroll around and see what is ready to be harvested! If you are celebrating a Birthday, Anniversary, or other special occasion, please note that restaurant policy is to provide custom handwriting on the plate of the person celebrating when you order dessert.

    The food was outstanding. The service was spotty: slow, items forgotten, wine spilled. Desserts were complimentary as a good-will gesture, which we appreciated. Something seemed out of sync in the kitchen, into which we could see and hear. Maybe just a quirky night. Nothing bad enough to keep us from returning, especially since the new chef's food was great.

    Great food and wine, though the young waiter was not very efficient. Had to wait a while for our table and the group sitting at the table near us was quite loud. Can't wait to see it after the renovation - good luck! General manager was quite gracious, showed us the wine room. Great view of the gardens.

    The food was delicious and beautifully presented. It was fun watching the pastry chef make magic with her torch for the creme brulee. I had the strawberry/cherry sunday. Delicious! Our server was knowledgeable, attentive and personable. I loved my risotto. White sauces tend to become over powering the more you eat, but the sauce in the risotto was so delicate that I wanted more even though I was full. It was a memorable evening. The owner/Manager(?) came over to our table and asked us if everything was to our liking. That was very nice and appreciated.

    We four of us had a great time at Brix this Memorial weekend. My husband ordered Chicken dish and that was the best one along with Lamb and Halibut, but my favorite was three layered carrot cake. We all agreed that Carrot cake was the best in the Northen California!! I want to go back for just Carrot cake any time.

    Beautiful though out food with wonderful presentation, delivered by a solid service. View is amazing and great for outside dining or even inside by a window on a not so sunny day. Wine pairings are fantastic!

    This was our first visit to Brix and we had friends in from overseas. The service and repast was delightful. Wonderful wine list! We had an early reservation and Brix was relatively quiet. Things definitely got hopping later in the evening! So if you are looking for a quiet, romantic evening, this probably isn't the place. But for a pleasant evening with friends... just the spot!

    Didn't like the flavored Ice Tea and it was not mentioned that it was flavored when ordered. The hamburger looked and tasted like it had been steamed instead of cooked on a flame or grill. The cauliflower soup with shrimp was excellant as was the beet salad. Not the best in Napa for food but we will try it again sometime. Thanks PS: Even though it was available to book through Open Table, there were no points awarded for lunch. If you can book through Open Table at any time, then there should be points awarded anytime.

    have dined at brix many times before and always loved the food and patio dining. this time, however was another story. they had some new bright yellow chairs on the patio that were awful and very uncomfortable, so much so that some of our party had to switch chairs. then there was the menu, which had changed dramatically. no more scrumptious calamare on the appetizer menu and the risotto, that several in our party ordered, was just plain awful. looked and tasted like watery oatmeal and were was hte freshly grated parmesean cheese that usuall accompanies it? desserts and cocktails were great, as usual. service was so-so. will not go back to brix unless the old chef comes back! so sad!!!

    We have been going to Brix for Mother's day brunch for several years. We have always enjoyed our time there and it has become somewhat of a family tradition. This year they changed their format from a buffet to a regular menu. This was very disappointing. This was the first year that I had brought both my wife and my mother and there was an expectation of the quality of the experience that just did not come through. In addition, the staff was not on their game and the overall service was sloppy and non-attentive. I very much doubt that we will come back again.

    The food was very good, but the service wasn't as good. The waiter was very prompt at at the beginning i.e. taking our order and wine, but it took long time for the waiter to come back to take our dessert order and port wine. In addition, we didn't get our port wine, until we were half way done with the dessert.

    A great experience. Reservations were without a hitch. The food was fantastic. We were on our way to an event and let the waiter know. He kept us on track without rushing us, we made it to our event in plenty of time. The back patio setting is beautiful, serene and the gardens are lovely. We definitely plan to return.

    We have eaten twice at Brix - each time with another couple, and each time around 6 pm on the patio. My wife LOVES al fresco dining and this is one of the premier spots for that, on a warmer evening. The service has been outstanding - they seem to have someone assisting the maitre 'd who roves around and notices when a diner has a request, so when our waiter was occupied, this fellow was right there, asking what he could do!) Although we are not "foodies", the cuisine demonstrates consistent care, skill and attention, and was VERY tasty. But, it is the relaxed, classy setting that has us opting for Brix over many other fine and often crowed Napa Valley dining venues.

    Disappointing. Wait staff either untrained or unpolished. Musssels arrived without a spoon to enjoy the broth and no bowl for shells and wait staff acted as though I was strange to want them. Busboy training was taking place at the table next to us during our lunchand not very successfully from the look of things...tablecloth on with hem up and stained at our table. At the end our waiter said Brix would be closed for 2 weeks in June for a complete makeover and we would be thrilled with all the new surroundings. I don't think they get it...new surroundings will not help indifferent waitstaff and passable food...not when there are so many great alternatives within a few miles...we will not be returning.

    Service was a trainwreck. It took us 3 hours to eat a meal--and not by choice. Took 20 minutes for us to get a waiter. After seeing us wait (we grabbed anyone we could find), the manager said she would take care of us with some apps. To our surprise, she ordered our party of 6 people only 2 apps (a burger which we requested and a carpaccio-two dishes not friendly for our female guest 3 men/3 women). What surprised us even more: both appetizers showed up on our bill--we thought we would get apps comped for our terrible service. Brix is a joke.

    Beautiful setting. Brix is redoing their garden of herbs and flowers. Staff is friendly and service is excellent. Food was very good. We were there just after they had opened for lunch, so it was not busy at that time. It was very busy when we left. I would definitely recommend Brix for lunch/brunch.
