amazing service, we had two waiters through-out the dinner. Had the Filet and it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. appetizers were a little mismatch (potstickers and chicken wings) compared to the finer options like steak, salads and a la cart sides. Definitely recommend the desserts. We had the chocolate souffle and coconut cake and the portions were huge and delicious. For the scene people, the bar is huge and when we went their was a Dallas Mavs BBall player getting food togo so you're bound to run into someone rich, famous, or hopeful.

  • A Successful Holiday Dinner
    OpenTable Diner Since 2011

Holiday dinner with out-of-town friends. All had steaks, the New York strip, the filet, and the ribeye. My New York strip was so flavorful, I didn't need to add any additional seasoning. Also prepared to my specific order, medium well, pink in the center. My party also had the deviled eggs with truffle oil appetizer and they raved about those. The tomato and mozzarella salad, with a different twist of ranch dressing drizzled over top, was delicious. Our server, Eric was very friendly, well informed on the menue items, wine selection advice and service was well-timed. Merry Christmas.

We had our staff Christmas party at the grill. It was fun and very energetic. The service was impecable from the front door, to the manager, wait staff, all of them went over and above for our small little get together. the food was excellent. We could not have picked a better place for our party. However, the acoustics need some work. It is extremely noisy when the place is full.

  • Don't valet here
    OpenTable Diner Since 2011

Overall the food and drinks were really good...however, the valet ran my 6 month old BMW in to something and scraped up my front bumper really bad. I spoke with the manager (Dot maybe?) about it the next day and she assured me she would take care of it and have the valet company call me. She also claimed she would follow up with me the next day to make sure everything was settled. I never heard back from either party, which is pretty frustrating. I realize they outsource their valet to another company, but it would have been nice if she would have followed up like she said she would. I would go back, but I will find somewhere else to park.

we loved the restaurant but our waiter keep trying to up charge the bill. If we ordered one of something he tried to get us to get three. He kept pushing food on us. We ordered an appetizer but he wanted us to order 2 He kept coming back so often to try to get us to order more drinks that we couldn't even get a flow of our conversation going It was becoming so ridiculous we had to just tell him no when he'd come to the table. Then to top it off as I'm sliding out of the booth to leave he tries to sell me gift cards and some kind of cake. I'm thinking he must be working off commission. The night was perfect except for the hard sell. We all agreed he kind of ruined it for us.

our time at Del Frisco's Grille was great. the place is loud but it is very enegetic and nobody seems to care about the noise. the food was delicious. One of my friends ordered the filet mignon and they overcooked it a little. she told them and they brought her another one in less than 5 min. I think they took one off the grill that was for someone else. But i guess the paying customer what does it matter, it was back in jiffy. For the price this place is great and has class, without breaking your wallet!

It was one of those meals where I enjoyed it, until the bill came. And then I thought, "Was that really worth $300?" And the answer was "No." I would come back for lunch or drinks, but it's too pricey for dinner to be more than a special occasion restaurant or me.

Not impressed with the food or service, but the dessert and 2nd floor patio will bring me back again. I tried the egg rolls and ahi tacos to start. Those took over 20 minutes. So that set the standard for the rest. The entree presentation was very nice and the serving size was generous so 2 could share (almost). The dessert is where they got me smiling. Coconut creme pie covered in white chocolate shavings. 4 of us shared it. Next time I will sit upstairs on the patio, people watch and only order dessert. :)

Living in uptown you see a lot of restaurants come and go. So when Del Frisco's started the new concept of the Grille I was intrigued to taste the food! I went in on a Friday around noon and the place was buzzing with customers and excitement! I took a seat at the bar where I was greeted by Kara in minutes. The menu I saw was very well priced and offered a lot of tasty options. I have heard that the acclaimed executive chef from Del Frisco's David Holben had a hand in the making of the menu; which sparked my interest even more. I ordered the Prime Cheeseburger at the suggestion of Kara (priced well I thought a double patty burger with fries for $13). Few minutes later it came out and it was AMAZING! Very tasty and out of this

With the exception of the overly noisy bar area, food service was great. I guess if you want to have the romantic, quiet dinning experience the Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House is the better choice, especially since they are both priced the same and have a much larger menu.

A little bit more downscale than the Del Frisco Double Eagle with more sandwiches etc. Nice place but dining is close to the bar and very noisy. The best part of our dining experience was the service and the dedication of all the staff to providing a good dining experience. I would give the service another star if it was available. I had the chpped Grille Salad, quite tasty with lettuce tomatoes, carrots et al. Wife had the Ceasar salad which is a large and very good salad. Both were good. For some reason I can't recall now, I had the veal/mushroom meatloaf and parmesan frites. Wife had the filet, good as expected, equal to the Double Eagle steaks. The desert was Coconut cream pie and it is to die for, don't miss it.

The food was great. The wait was not. We had a reservation for 9:00, and were not seated until after 10:00. When we arrived, the hostess said there would be a little wait. No big deal, we thought. We'll just grab a drink. At 30 minutes past our reservation time, we went back to the hostess. She said we were the next two top that she would seat. As we watched several other two tops get escorted to their seats in the next 20 or so minutes, we got extremely frustrated. We went back to the hostess, noting that others had been seated before us. She lied and said they were meeting larger parties upstairs. We know this to be a lie, as we were eventually seated right near them. The food was really good, but being lied to ruined this experience.
