Fantastic, had the special- Alaskan Red Rockfish. It may have been the best fish I have ever had. The wine list was very good only drawback might be they only had a few by the glass options. Not a problem if you are planning on having more than a glass. My wife had spicy red sauce with clams mussels and calamari. The flavor was wonderful. The calamari was a little over cooked but still very good. Would definitely come back again!

My wife and I were very impressed with The Pink Door and I wish I could rate it 4.5 stars. I had the Lasagna Pink Door and she had the bolognese. Both were excellent and portion sizes were refreshingly medium sized instead of being massive. Since it was her birthday dinner, we knew we wanted dessert and the portions were right on for not feeling overfull with dinner and dessert. She had the chocolate lava cake and I had the Bongo Bongo (profiteroles). The lava cake was quite good as was the chocolate around everything but the profiteroles were a bit hard, but were still good overall. Overall a great dining experience and I look forward to going back.

The food was amazing(we tried the lasagna and sturgeon, and molten cake.) The service was pretty slow, and the server seemed awkward and didnt know the correct specials, at the end of the night he also did not give back our credit card, which we did not notice until the next day when we had to cancel it because they were not open. Great ambience, very cozy.

My first time for coming here, recommended by friends. WOW! I loved it!! The food was excellent, and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The ambiance in the bar was fun, and in the dining room charming! Will go back another time when the Trapeze Artist is there. Ladies, be sure and go to the Ladies Room; I took pictures of it (very fun and artsy).

friday night at 6:00 PM. Seats in the corner with a gas pipe against the seat back (really!). So dark we couldn't read the menu without the flashlight on our cell phones. No waiter arrived so after 10 minutes we asked the hostess where our server was...she did get a server who was quite rushed and ran through the menu in about 15 seconds. The food was hot & well done. Otherwise, we saw no reason to return. Service, noise, lighting were extremely bad...

My wife and I were disappointed in The Pink Door. Our server was polite and competent, but we didn't love the food. The appetizers were fine but the main courses did little for us. My wife's "simply grilled" steak was a roulade of all sorts of ingredients that she had to pick around. My wild boar stew wasn't nearly as good as wild boar pasta I had at another restaurant recently. And as for the ambiance, the hostess was, on and off throughout the time we were there, using a paper cutter to quite loudly saw off butcher block paper for the tables -- prep that should have been done before guests arrived. It was so loud as to be distracting and annoying and at one point I almost got up to walk over and ask her to stop before she did on her own.

I ordered the butternut squash ravioli which was really good but the portion was to small, and I am not a big eater. The service was great and the atmosphere very elegant! It was also our first time and even though there was a pink door I think a small sign indicating we were at the right place would have been nice-unless I missed it!

There were all ages there with nothinng but smiles on their faces and enjoying thier time. we went on a Sunday so we could watch the Aerialist and she was amazing and so friendly to talk to talk. She was joking with my husband saying he was next up to perform. You will not be disappointed no matter if you are going for a romantic date or with a great group of friends. It's a lovely venue in a great location. An intimate environment that can be enjoyed on a romantic date or a party with the girls. The food is good, not much more. The menu offering was a little 'heavy' for our liking and at 8pm they had run out of fish, which seemed strange for a Seattle restaurant thats across the road from Pike Place Market... There is a Burlesque/Cabaret show that starts at 11pm and was supposed to last a minimum of 90 minutes, it's $15 per person + drinks. Ours lasted 50 minutes and although there was some humor with it being "out there" it really was not a great show and certainly not worth the cash after what is not a cheap restaurant. I would recommend the restaurant but not the show. Service & wine list are good

We went for my son's 18th and were a tad early and were told our table was not ready (sent to "the back, the stage, you'll see" and we went through a crowd of tables and honestly looked for seats-none so we sat on the stage, no problem but could she not have taken us to it since it was not so obvious where to go? Hostess? Anyways, everything else was great. The food wonderful for traditional Italian cuisine and the bread was amazing and casual warm atmosphere fantastic. Fun getting there and a memorable evening. Music kinda came and went. La Vie en Rose which played after each performance could have been another Piaf favorite each time.

The ambiance is great at this place and the food is good. Not over the moon absolutely incredible food but definitely one of the better restaurants in Seattle, on a decent price level. It's the ambience that makes me come back to Pink Door over and over again though. The amber lighting, the cool location and decoration.
