Sometimes tapas style come across only as a good way to spend a lot of money on bread, olives and cheese. NOT at Ravish!!! Here Kelly Daly continually comes up with as diverse and delectable tapas style of cuisine as you will find in the city. EVERY dish has a surprise taste twist that is exciting and satisfying. Luke McKinley's bar chemistry is pure magic as well!

This was our second trip to Ravish and both times the food is inventive yet not pretentious and always tasty. Several menu items perfect for kids- i.e. the Pigs in a Blanket. We had the chicken liver pate and it was delicious. The drinks and bartender's personal attention to us and our drinks made us love this place the first time. The perfect Manhattans this time did not disappoint. Happy hour is a great deal and includes good food drink.s,i.e. the Manhattan ! And both times we got dessert - we don't usually but their selection is fun and comforting enough to seduce and the Theo chocolate brioche bread pudding was wonderful. The servers are equally personable and attentive. It's a wonderful dining experience and is now a go-to for us.

Ravish is a small place, spartan, but nicely furnished in a way that gives some character to the space. Well-thought-out menu of small plates you can mix and match. At brunch, the potato latkes are very good, and most things display a nice sense in the kitchen of taste combinations. The complimentary fresh-baked spice breads (pumpkin at this last visit) to start is a very nice touch.

The quinoa salad was the greatest, with wonderful piquant flavor. Chickpeas, wilted arugula, and other goodies made it a spectacular find. Generous serving over fed the vegetarian in our group of four, with plenty to share with the three omnivores. Crab cakes and skewers were also delicious. Green salad did not disappoint. We will be back, and may ask them to cater an upcoming wedding. Marvelous! Ambiance is perfect for a neighborhood bistro.

Came for dinner -- it's tapas style and there were several interesting and nicely prepared things -- and now most recently for brunch. That was even better: imaginative preparations, excellently done. The latkes, topped with a pile of chopped bacon, had an extraordinarily complex and good taste; the smoked salmon hash was even better, with all the tastes of the salmon, excellent roasted potatoes, onion, pepper, and egg distinct yet blending into a great-tasting whole; the croque monsieur was made with great ingredients and had an unusual and good light gravy-sauce, all on a to-die-for biscuit.

I hesitate to give an honest review of Ravish. Yes - it's selfish of me, but I want to keep this gem a secret. Ravish opened up a few years ago three blocks from my house which makes it easy to get to but honestly - I'd drive here if I had to. The interior is sharp and creative. It's a small restaurant may 10-12 tables, with a teeny bar, but I love this place. The menu boasts a solid menu with specials doing as specials do: change every night. The wait staff is genuinely friendly (they'll remember your name) without being overkill. Drinks? They stock a small but well thought out inventory of hard liquor and wine, and are happy to create a drink for you. Desserts are all wonderful. I will never grow tired of coming here.

We enjoyed our experience at Ravish. The cocktails were delicious and the shareable plates were reasonably priced. The steak skewers and the beet salad were are favorites. The steak was tender and flavorful with the chimchurra spices. The beet salad with blue cheese and candied walnuts was a perfect blend. We were impressed with the homemade desserts including homemade ice-cream and sorbet and wish we had room in our stomaches to try them all. A great place for friends to chat and snack the night away.

My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary with dinner at Ravish. This was our first time at the restaurant and we will certainly return. The atmosphere is absolutely romantic - a beautiful mix of chabby chic meets Parisian flair. The food was simple yet elegant. I adored the Sweet Potato Latkes and my partner could not get enough of the baked brie (with carmel and apples). The portions are not huge but are adequate and reasonably priced. The house wine was also a tasty surprise. The only "con" was the slow service. Once our food was finally ordered - they did serve us as soon as the food arrived. Highly recommend this for an impromptu dinner for someone special. The menu has something for everyone.

Interesting menu, very good quality, great service. If you are tired of the same old same old, Ravish is a very nice change of pace. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Seating is not what I would call comfortable - some wood benches. Ambience is so-so. Not really a "romantic" place, but kind of cozy nonetheless. Definitely worth trying if you are looking for something refreshingly different.

While not exactly in a vibrant zone of neighborhood bustle, or perhaps because of it, Ravish is an exciting alternative to cavernous mayhem with routine cuisine. The exceedingly pleasant, modest space is actually accommodating for an audible dinner conversation over thoroughly enjoyable, reasonably-proportioned plates. Not only does it make for a pleasant dining experience, but the bartender is dynamite!......how often can you get a perfectly made pisco sour in this town?!

Great cocktails and a neat atmosphere. Its open and isn't quiet but not tool loud either. The menu is limited but everything we had was good. The small plates style enabled my dining partner and i to order four different food plates: beet salad, potato latkes, steak skewers, flatbread. All were fresh and flavorful. Slightly disappointing was the flatbread special (grilled peaches, arugula, olive oil, prosciutto) which was a bit dry and more bready than i prefer. My finely crafted cocktail---a daily special of rye whiskey, grapefruit juice, fresh mint, and an olive---was creative and killer. Service was a bit slow at first, but was attentive once we placed our order. Am planning to check out brunch a weekend soon.

This is a great neighborhood restaurant that could be a city wide draw, but doesn't really want to be. Instead, it has a relaxed atmostsphere and doesn't try to do too much. What it does do is very good. The cocktails are excellent, the menu is limited, but everything was very good. The kale ceaser was perfect - not over dressed. The mac and cheese was wonderful. The crab cakes and pigs in a blanket were good, but not great. The prices were reasonable and the staff was attentive.

We really liked Ravish! Especially great if you're not in a rush and just looking to spend time with someone. I wouldn't recommend for parties much larger than four, and thought it was actually quite perfect for just two. The service was nice, but not speedy by any means, so just get ready to relax. The food was very tasty - our favorite was the sweet potato latkes - seriously, we were thinking about them for days after. Some fun drink choices too! Nice atmosphere and I like to spend time in this neighborhood, so we'll be back!

The atmosphere is pleasant and a little eclectic. Most of the items we ordered were good especially the mini pigs in a blanket and the pumpkin polenta. The only bad thing was the chicken skewers which were a bit too thick, kind of dry and very bland. The service was a bit off - we ordered two dishes at the same time and mine arrived and was finished before the other arrived and only after we asked for it a second time. It was obvious that other tables were getting much better service (especially those with younger, hipper clientele). Because of that I really can't bring myself to recommend it to anyone else. We might go back.

The food was tasty, but presentation could have benefitted from a little extra attention. (My dining companion did not enjoy the sweet potato latkes, and said that the steak skewers looked "scary" but he knew they would taste great.) The service was friendly, but spotty and water glasses were empty for much of the meal. No one came to check on how we were enjoying our food. The ambiance is cozy, cute, and the bar is beautiful. Ravish has lots of promise, but service could use an overhaul.
