Russell’s Smokehouse is a nod to an early time, to the spirit of the West and the cowboy tradition of cooking over a slow, low flame. Our specialty is not in the sauce (which is why we don't call it barbecue), but in the rich smoke and the method of cooking.

    Russell's was great! I grew up in Kansas and miss the wonderful KC BBQ. This was a fun twist on a favorite. The meats were great and the sides were more interesting than your normal beans and slaw. It's more of a high-end BBQ and people who aren't normally big on BBQ will find something they like. It feels like a secret place and makes for a neat vibe. I'll definitely be back!

    The food at the smokehouse was excellent. I had the sausage and my guest had the pulled pork. Our side dishes were also excellent especially the cornbread and mashed potatoes. Everyone at the Smokehouse was friendly and courteous. I will return soon.

    Great food and service! The Colorouge Fondue was fantastic and Russell's serves one of the best roast & smoked chicken I've ever tasted.

    Drinks, appetizers and desert were excellent, but main course was a disappointment. I ordered the combination rib platter based on recommendation from our server, who said the meat was so tender it would fall off the bone. I found the ribs to be tough and difficult to cut off the bone, which was especially disappointing given the price. I'm a big fan of most of Frank Bonnano's restaurants, but won't rush back to this one until they work out the kinks.

    YUMMY! We had the Mushroom Dynamite, Confit Chicken Wings, Combo Ribs baby back/beef/pork and a piece of the peanut butter/chocolate pie. We also enjoyed some delicious drinks....Southern Belle being one of them. It was all VERY DELICIOUS...fall of the bone meat that was full of flavor, and creamy, cheesy, yummy mushroom dynamite. We will be back!
