    Fantasic gourmet food and the service is first class. I've never had a salad where the lettuce was actually "tender" yet crisp. Your going to easily spend $60-$80 per person and everything is a la carte. I was a little annoyed with the $3 per soda for a little glass bottle of a mini size coke. I don't like being nickle and dimed when I'm paying $45+ for a steak and $8 for a potato. I can see paying for gourmet food but come on, $3 for a soda? Are they going to start charging for toilet paper next?

    Enjoyed being pampered in a lovelys setting with great food. I had a birthday party here in Jan in their Private dining room and just loved everything about it. Always a pleasure to dine here. VERY,VERY EXPENSIVE.

    Great food & service. It got a little warm in the restaurant but staff was quick to crank down the A/C/. We dinned with 2 other couple (6 total) and service was very good. Everyone was happy.

    Having recently moved to South Florida, we are having a hard time finding very upscale restaurants that match the quality of so many of the wonderful establishments in Atlanta. AFter trying Riley's, Timpano, and Jackson's, which all failed to one degree or the other, Abe and Louie's (one of my favorites from my Harvard days), has translated beautifully to Boca Raton. Great food, nice space, vibrant scene, and the truly upscale crowd replacing the wanna-bes so common in Fort Lauderdale. A definite must-return place.

    A great place for lunch or dinner, certainly during the quieter days of summer. Really pleasant and efficient service and an all around fine meal. It gets a bit hectic during the "season", but that is South Florida dining and when you live here, you deal with it.

    The food was very good but the service was disapointing. Our server was more interested by the amount of the bill than making us confortable. The bill was 151$ and when he saw the two bills of hundred, he asked me if I need the change after I left a 18% tip he turned his head and din't say goodbye when we left.

    The entire experience was amazing from the staff whom made us feel like royalty to the excellent wine selection to the food which was delicious...It was my friends birthday and I had ordered flowers to be delivered to the restaurant..they were on our table when we arrived and to my suprise they were beautiful....thanks for a wonderful evening.....

    Table service was very good as was the food, although a bit pricey, it was also loud, especially near the bar. At arrival the maitre'd and sign in for a table seemed very disorganized, I had to remind the maitre'd five times and he kept telling me "two minutes". Then when I received an e-mail from open table telling me I did not honor my reservation I was rather upset. I know it was his fault for not properly entering my name, if that is how it's done. I probably will try this restaurant again, but not on a regular basis.

    The food was excellent and the service very good too. Only problem is that we were sat next to a large group (over 12) of loud men. Its a shame that you didn't put them in the back room. They were underdressed for the resturant and along with a loud family with small children nearby it wasn't the vibe that you expect from Abe and Louies. We were celebrating our son't 19th birthday and it was really loud.

    Boca is notable for a wealth of good steak houses. Less than a quarter mile from the well established New York Prime (and Morton's) one could imagine Abe & Louie's were punching above their weight when they built only their second outlet in the country in Boca (the first is in Boston). The snobbish and overrated old guard at NYP must be hurting, because the relative new kid has established themselves in a different class. Abe's compliments a menu of the finest beef around with a slew of Boston style hearty seafood favorites. There's something for the pickiest of eaters on the menu. Their generous sides are consistently great and whoever selects the wait team has an eye for friendly and efficient people lacking the arrogance of NYP servers.

    Consistantely a great restaurant....Professional, friendly service makes dining a pleasure...This is a meat eaters dynasty...Portions are large and can be shared if you are an average eater however, we do see many people order their own large steaks!! Reservations during the busy season are a must but during the summer you can walk right in. When we absolutly want a great meal we go to Abe and Louie's

    It was my birthday, and we had 7 people in our party. 3 of us ordered the special of the night, Beef Wellington. 2 of us sent it back, and the other person ate half and didn't like it. By the time our new entrees came everyon else had eaten. We were also not given much of a choice to decide on a replacement entree, because there were no beef wellingtons left. WE order champagne for a toast in the beginning, and we were eating our appetizers when the waiter came over to say the champagne we ordered was not available. I just told him to pick a comparable one and bring it right away. My Aunt had a dry chopped salad, I shared a ceasar with my husband and it was also dry. Overall it was a big dissapointment.

    We went for our anniversary and made a reservation in advance and asked for a booth. We were sat in the back room with a bunch of groups. It was loud and rushed. Our teenage sons love to go for birthdays, but after that last experience I'm not sure I'll be back. It was diappointing.

    My girlfriend and I were looking for a very nice restaurant with some great service and food, we found it at Abe and Louie's. Our waiter (Vincent) was superb and the service was great. The food was prepared well, the espresso was good but could have been served a little hotter, the dessert selection was excellent. My girlfriend wanted to order the Chocolate Soufflé but the menu suggested that due to the preparation of this dessert to order it with dinner. We asked Vincent if it was possible to get the Soufflé, he assured us it wouldn't be a problem and it was wonderful. We really enjoyed this retaurant and I didn't think that the price was too extravagant. We will going back again and again.

    Quite possibly one of the best steaks I have ever had and I have been all over the country to all the 'best' steakhouses. Ordered the 24 oz Bone-In Ribeye and it was an amazing cut of meat, cooked perfectly and served in a bowl-type plate to hold in all of its juices. My wife ordered a filet mignon stuffed with clams and wrapped in bacon which was also amazing. French Onion soup is fantastic and our side dishes were the sweet potatoe fries, very good, and their signature hash browned potatoes which I have to be honest weren't that great. Restaurant is designed in the classic steakhouse style with lots of dark wood, marble, brass, etc. Fantastic phone book size wine list for all you oenophiles and great service. Pricy, but, YOU MUST GO!

    The server and hostes didn't tell my party about any special dishes for the day. After ordering and eating our first course, we overheard another server telling the next table the chef specials. We would have ordered the special dishes instead of the mediocre food we ate. This was supposed to be a brunch but it had very little breakfast food. I wasn't pleased with our experience. This was our first time at this venue and will probably never go back.

    The food was phenomenal and the portions huge, however, the prices are a bit steep. Additionally, by 8pm, the place was so noisy, you could barely hear anyone speak at your table and I believe that's due to the fact that the tables are so close together being the place isn't that large.     The service was stupendous and the food was to die for. It was my wife's birthday and they treated her like a queen. It was a very personable evening with delicious, well prepared and presented delights. Even the other diners were friendly and smiling.
