Our server was a bit distracted, and not very efficient. I ordered ribs and found them to be barely cooked with too much BBQ sauce. I definitely would not recommend them. My wife's Filet was cooked properly and she said it was delicious. The background music was way too loud and when asked, they lowered the volume somewhat. There were no greeters and a sign at the reception desk said "Seat Yourself". For an upscale restaurant, this one leaves something to be desired. We won't be back.

I had the roasted chicken, my partner had the pasta primavera. The food was pretty good, the sizes ample, and the service quick and attentive. Still wouldn't go back though, just because of the prices. Everything was fine, but not good enough to justify the prices. Somehow, our two entrees and two drinks cost over $60 before tip. OK if you are staying at the hotel, and have an expense account. No reason for locals to venture here.

We were seated in the back corner, when there was a LOT of room elsewhere in the restaurant, so that seemed strange. Our waitress was complaining about their computer system not working correctly, but she was sweet. The food was pretty good, but very expensive for what it was.

The food selection was very good as shown by the nice online menu. Every item we had we enjoyed. The service was very good. There was a team who often came over to inquire about our ordering, more soda, etc., but not overbearing - very helpful. The problem was that upon arrival the restaurant had closed the dinner area and where we sat was at a table of our choosing in the bar area. The music was very loud, so that while sitting next to our party we had to speak loudly. The table was small, typical for what one would expect at a bar. There was occasional cheering while people followed the sports on TV. This was effectively a sports bar on this day, although unexpected. I recommend it as a sports bar that day, unexpected.

The selections we made for dinner ( a walleye and a salmon - both farmed) were well prepared and the service was excellent. Menu selections were limited, however. In an area where you can obtain wild caught seafood for about the same price they are going to have a difficult time in attracting many diners who are looking for something more. We were staying at the hotel, and were to tired to go out for a different location - so we choose to stay in. Again, the selections we had were done well, and the server we had performed admirably. We have heard that the management of the restaurant and lounge were under new management and were trying to make improvements - I would try them again if we were back in town.

Arrived at restaurant to find that dining area was not open and all traffic was directed by a sign to find a table in the bar/TV area. Spoke to waitperson abut our reservation. Soon the manager appeared, apologized and had table set up in the regular dining area. This was very nice because we were the only ones in the room so the noise level was very low and the four of us could carry on conversation in very normal tones. Service was very good so that, inspite of the initial delay, we made it to the theatre in plenty of time for the first curtain. Menu varied but seemed quite ordinary to me. Looked more like a good lunch place.

Attending a nearby conference and with limited time to eat, we called ahead with our pre-order for noon. Upon arrival, they immediately knew who I was and our order, showed our group to a reserved table, and brought out our food. Service was so speedy that we had time to leisurely enjoy our lunch, have a conversation, and still make it back to the conference on time. Thanks, Skywater. I have a return reservation in 2 weeks.

We were at a conference at the convention center and needed a place to grab lunch for 8 of us. The walk up lunch spots were packed, so I threw a reservation in via opentable to ensure us a spot. We were seated quickly and asked to have our order taken right away as we needed to get back to the conference fairly quickly. The waiter obliged and actually took our order about as quickly as I have ever seen. The food came out quick, and was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant (downtown Hilton). Don't know if I'd celebrate my anniversary there, but great food and great service. What more can you ask for.

There was nobody in the restaurant when we were there, so the service was very good. However, it adjoins the hotel bar which was very loud with a large group. The food was fine. I had the pasta Primavera with shrimp and the kids ordered off the kids menu. We shared the trio of brulee's for dessert and they were very good. We'd probably go back, but only in a pinch since there are so many wonderful restaurants near there.

Our family went to celebrate Mother's Day. This was probably the nicest buffet I've ever been to. Wait staff was very attentive. It almost seemed like there were too many waiters, esp. since it was buffet. The ambience was very elegant - right down to the giant chandeliers, silverware and the live classical guitarist. That being said, the food was good, but for the price, if you're not big eaters I don't know if it's really worth it. The omelet station was great, as were the shrimp cocktail and many desserts, but some of the appetizers (i.e. poached salmon) were not so great. A nice bonus was that kids under 6 eat free. Our 5 year old enjoyed the meal, so I'm glad we went. If we were ever in the area again, I would probably come back.

Staff was attentive without being obtrusive. Lively crowd in bar area as background noise. Food had mixed results. My friend said the beef barley soup was delicious and so was the large chopped salad. I ordered the special with the orange/basil chicken. The chicken was overly "chewy" and the sweet orange sauce overwhelmed any basil that might have been there. The chopped salad was fine -- nice balanced dressing. The carrot cake (came with special) was amazing and enough to share with at least one other person.

Very expensive Easter brunch, but good. We got the table that I asked for, but had a noisy, intrusive server. This made it hard to enjoy a quiet reunion, as we are at the age where we forget our stories and have to start over from the beginning ;) One of our party had a visual disability, but her hearing is just fine. This server seemed to think that one needs to shout at disabled individuals. Other than that, the food and its presentation was very good, and we all enjoyed it. I will be more assertive with servers like this in the future, and ask them to just come over when we ask them to, especially for a self-service brunch. I think that she was trying to give us extra attention because of our disabled friend, but it wasn't needed.

This was a fairly, nice brunch. I'm not sure it was worth the money. Most brunches give you at least 1 complimentary glass of champagne or a mimosa. Also, they tried to charge us for our 6 year old's meal when the website says "6 and under eat free". So, I had to argue our case with the waitress. It would have been nice if all wait staff would know the age limits of who eats free. The minimal food they had there was good but it was kind of limited choices. For $40 there should be more of variety. I may return but not for a few years.
