Thanksgiving late reservation is not recommended. Turkey was dry and presentation not like last year. I will probably not return.

The roast beef was cooked perfectly for my taste and the seasoning was superb. Cocktails were interesting and reasonably priced. Service was absolutely outstanding -- we showed up a bit before the restaurant opened and were greeted warmly and with great service at the bar the staff hadn't expected us so early. A hit!

Although we live about an hour and a quarter away, we choose the Clay Hill Farm for special occasions and just a romantic evening away. The restaurant is located on a tree farm. It is beautiful in the spring when the flowers bloom and enjoyable really any time of the year. The food is well prepared, with entrees for all tastes. The service is very good. Our waitress was attentive but not overbearing. She could answer questions about the food preparation.

Dining just the way it was in the late 70's, and early 80's. High back chairs with rollers, older than industry norm waitstaff, valet parking, prime rib specials....the only thing missing is a smoking section. Vintage.

We made an online reservation. I commented in the box it was our anniversary. Driving up the drive, there was a quiet, pretty, soothing ambiance about the exterior. We were greeted by a Hostess, who was very friendly, and wished us a Happy Anniversay. So far so good. We were then seated at a table, in the mix of everyone else. There were more private tables by with window with a view, but we didn't get to sit there. I ordered wine, and got a half a glass for $6.oo! The food was pretty darn good and done in a timely manner. Dessert was good also. The service, well that was like two people who didn't really want to be there. I don't like having two people wait on me.It's a little confusing, tries to be upscale, but ends up not quite up to par.

Wife and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniv. at the Clay Hill Farm.We have been here at least a dozen times and enjoyed each visit. The lobster bisque soup is not to be missed, one of the best ever. This was an exceptionaly busy evening, our requested table at time of reservation was not available, service though efficient was rushed. The overall quality of our meal was good, the bar service was great. Looking forward to our next visit.

The ambiance is awesome - food excellent - service very slow. There was too much time in between courses. Found the dining room to be extremely noisy (hard to talk with friends) and the language of a nearby table was uncalled for, which was not the fault of the restaurant.

We were vacationing in Ogunquit and visited three restaurants. Clay Hill Farm was our favorite! I had one of the specials for the night, pan seared scallops with fettucine and mushrooms. The scallops were moist and tender and the sauce was delicious! We will definitely be back!

a good experience @ CHF: good service, beautiful setting (altho interior decor is a bit tired), and well-cooked entrees with minimal sauces. real standouts were salads & dessert, both co-made by young woman named Becky, who delivered the dessert to our table. their variation on apple tart -- delicious!!! worth a visit if you are in York/Ogunquit area.

Restaurant was overall excellent. The best was the young man who was in charge of refilling water........never an empty water glass, or even partially empty. He was the greatest. And very polite. The waitress was professional and her service was good. We came on Friday night, September 30, just before the play at the Ogunquit. Our final tab reflected the discount for attending the play. All in all, can't wait to go back and don't know what took so long for us to go. The ambiance was thoroughly enjoyable.
