The restaurant is quaint and the steak was fantastic, however, the menu was limited and everything was ala carte. Prices for the steak was fair, but everything else was a bit on the high side.

Nice restaurant, friendly service and with enough space between tables(no feeling of crowdy ambient where you eat with your neighbors). Great porterhouse and delicious sorbet. We got their special Steaksauce bottle as gift!

W were greated by a friendly and couteous hostess. Moments later our waiter had our drinks in our hands. We wanted a steak for 3, 2/3 rare/med-rare, 1/3 med-well. the waiter said no problem. The steak, potatoes and creamed spinich all came out together. We received generous portions of the potatoes and spinich, then the waiter presented the steak, cooked to perfection and nicely sliced into thick 1/2 inch slices, perfect. The spinich & potatoes were great. The steak, had absolutely NO FLAVOR! We spoke to the waiter. He took some back to the kitchen. The chef, waiter and manager all agreed, and were very apologic, removed it from the bill & offered a new one. Absolutely the best resolution. To late to reorder, but WE WILL RETURN!!!!

For those in search of THE perfect Steak House with quality feel and SUPERB STEAK, here you will find a home From the welcome at the door to the excellent and friendly service, this restaurant is perfect. But the HSAT, this is a place for superb food. The porterhouse we had was second only in taste and tenderness to that found in the finest Kobe beef restaurant in Tokyo . Seldom do you get a steak cooked to perfection. This chef outdoes himself

The best steak I've ever had, and I've been everywhere. The sides are also perfectly done, and the pecan pie a-la-mode was to DIE for. Service was exceptional. We got there early on a Saturday night, so the place was pretty empty and quiet. I've been there on weekday nights where the place was jumping. Will be going back again and again.

This is Peter Luger taste at a slightly better price situated between the Brooklyn Bridge and the South Street Seaport. Centrally located near cobblestone streets, this steakhouse has some of the best cuts you will ever eat in your life along with service that's not snobbish and decor that's inviting including a TV-laden bar and sports memorabilia in the back.

Steaks are always delicious! Service is always a bit on the gruff side. Saturday night is definitely more pleasant as the feeling of the "old boys club" that pervades the place on weeknights is not in evidence on the weekend.

Very good dry aged steak, delicious creamed spinach (not over creamed), wine list with a wide variety of prices, and excellent service. The dining room has a great warm quality with a cleaner look than places like Luger's and The Palm, and without being too formal. The bar looks to be terrific place to have beer, dinner, and watch a game, and the much more casual bar setting makes jeans and golf shirt a good fit.

Everything we had was excellent. They do all of their steak right. Mashed potatoes and creamed spinach were great as were the hash browns. The oysters were pretty good although one wasn't up to par. New York cheese cake for dessert was good but the crust seemed undercooked. Be ready to spend big bucks here. Its a high end steak house and the prices reflect that. I would say the steaks were on par with peter lugars but the wait staff here was much better. I know the the rude lugar waiters are sort of an act but sometimes I don't want my legs kicked out of the way.

Very good porterhouse steak, though not equal to Peter Lugar's. The caesar salad and the mashed potatoes were great also. However, the unexceptional bread could be better. We enjoyed the key lime pie.
