What a wonderful evening we had recently at the Leopard Lounge Restaurant at the Chesterfield in Palm Beach.....We had just returned from Paris and found the food, staff, entertainment and ambience to be on a par with any restaurant that we had visited in Paris.....in fact, the food was better! We will definitely return....

When we arrived the service was little off. It took awhile to get water and menus. Once we did, our server was very helpful and pleasant. We started with their homemade chicken soup that came with a mini pot pie. We could have skipped the soup and went for just the crusty little pastries. Yummy. We ordered the shrimp stroganoff and the steak. Both were well prepared and had great flavor. We skipped dessert and had Chesterfield coffees and then a wonderful time dancing to the music of a live duo that sounded like and full band. The lounge was renovated but happily kept the really cool ceiling. You have to see it. This is a wonderful little jewel in the heart of Palm Beach. We'll be back.

We went to try to eat at the Leopard Lounge to find out if it would be an option for my Mom's 75th birthday party. The food was good with an unimaginative presentation. What bothered us most was the service: It was just super slow and impersonal. We ordered wine by the glass and were pretty sure that the glasses were switched. I tried for at least 15 minutes to catch the waitresses eye to no avail. When she finally did come over and I had the chance to tell her that my pinot grigio tasted like a sauvignon blanc and vice versa she insisted that she didn't switch it but also didn't offer a solution which would have been as easy as bringing a tiny sip of either one or the other wine to determine which is which.

Given the ambience, the reviews and the enthusiastic pitch from the maitre d' and our waitress, we thought we were in for something very special. We loved the dark wood/safari setting. The caprese salad was simple but wonderful. The chicken curry was highly recommended and the quality of the chicken was high but the curry sauce itself was just average. While the chutney made a nice counterpoint, it is not enough to order the dish again. We also ordered the shrimp stroganoff. The waitress said it was worth the calories, I didn't think so. Again, the shrimp was of high quality but the sauce was just average. I would go for drinks because it is a lovely place but try somewhere else if you are a foodie.

We arrived at the chesterfield hotel and walked in to the Leopard Lounge via the beautiful lobby of the hotel. I had the chicken schnitzel and my husband had the club sandwich. I always ask the waiter what to order. Amazing!! The décor is beautiful and elegant. We will go back and we live 3 1/2 hours away!

After our first visit to the Leopard over the weekend and talking with the great bartender, we came back for the Tuesday special. Special it was. The prime rib was one of the best I have had (the chocolate cake wasn't bad either). I love the atmosphere inside this lounge and the fact that there is live entertainment. What a great place!

When we arrived to a practically empty restaurant we asked if we could sit at the bar. The Maitre-d quickly cancelled our open-table reservation as we decided to sit at the bar. Leu made us the best Lemon Drop Martinis ever! However, the Curry Chicken was not good and very small portion for $28. If we go back, it will definitely for the great happy hour drinks and bar bites. We did enjoy the entertainment.

We are already looking forward to our next visit to the Leopard Lounge and Restaurant. From the warm greeting by the maitre d', who also gave us a tour of the menu, to the server's friendly, efficient service -- everything was great. We shared the crabcake appetizer, which was succulent lump crab meat that barely held together. My husband loved the chicken curry, and I had shrimp stroganoff, which was delicious. We shared the molten chocolate cake for dessert. Even the espresso was perfect. As we were leaving (at about 9 p.m.), the bar scene was heating up, with live music (singer) and people of a wide range of ages were streaming in. When we arrived (at 7 p.m.), a pianist was playing. Fun people-watching, too!

I was coming from Orlando and knew I would be getting to the Palm Beach area after lunch. I went on line and saw they served, "High Tea." My Mom had just moved two months ago and I wanted it to be special.....just us two. It was perfect, not crowded (arrived at 4:00pm), beautiful decor, attentiveness by the staff, and great food/Tea; Tea sandwiches, pastries, and fresh scones right from the oven with butter and jam. Looking for a fun delightful time for two or more? Try "Tea," at the Leopard Lounge located inside the Chesterfield Hotel, Palm Beach. You will not be disappointed. Deb G.

The 2 piece band at 9 PM was a disappointment for me and my partner who are ballroom dancers. The band didn't know the difference between a CHA CHA and a Rumba. They were not at all accomodating. No Waltz, No Foxtrot, No Tango for us. The dance floor was very small but not unexpected. It was a good surface.

We dined here as part of the hotel's package. A very good value given the quality of the food and the restaurant's atmosphere. While the package's menu was slimmed down (a la prix fixe), the available selections were diverse and satisfying. We were less pleased by the bar. The house Chardonnay and the gin & tonics were rather sub-par. The service was attentive and the omnipresent maitre d' made for an experience in which the staff truly cared about their guests. The room is perfect for a quiet or romantic dinner (at least on a Tuesday night) and the piano player adds a nich touch. Be sure to take in the painted ceiling and if you don't notice anything, look again.
