This was our third visit, and we were disappointed in the sevice we received. It took at least 40 minutes from the time we were seated to be served our meals! Right before the meals came our server gave us a very small 1/2 loaf of bread for 4 people. We had very positve experiences on our previous visits. We're not sure we'll return.

I have been to McCormick & Schmick's before and was satisfied with the food. On this trip, I ordered fish & chips (which I've had there previously). The fish was not cooked properly - the coating on the fillets was thick and tough and the fish was not flaky. I did have the mini chocolate truffle cake for dessert and it was wonderful.

I had never been to McCormick & Schmick's before but I will definitely be going back! My husband and I took my mother there to celebrate her 75th birthday. We were greeted warmly and the hostess wished her a happy birthday! Our server made a big deal over her birthday immediately upon greeting us. And, when we received our menu's they had been personalized with Happy 75th Birthday at the top of the page! They really made the evening a special one for her, and I truly appreciated that! Along with the wonderful service the food was terrific! It was a special evening and McCormick & Schmick turned out to be the perfect choice for the occasion.

it was almost 9:00pm so not too busy and we sat for 10 min before a manager came and took a drink order. she came back a minute later forgetting what the order was and then came with a bottle beer for my husband instead of draft (what he asked for), not bothering to ask if ok. we did get a waiter, he was pleasant, but did take beer glass away before empty. ordered halibut and tilapia entree's, they were very good, but never got bread with the meal!i would go again for the food, hoping for better service!

THE APPETIZER AND ENTREE WERE GOOD, WHILE THE DESSERT WAS DELICIOUS. THE SERVICE WAS GOOD BUT COULD BE IMPROVED. THE WAITER HAD A GREAT KNOWLEDGE OF THE MENU BUT I ATTEMPTED TO ORDER A SALAD AND HE WALKED AWAY, THEN WHEN HE FINALLY RETURNED TOLD ME THAT MY ENTREE WAS COMING OUT AND THE SALAD WOULD NOT BE OUT IN TIME. THE WAITER WAS VERY COURTIOUS AND POLITE. OVERALL, THE DINING EXPERIENCE WAS GOOD, BUT COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER.

The waitress was a bit intrusive (loud, not laid back). But the service was fine. One of the few downtown chain restaurants that serves good food. The bar is always a nice place for a casual dinner. The view of Fountain Square and the action on 5th street is entertaining.

We were really clear with our waitress that we needed to get to the Aronoff for the 7:30 performance, but we were late. Our food sat in the kitchen, and we had to chase down a different waiter, who brought them out (waited 20 minutes for the ahi appetizer). We had a hard time getting the check and the waitress just seemed annoyed with us, not the least bit apologetic or motivated. I got the feeling that we hadn't ordered enough liquor to make it worth her while...

It was a birthday celebration which I had noted to the restaurant in advance. The menu had the birthday boy's name on the menu, which was very nice. However, because we had a trainee and a regular server, which kept flipping back and forth serving us, they forgot that it was his birthday when it came time for dessert. I have had better service there.

The only problem I had was that I used Open Table Dining to make the reservation and was not credited my points because McCormick & Schmicks did not let Open Table know that I kept my reservation. I even informed the hostess that I made the reservation through Open Table Dining when we gave our name. This was a special occasion luncheon for a co-worker. Our food and dining experience were great. Our service was excellent. Using Open Table to make my reservation was easy and user friendly. I hope to receive the points I earned for this luncheon. I've been to McCormick & Schmick's in the past and this visit wasn't as good as previous. The food was not up to par in flavor or presentation. The texture of the risotto was off and was flavored differently from how it was described in the menu. The Atlantic Char was just OK. My wife's salmon was also fairly bland. It was disappointing.
