I've been going to McCormick's for either dinner, drinks, lunches or brunches for a long time. Unfortunately this was a pretty bad experience inasmuch as the service was slow - never did get that fork I asked for - and the food was cold and had "sogged" into the bread by the time it was delivered. In their defense it was noontime on a friday so they were very busy. I had an important client who insisted on having what I had - which is typically a wonderful dish but unfortunately was not this time. We waited about 30 minutes to receive our entree's-as did many other people (you could see in their faces that they were getting impatient) Not the worst experience but McCormicks had always been my "go to" place when I needed a winner, too bad.

It was a very enjoyable experience. I rated the noise factor as moderate. We had a table of six and right next to us was a table of eight. They came in after our meal was served and were quite noisy and the waiter had a hard time getting between the tables as they had added two chairs to their table. Having two large round tables could have been prevented as their were two tables of four on the other side. I would recommend that they should separate the two tables for six or eight on a permanent basis.

Excellent choice of fresh seafood. The portions are small, but plenty options so get 2 dinners if you have expendable cash. I will go back for the appetizer specials in the bar. The person who waited on us was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was very tasty, but pricey.

McCormicks is one of the VERY few good seafood restaurants in Colorado. We've have eaten here many times over the last 5 years and always been very happy with the seafood. Their selection of oysters is fabulous, especially being this far from the ocean. If you like seafood and grew up on a coastline this is the closest you will get in CO to what you were used to.

Trouble meetings others for lunch due to chaos in bar and confusion at hostess stand. I asked the hostess for help getting the other party to my booth, but her only help was "use your cell phone". Booth was too small - people in next booth banging on shared backrest very annoying. Noise level in restaurant side was out of control. I went with waiter's recommendation of crab/shrimp cakes, which was a mistake - they are the worst I have had in the area. Coffee was old, full of grounds. I would put up with the irritations in the dining room if the food had been better, but the food quality has really slipped since my last visit to this restaurant.

My wife and I wanted to have lunch prior to The opening day of baseball season for the Rockies. I couldn't get a noon reservation at any of the restaurants near the ballpark. The Denver downtown area was a madhouse. However I found I could get one at McCormick's. I had eaten at their restaurant on Union Lake in Seattle and knew they were a top notch restaurant. When we arrived we were seated immediately. I've found many times during crowded times a reservation doesn't mean you'll be seated at your reserved time. I had read on some reviews that McCormick's was very expensive, however I found the prices of the lunch menu reasonable. The food & service was excellent, and the noise level was low . I recommend it for lunch in Downtown Denver.

I had the unpleasant experience of finding a very long hair in my cup of clam chouder (appetizer). This ruined my and my wife's entire meal. The establishment compensated by providing us with a complimentary desert, not much conpensation for an $80 dinner that was spoiled. It will likely be a long time before we return.

We have eaten at McCormick's several times and have always considered it one of the best places we could pick for our special occasions. This time our expeience was less than sepcial. This trip to McCormicks was for our 40th wedding anniversary, I had asked that our menu have Happy Anniversary but, was told that thier printer was broken (how did the other menus get printed ?). We received no bread at our table. My wife ordered a 2nd glass of wine and didn't receive it until we we're having our after dinner coffee. The young man that served us seemed to interested in one thing getting us fed and out of there (the restaurant was less than crowded, so our table was not in high demand). We don't mind spending money ($170.00 etc.........)

I found the service and food to be very good. I met my sister for lunch and we had a very enjoyable time and were both extremely pleased with our orders. Our server was very attentive, which I appreciated. He openly made suggestions about appetizers and dishes he enjoyed and I think that is always helpful because it shows that the staff are familiar with the cuisine. I definitely will come back to McCormick's for lunch and definitely want to try the restaurant for dinner or happy hour.

My husband and I went to McCormick's on Easter evening for a romantic dinner. The restaurant was less than half full. Despite that, another party with a young child was seated in the booth adjacent. The child was a normal child, a bit loud and up and down quite a bit. Given all the space available, it would have been nice if that party had been seated further from us so we could have had a nicer experience.
