The food was very tasty and delicious however it was not piping hot when brought to the table like we like it. Appeared that it may have sat around a few minutes after prepared before being served. Dessert, key Lime Cheese Cake, was great.

We were greeted and seated immediately. Staff were attentive, food arrived in reasonable time. View of Lake Union is fantastic - sail boats & seaplanes roaming about. It was a good choice coming from out of town for a group birthday dinner.

It would have been nice if the bread arrived with our waters and not with our entrees. This is the only time this has happened to me. On other occassions, I have always had the basket brought to me soon after service has begun.

Food was tasty but with the exception of the mashed potatoes it was not exactly cold but barely warm. When the waiter, who had been very attentive up to that point, asked about the food we told him the situation. From that point on he virtually ignored us. Whether the wait person left it sitting to long because he was slow, or covering to many tables, or whether the kitchen was to slow to let him know the food was ready the result was the same, cold food. We told the maitre'd about it and he offered to comp the meals, which we declined. We don't go out looking for free food and have always in the past been happy with McCormick and Schmick. We will give them one more try.

I love M & S Harborside, but do not come up your way to often, but it is a treat and my favorite. I do use the Alaska Airlines coupons given to us when we fly in Jan. and that is a great incentive to get us up there, usually it is for a birthday celebration. The food is always very good. We will be back again soon for another occasion. :)

For a party of 5 adults, a 5-year old, a 3-year old and a 4 month old, this turned out to be a marvelous dining experience. The food, as usual, was excellent Although it was a a crowded, Friday night, our table was ready on time and the service was impeccable. Our waitress was especially nice and kid friendly as were a couple sitting right next to us. This is one of my favorite places to take family and friends when I venture over from Sequim.

  • Went for Easter Brunch --
    OpenTable Diner Since 2006
    Dined on 3/23/2008
Went for Easter Brunch -- great selection of food, waiter very attentive. However, it was a little weird having to walk down the office building hallway to a conference room to get the buffet. Also, most all of the food we had at 11:45 was luke warm. It almost felt like the room was set up too early with food and by the time the diners in that area started walking the buffet line, the food sat too long and was barely warm. Wasn't expecting this from a place of this caliber. Overall, the taste and selection however was really good. Price was a little high for what I ate. I would consider going back there again.

The best food item was the crab legs but we didn't receive the proper "tools" to eat them until late in the meal. The upstairs dining room was far from the buffet table and the open kitchen clearly needs a good scrubbing. Overall not a memorable experience.

We have always enjoyed this restaurant, but this visit was terrible. I think both the waitress and the kitchen were struggling as our food was stone cold and very late. When the waitress offered to take it back, we thought she was bringing us new food, but she told us they just reheated the plates. I won't pay $25 or more for cold then reheated fish and steak, that now was dry and STILL COLD. The 2 tables next to us were also very dissatisfied, and we left hungry. We will try it again - this may have been an isolated incident - but pretty noteworthy and I hope does not happen next time or we will make another choice.
