This restaurant has always been one of my favorites and they haven't disappointed. I haven't visited this establihment in over 6 years when I left Philadelphia. I'm glad they have one here in NY, I can't wait to try them. It was my boyfriend's first time here. He loved it. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in Philadelphia.

Food was good and lightly seasoned. I would have preferred more seasoning in the food. Note: I had the sea scallops with corn pudding and spinach. Sea scallops were excellent, however the corn pudding was bland, should have had more seasoning.

This experience would not have me returning to this dining spot. I received a very badly mixed drink, which was replaced, the white wine we ordered was not properly chilled and just set on the table so it continued to get warmer, While my husband's fish was very good I had Trout which had an odd taste from the skin which made me wonder if it was fresh. The chocolate cake my husband ordered had no taste and the out side edge tasted like it had been in a refrigerator too long. The meal was $168.00 with drinks and I would expect better quality and service for this amount of money. I would not recommend it to my friends.

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. We were in Philadelphia for our church's womens conference. Our waiter, Jeff was wonderful! It was a pleasure to have him for the evening. He was charming, witty, and truly exemplified what true Customer Service is. There should be more Jeffs in the restaurant industry!

The three of us were very disappointed in the food, and had to wait over an hour to be served. I ordered trout - it tasted so bad I couldn't eat it. I thought it might just be me, but my son and sister tasted it and agreed with me. My sister ordered stuffed shrimp, and she thought it tasted rubbery. They were very gracious and appologitic and didn't charge me for my food.

McCormick & Schmick's was a place that my wife suggested, honestly, I had never heard of this place. We were looking for a new place to celebrate our 23rd wedding anniversary. We have gone to Devon for the past several years and looked up your websight and figured we would give you a try. Well, we were not dissappointed. The Restuarant really lived up to the descriptions with the very high ceilings and the cozy booth we were seated at where we could see all who came into the main dining room. The hostess was very pleasant,as was our waitress and was knowlegable enough about the menu but never asked if we had ever dined there before. But the food was really good, my wife and I enjoyed every dish form appetizer to dessert. We love this place...

Topnotch service. Food arrived hot! Drinks quite good. Fast service, too; we were headed for the orchestra down the street and wanted to be on time. Oh, yes, can't beat the seafood here. We trust very few seafood restaurants to serve fresh, sustainable seafood that has been raised in unpolluted waters. Looking forward to the "bar menu" for lunch. Don't understand, however, why we were to receive no dining points for this meal; we did receive points for our visit in February????

The food was OK - nothing spectacular. The service was good, but a bit too attentive. When we got there it wasn't crowded, and I felt that our waiter was speeding us along - this was the second time I felt rushed there. The big thing, though, is that two dishes that were put in front of me were dirty - there was residue of a previous meal on the rim/underside. For the price of eating at McCormick and Schmick, I would have at least expected spotless dishes.

Waiter got order wrong and did not seem to care. Took no steps to make the situation better. My correct order took so long to come that my date's meal (delivered at the same time as my wrong order) was now cold. There was little apology and seemingly no manager involvement in the situation. I have eaten here many times before and am usually pleased with the service, but this waiter was awful. He did not even check up on our meal or refill our drinks.

MY wife and I waited for 20 minutes without any server approaching us and I finally asked a passing waitress if there was anyone assigned to our booth. She went to find out. It turns out that our waiter was the one talking to the people at the next booth and ignored my several attempts to get his attention to find out who would be serving our table (waiters tend to have very selective hearing). My wife and I enjoy this restaurant and this is the only time we had this problem and the waiter was someone whom we had not seen previously.

My fiancee had the scallop dish, with stringbeans and creamy rice which was not good, it seemed overcooked. She was disappointed because the waiter said that it was with asparagus not string beans. I had fried shrimp which was ok, not any different from any other fried shrimp, I had at other restaurants. My fiancee had a coke w/lemon, but did not receive the lemon(we used the lemon from the shrimp dish)and her glass was broken and my glass had a small chip. We did tell the waiter, and the mgr apologized and offered free desserts. The mgr also explained about hot water for cleaning the glasses and then making a cold drink and that is how it broke. I don't like excuses, because you should have seen it before serving the customer.

This restaurant was very good. Although this restaurant is know for the seafood selections, the steak dinner was delicious too! The wine list was good and the desert choices were scrumptious but too large for one person! However, we had to wait approximately 40 minutes to be seated and there was no room at the bar to sit and wait for our table, which was frustrating and uncomfortable.
