There were four of us that ate here for dinner. We were all VERY impressed with the food. The cook/owner even came to our table after we had finished to see if we were happy with the meal. Nobody has ever done that before which impressed us even more. I have to admit though...the bread pudding was the best I have ever had in my life!!!

My wife & I eat at Sansone's several times a year and always enjoy our meals there. Although the regular menu is limited, Chef Robert always has an interesting special available. This visit was no exception. The food was delicious, our server was friendly and helpful, and we weren't rushed through our meal. Our daughter was with us as we were celebrating her 21st birthday, and the "Happy Birthday" in chocolate writing on her dessert plate really topped off the evening for her!

The Happy Anniversary promo card we received was a perfect reminder to come back for another visit! Living in downtown Denver, we don't always think of dining in Englewood, but meeting friends at that end of town made Sansones the perfect choice. Plus it turned out they were Sansones regulars! Our meal was delicious and the grand marnier soufflé is not to be missed! We will be back.

Sansone's is a neighborhood gem and we are very grateful that they have remained here. Chef Robert is the best and everyone is so friendly and wanting to give you the best service whenever you eat there. I love the paintings that are for sale hanging on the walls - what a treat and how economically priced by local artists. I highly recommend Sansone's!!

We so enjoy eating out at this restaurant. It's a cozy spot with friendly staff and outstanding food for the taste buds. I really enjoy the salad with Dijon ranch dressing, tangy on the tongue. The soups are also outstanding but many I cannot have because they are not gluten free but my husband enjoys them all. I had the Veal Anjou which was excellent, cooked to tender perfection. The sides are always a treat--one of my favorites is the red cabbage. Whenever we want to have a delicious meal at a reasonable price for what you get, we go to Sansone's. I highly suggest you try this restaurant if you haven't already.

I had the filet mignon special and my husband had the wienerschnitzel. Both were cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. It's lovely that the owners, Erica and Chef Robert, personally check with the guests to make sure everything is okay. And of course it's always more than okay. This is our go-to restaurant to bring friends or for special occasions. It never disappoints.

We go to Sansone's about once a month and it is always wonderful in every aspect. The regular menu is diverse to accommodate everyone's taste, the service is always excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. The two or three specials each evening are always changing and provide an opportunity for regular customers to try something new when the mood hits you to do so. Robert, the chef/owner, comes out of the kitchen to say hello to every table and to inquire about the quality of the meal and the service.

It was a joy to celebrate Easter without having to cook--let Robert do it! I had the salmon plate, which the chef made gluten-free for me and everything on it was delicious. My husband had the corned beef hash with sides, one of his favorites. My daughter had the lamb which was so tender it was falling off the bones. The dessert was especially for us, a baklava ice cream cake that they even cut off the graham cracker crust for us---it wasa WOW! In addition, all the tables had Easter decorations along with chocolates and jelly beans--the gourmet ones. It was such a treat--we will for sure do this again for a holiday!

Robert Sansone is one o the BEST CHEFS in Denver in my opinion. Although the Menu not overly large, by any means, incl his Daily specials he has quite the Continental selection. Everything he prepares is absolutely incredible. His daily soups are unbelievably good and not your "run-of-the-mill" kind. We had cheicken-hummus on Saturday, which was UNREAL. I would recommend Sansone's to everyone. GREAT FOOD. Great SERVICE and both Erica and Robert make it a point to speak to each and every patron at each table !! Wonderful!!!

We wanted to eat in Littleton, and this restaurant came up with the best rating. Now it might be OK for your typical Italian strip mall restaurant, but certainly not on the scale of upscale or gourmet food (worthy of 4.5 stars). The restaurant is outdated, with dirty and broken ceiling tiles. The servers do not present well. My salad was wilted. I had veal liver, reported to be the "best ever". Frankly, it tasted like the cow's liver my mom used to make. I ate three bites and was done. I got a white wine flight for $5.00 and was served a white wine flight worth $5.00. The signature dessert was really impressive, but not presented well by our server, who dumped the toppings into it. Frankly, a terrible experience.

I'd give 5 stars for the food and service, but was really surprised by one thing... The waiter and manager acknowledged it was our anniversary when we came in (I let them know when I made the reservation). We pre-ordered their signature Grand Marnier souffle for dessert when we ordered our meal, at their recommendation due to the cook/prep time. We also had a bottle of wine, an appetizer and two of their more expensive entrees. They were all delicious! But when the souffle was brought out it had fallen. Our waiter offered to have it remade (would have taken a long time), but assured us it would still taste great (it did!). I spent $120 and tipped another $30. But I was surprised they charged us for the Souffle! Otherwise, perfect.

Tonight we did the early bird special which gives you plenty to eat. The salad with the Dijon Ranch dressing is always tasty. I had the sole with artichokes and feta cheese--superb! My husband had the shrimp linguine. My sides included red cabbage, red rice and yummy cooked greens. The combination of flavor seas the best

We enjoyed another great meal at Sansone's Bistro. We tend to go there about four times a year, but pledged we would go more often. As usual, our entrees were very good, however, the green side salad that comes with the entree was nothing special - bagged greens, I think. This is a neighborhood gem, so the room is small, but cozy. It's nice that the chef, Mr. Sansone, makes it a point to come out of the kitchen and walk through the room, checking to ensure everyone is enjoying their meal. We like this restaurant very much and will continue enjoying it.

Brought a friend for a birthday dinner, and it was great. We were seated promptly and our server, Pamela, was a gem. She knew the menu backward and forward and recommended some good wines. A huge selection is available by the glass or even half-glass, if you only want a little more to finish your dinner. I had the duck (for a change) and my friend had the shrimp linguini. Both were delicious. I'm trying to work my way through the menu to try different items, but I have to say for the appetizer, do try the artichoke hearts in cream sauce, they are KILLER. The only downside is when they are busy, it gets a little noisy and hard to hear your dinner companion. But, don't let that stop you, come early!

This was our second time dining at Sansone's and it was as good as the first! We went during restaurant week and knew that we wanted to return during a less hectic time. It was wonderful. My husband had the veal chop and I had the Pork Wellington (specials that night), both done to perfection. Jessica, our server, was constantly checking to make sure everything was to our liking, and of course, Robert, the owner and chef, stopped by to see how we liked our meal. Had a wonderful bottle of wine and a very relaxing and enjoyable evening. We will be back!

The hostess recognized our miss on the prior evening (we were a day late) and was very pleasant in finding us a table on a busy Friday evening. Thoroughly enjoyed our entrees of soles and schnitzel. My wife and I went to Sansone based on past reviews. When we got there, we were a bit suprise to find out that we were the only ones in the resutaurant under 55 years old the the restaurant was half full. This place seems to be very popular with the older folks from the neighborhood. Overall, the food was good. Nothing to die for, but it was solid. The waiter was attentive and offered options. I do not know if we would go back there again because we felt like a bit out of place being in our 30s and the rest of the folks were in their late 50s.

They had spent the past 2 months in Calif., and had dined at some of the finest restaurants in the Santa Barbara and Palm Springs areas, but they said Sansone's was better than any of the others. We had reservations for 7pm for two. We waited in a tiny "holding area" and watched as walk ins were seated before us. Our table was right by the entrance to the kitchen and waiters station making it very busy. Since it is a bistro, it was very small inside and the tables were cramped together. The food was very good, but not very unique to the spot. I did like that they offered an option for a half plate to cater to those that don't want a large meal. Prices are probably reasonable and halved for the half entree's. The hall to the bathrooms reminded me of those found on military ships...very narrow!

Because of the delicious meal we had from the limited Restaurant Week menu, we are excited to return and try many of the items on their regular menu. We had the lamb shank and the veal schnitzel. Both were fabulously prepared. I'm not a big fan of Brussel sprouts, but these were so good, I actually finished them!! The wine selection was varied and we each enjoyed our picks from the by the glass wine list. And then dessert came… YUM!!
