This little bistro is a MUST visit for any So. Denver local. While the host/hostess process needs some organization and prioritization, the food and remaining service was exceptional. We arrived for a 7pm reservation and didn't get seated until about 7:30pm while some other individuals without reservations were seated first so we decided to enjoy the small bar tucked in the corner. We tested the carpaccio and plat de paris sampler for appetizers and moved onto some gazpacho for an intermezzo. Our entrees were the lamb special with cherry glaze (hands down our favorite) and my spouse enjoyed the veal anjou (such a close second its a tough one). Even though you have to order it with dinner, the Grand Marnier souffle was fantastic!

Sansone's is a little gem in an unassuming cover. Located in a suburban strip mall, with no pretense, the chef serves up top flight meals. Reservations needed to enjoy succulent tasty lamb chops, tender veal dishes and unique desserts. Dine early and enjoy the same tastes at a reduced price. Always full of satisfied diners.

We recently celebrated my mother's birthday at Sansone's. Erica greeted us at the door. The restaurant was completely full except for our awaiting table. (I suggest calling ahead for reservations) Erica suggested a lovely wine. For myself, a cold Guinness! For my mother, a Kettle One martini. We started with appetizers. The salmon pate was insanely good!. Chef Robert had a beautifully cooked pork tenderloin as one of the specials that evening. It was moist, tender and delicious. The staff is friendly and efficient, yet unobtrusive. We didn't order dessert that night, because we brought in a birthday cake. Pamela, our server, took great care of us. What a memorable evening it was! Do not miss out! We will definitely be back!

We've had dinner at Sansone's several times and have always enjoyed the experience. This restaurant is located in a strip mall, which can be deceiving. It's a small, husband and wife restaurant where the husband is the chef and the wife runs the room. Service has always been excellent and tends to be the same core servers who have been there many years. Chef changes the menu and adds his daily specials, so we've never had the same thing twice. We've never had a "blah" uninspired dinner here and highly recommend it. Also, when time allows, Chef comes out of the kitchen and goes from table to table to ensure everyone is enjoying their meal and just visiting. In fact, he delivered our last dinner meal to us himself!

The food is always excellent as Robert Sansone is the chef and owner. His lovely wife Erica is the hostess. My husband always orders the liver and onions and is never disappointed. They always get special wines and recomend pairing of wines with your meals. We have been coming to Sansones for years after being introduced to the restaurant from our friends. Reservations recomended.

We frequent this restaurant often for the service and uniqueness of the menu, particularly the specials. The dessert soufflé is tops! We have celebrated special occasions there including birthdays and Thanksgiving. The chef makes rounds throughout dinner and the wait staff is very attentive. You can tell they have a following of regulars. Although it's cozy and has a European like influence, we only wish the layout of tables wasn't so tight. When they are busy (often the case), and you don't get a "full booth" it often feels as though you are sitting in a hallway or the other patrons are sitting at your table. We did overhear (hard not to), they have plans for a new location and look to expand. Executed well, this would be welcome.

We celebrated our anniversary dining at Sansone's, a south suburban neighborhood gem if there ever was one. The quality of the food compares with what you'd find at the most fashionable restaurants in Denver but at much more moderate prices. As usual, it was a lovely dining experience. Warm friendly family atmosphere. Wonderful menu and specials. Sublime desserts. Our favorite. As an added perk, if you spend $50 or more on food you can purchase $5 movie tickets good at Regal and United Artist theaters for any movie, any time.

This is small, cozy neighorhood restuarant with a relatively limited menu and wine list. However, we have had two very positive dining experiences here and will definitely be going back. Though ostensibly an Italian restaurant the menu usally has a few German/Austrian type dishes as well - try the weiner schnitzel, it's one of the best we ever had. WE also loved the veal piccata. A great find for a party of 2-4 people. Next time we will probably try the eggplant parmigiana, ususally the acid test for an Italian restaurant.

We had a group of 9 for dinner on a Friday night. At the last minute we had to adjust the reservation time. The restaurant was very accommodating and we had a great celebration dinner. The food and service were excellent. For a small restaurant they had plenty of food options for everyone. Not only were the entrees great, but the sides were excellent as well. And don't forget the Grand Marnier souffle for dessert.

What a surprise! This small restaurant delivers big time in all respects. The food was innovative, fresh, and very, very tasty. My wife & I eat at Sansone's several times a year and always enjoy our meals there. Although the regular menu is limited, Chef Robert always has an interesting special available. This visit was no exception. The food was delicious, our server was friendly and helpful, and we weren't rushed through our meal. Our daughter was with us as we were celebrating her 21st birthday, and the "Happy Birthday" in chocolate writing on her dessert plate really topped off the evening for her!

The Happy Anniversary promo card we received was a perfect reminder to come back for another visit! Living in downtown Denver, we don't always think of dining in Englewood, but meeting friends at that end of town made Sansones the perfect choice. Plus it turned out they were Sansones regulars! Our meal was delicious and the grand marnier soufflé is not to be missed! We will be back.

We so enjoy eating out at this restaurant. It's a cozy spot with friendly staff and outstanding food for the taste buds. I really enjoy the salad with Dijon ranch dressing, tangy on the tongue. The soups are also outstanding but many I cannot have because they are not gluten free but my husband enjoys them all. I had the Veal Anjou which was excellent, cooked to tender perfection. The sides are always a treat--one of my favorites is the red cabbage. Whenever we want to have a delicious meal at a reasonable price for what you get, we go to Sansone's. I highly suggest you try this restaurant if you haven't already.

We go to Sansone's about once a month and it is always wonderful in every aspect. The regular menu is diverse to accommodate everyone's taste, the service is always excellent and the prices are more than reasonable. The two or three specials each evening are always changing and provide an opportunity for regular customers to try something new when the mood hits you to do so. Robert, the chef/owner, comes out of the kitchen to say hello to every table and to inquire about the quality of the meal and the service.
