  • Our Everett Favorite!

We were a bit concerned about trying this for the first time due to other reviews about slow service. Friday evening we made reservations for 7 PM, and were immediately seated at a prime booth, marked with a "reserved" sign. This while others ahead of us without reservations were still waiting. Service was excellent from start to finish. Food was amazing. Ample portions of gourmet comfort food. We had meatloaf and shepherds pie. Both were outstanding. Noise level is high, so don't go here for a romantic dinner. We loved the downtown Old Everett location too. This is our new favorite Everett find !

The food at Majestic Cafe is outstanding. Lots of variety and all very well executed. However, the service is so incredibly slow. The waiter was pleasant, but inattentive. They have a disclaimer of the front of the menu about how it is a courses restaurant and that they wait for all members of the party to finish before they bring out your next course. In theory that is great. And I assume that is how they reason away super slow service. But when it takes 45 minutes to get your drink and order anything the excuse starts to fail. Then it took 30 minutes MORE to get our appetizer. A 75 minute wait for the first bite of food is ridiculous. I would recommend this resaurant to others- with caution.

I always enjoy the Majestic. The menu is what I would call upscale comfort food. There are so many favorites. The wine list is good. The martini's are well made. The service has always been friendly and wonderful. My daughter and I stopped in before attending the Mousetrap at the EPAC. Everyone from the host to the servers made sure we had time to eat, drink and talk with out having to hurry. That made it very relaxing not having to worry. And we made it to the play with plenty of time to spare.

The food was scrumptious and very very reasonably priced. Especially when it's fixed from scratch! You can taste the difference. It was super noisy however, & was hard to talk and also would have loved to have been able to hear the live piano music. What a treat! When we were seating we were asked if we had a leave time to get to a show, we did, and we were served paid and outta there, right on time. I have already recommended to others. Yum

It was a nice place and the food was good... specially the chocolate cake that we had for dessert... the bar messed up both my friend's drinks (either made wrong or something but definitely not good)... Other than that, this place is good to go with friends and have a good dinner and catch up.

We go here often. This last visit was the first time we have had questionable service. We did speak to the manager, but we waited 45 minutes to do so. Our wait person was new and the business was busy; however, that has never been an issue in the past. We will continue to go here unless this happens again.

We visited the Majestic Cafe recently to celebrate my Birthday. The online reservation service worked well for us. I was able to make the reservation on my smartphone and were promptly seated when we arrived. Our waitress was wonderful. Very friendly/attentive, answered all our questions, and promptly address our needs. The menu is varied yet not overwelming. The Roast Pork Dinner was very good, as was the Sauteed Butternut Squash. At the end we were full and the waitress offered us a coupon for their complimentary birthday dessert, for use during another visit. I thought that was a nice touch. we will definitely visit again.

Had the gorgonzola fries as an appetizer, meat loaf for dinner, bread pudding for dessert and a raspberry lemon drop. The fries and the meat loaf were fantastic and the meat loaf portion gave me dinner for the next day. The bread pudding was only so-so, needed more seasoning. The drink was good. I'll definitely be going back!

This was our first visit. When we were seated we were asked if we'd been in before, when we replied no, the person seating us said, well we'd better take great care of you so it won't be your last. Well, they did just that, everyone was great, experience was awesome. Food awesome too. ( mac and chees was yummy) We live in the area and we will make this one of our go to spots in Everett. We went after 4:00 so it was the dinner menu, but the lunch menu looks great too!

Easy to use reservation system online. Wait staff attentive and personable. Food choices varied and well-presented. Food is flavorful and generous in proportion. The only drawback is that we said we weren't in a hurry. But that shouldn't mean we wait an hour and a quarter before the first course arrives, with only a drink to sustain us.

This was our first time at the Majestic, but not our last. The menu was expansive and had something for everyone. They seem to lean towards comfort food such as meatloaf and a full blown turkey dinner, but also have steaks and a number of seafood selections. The wine list was also great. The best part is that they make sure to know your plans and serve the food accordingly. If you have a show to make they will get the food out in order for you to be on time, but if you have time they will serve the meal with amble time for you to enjoy each course.

Great selection of homestyle and gourmet items on the menu. If you have a play or another event to get to they are great about getting you in and out. But they are set up for coursing meaning they don't bring the next course out until everyone in your party is done with the current course. It made for a very nice relaxing evening since we had nowhere to be.

My wife had the Roast turkey dinner succulent slices of roasted turkey breast served with our house-made stuffing, cran-mixed berry chutney, smashed potatoes with gravy & vegetable while I had the their Majestic Mac and Cheese a creamy blend of four cheeses & diced black forest ham tossed with al dente penne pasta & topped with a parmesan crust, garnished with green onions and a side of vegetable. pleasantly surprised by this new find. I have not been to Everett in years and was there to attend the performance of "Fiddler" @ the Performing Arts Center. Online reservations were acknowledged when we checked in, and they noted our timing needs. Our server, Andrew, was engaging and very likeable--though I would prefer he skip the kneeling beside the table. The only glitch was that the girl clearing plates did not bring my left overs back to me before we left, and I was so caught up in conversation with my companion that I forgot. It was a significant portion of my meal, so that was disappointing. Also, sidewalks are rolled up tight, so a return visit for dessert following "Fiddler" couldn't happen.

We had a early dinner so they weren't very busy, but everything I saw served looked good. The burgers looked especially good. The menu says 'comfort food', and that about sums it up. The garlic mashed potatoes were super fantastic; the salads were good and not over-dressed; the meat dishes and appetizers were all done very well. The menu is not particularly fancy, but there are plenty of good "standards" on the menu. The wine selection is a little thin, but the beer choices are quite good. The noise level is pretty high, so if you have folks who are hard of hearing in your group, they may be a little frustrated. But it's good for kids for the same reason.

Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. The drinks are fun! A great martini and manhattans list with drinks named after movie stars. I had the Mango martini and it was good. My dinner entree was excellent. It was the Butternut Squash and mixed vegetable sautee. So delicious and nutritious. It came with a side of broccoli that was cooked just right. I really like this place. The movie star theme is fun. It's very near the Everett Comcast Arena, which makes it a great place to eat before a concert or show. Service was a little slow, but we had plenty of time so it wasn't a problem. This was my second time eating there, and the food was delicious both times.

A bit of a slow start as even with a reservation seating was not as quick as expected. It took approximately 8 minutes to get seated. The server was well prepared and recited the daily specials very well. Ordered the special salmon dinner plate and the mac n cheese dinner. Ordered a side salad with both. The salads were fresh, but the cucumber slice was large and felt more like a garnish than part of the salad to eat. Both vinaigrette dressings were excellent. The dinner plates were served hot and the food quality was excellent. Ordered the espresso mousse and the burnt creme for dessert. The espresso mousse was good, but too sweet. The burnt creme was good, but not quite up to snuff. The atmosphere is very casual.

The menu had a good variety of choices and each of the entrees our party chose was rated excellent on taste. The service was good and most notably they started by asking if we had a timeline to be somewhere else after dinner. We did have tickets to the theater later that evening. This simple question removed the stress we usually experience at most other restaurants trying to get the final check. Definitely a restaurant to list on your favorites.

We are season ticket holders for the Everett Theater and like to eat at this restaurant before the theater. I wish you had the same arrangements with the Everett Theater that Lombardi's does. We would much rather eat at your establishment. Our friends come from the Seattle area and we come from the Camano Island area so your spot is the perfect meeting place and the food is priced right and taste great.

Get some basic "home-cooked-like" comfort food at a higher price at the Majestic Cafe'. The menu is ordinary and the service equally so despite the contrary printed clearly on the menu's cover. We were seated next to a large loud group of adults, which I assume is common here. "Atmosphere" of movie icon posters hanging high up on walls, who is that? The food is plain and simple. Crab cakes lacked one thing, flavor. Butternut Squash Saute w/vegetables was a mixture of over and undercooked vegetables. Very bland in the flavor dept. Pork Tenderloin in Balsamic Cherry Butter was a decent meat dish but you might do it better at home. Large stalk of broccoli on the plate added a nice touch of green color.
