Tru Fire has the best gluten free menu I have come across! Every dish on their menu can be made gluten free except the pizzas. The ones I have tried so far are delicious. And they even make a gluten free chocolate cake that is moist and delicious. If you are gluten free, it is a rare find.

It was our date night choice. Great service, our waiter Michael was awesome. He was ready to give some GREAT recommendations that probably made our experience even better. He also was always around at just the right time. The food was delcious. We had the Paddle board appetizer - YUM! The Spicy Garlic Noodles and Latin Fire pizza were amazing. Dessert was the Banana Split - which was the perfect way to end the meal. I tried their Blackberry mixed drink (name escapes me) but it was delcious. It was noisy, but we didn't mind. I could still hear my husband for conversation - it had a great crowd on Saturday night. We made a reservation so we walked in and our table was already ready. Overall very happy with our evening.

This was the first restaurant in the OpenTable network that truly disappointed us. It was crowded with tables too close together, extremely noisy, and very dark. The noise level rating above assumes that loud and energetic are the same. Definitely not. I marked "do not recall" so I could describe the noise here in the comments section. Food was only fair. Red wine was served at appropriate temperature -- that was the only thing done right. We were seated at a table for two behind and very close to a large family group with small children. We finished dinner quickly and went next door to a patisserie with lovely desserts and beautiful patio.

I went with a friend of mine to catch up and enjoy a good dinner. The good was decent, but nothing I'd say I HAVE to go back for. The crab dip was very cheese heavy, easy way to bulk it up without having to use much crab meat. Our dinner entrees were good, I had the napa chicken, again too much cheese in the orzo. The drinks were fantastic, however light.... All and all, it was ok but not one we are racing back to try again.

The food was good here. The noise level was outrageous. I would rank it one of the loudest restaurant experiences I've ever had. At least 85-90 decibels the entire evening. That's loud enough to cause permanent hearing damage. No acoustic tiles and no noise-buffering coverings on the hard tile floor. I've been to the Southlake location, a couple of years ago and all I remember was the noise. Same here. I guess they haven't fixed that part of the equation.

First time at TruFire...won't be the last! Excellent food and service. The hummus was the best we've ever had. Wife had a spinach salad that was really good. I had the diablo pizza and it was incredible. We were expecting a slightly larger menu, but they did have what we wanted. Can't wait to go back.

One of my favorite restaurants...food is so consistently awesome and fresh. Well trained friendly service people and an owner that is always active and present to ensure a great experience. The size of the restaurant is perfect as well, not so big that things get out of control with long service times, but not too small that you can't in, and seated in a reasonable timeframe. Love the blackberry blast, but for $10, it's a lil pricey.

I've been to the Plano location twice. Once when they were recommended by D magazine not long after they opened, then again last week. Both times I was underwhelmed compared to all the good reviews. I will admit I didnt have the hummus or the pizza, which are their specialities. The menu is limited if you don't want pizza or sandwiches. The food is average. The service was very attentive. Lots of kids were there. Seems like a good place for lunch with friends or dinner with your family.

Love Tru Fire, food and service is always great! Just a bit disappointed they changed the soups - no more Tuscan Bean Soup, my fav! Now there are 2 cream soups. Since I can't have dairy, soup is out now. Maybe consider one soup that is not cream based for the future? A lot of people are avoiding dairy now. The bean soup was perfect for my diet! Food has been delicious every time I've eaten there. It is a small space and can be a little tight depending on where you sit. The service is amazingly fast! We went at 7:00 on a Saturday night and were out in just over an hour. This meal included cocktails an appetizer, dinner for 3 and dessert. Food comes out hot and fresh! Yum! I would highly suggest making a reservation so that you don't have to wait too long. During busy times the wait can be as long as an hour.

We started with the crab dip and the fire charred artichokes (recommended as one of D Magazines top dishes of 2013) and were not disappointed. The food was fantastic!! The Napa Chicken was also to die for. The portions are quite large, so more than likely you'll have leftovers. As for the service, it started out very good then went downhill after the appetizers. We were without drinks or water for quite a while and it took almost 20 minutes to get the check and boxes after we were done eating. Overall, I would go back just for the food but not have high expectations for service as to not be let down.

Loved it! We were treated warmly and with gracious service from the moment I called to let them know we were running behind on our reservations. They noted that i had put it was our first time dining as this site asks, when we checked in she said her welcome as well as a kind comment toward it being our first visit. The food was elevated casual and just straight out yummy! I am pretty picky as to where we dine, I like to feel spoiled and have excellent food, to me thats the whole dining pleasure. My husband is military and never home, and I chase a 2 year old all day! When we get to be together, I like it to feel special. This place qualifies as that, so Trufire, will def be back.
